The Horrible Cost of One Deception

Beyond contributing to the ultimate death of King Fahd, there is another exceptionally negative unintended consequence of the first Bush Administration’s foolish attempt to replace ALLAH in ruling over the affairs of the Middle East. In this contrived attempt to contribute to their narrow perception of U.S. national interests the deceptive Bush Administration deliberately concealed their overwhelming desire for Iraqi forces to not only invade Kuwait. But they also successfully disguised their intention to prevent Iraq from withdrawing from Kuwait by cleverly applying reverse diplomacy; a diplomacy designed to promote war rather to prevent war. Consequently, by their effective deception they set in motion a tragic and horrible chain of events. Even fifteen years later we cannot begin to grasp the full extent of all the human suffering that their supposedly isolated choice to deceive will ultimately bring to its mostly Muslim victims in the Middle East. Moreover, that one evil deception has reach out its poisonous tentacles to victimize through the terrorism it spawned to a significant portion of the world.

Here is a major irony. The one now elderly man who with deep sincerity appears on T.V. with another former President, Bill Clinton, to appeal for funds for the unfortunate TSUNAMI victims, a decade and five years ago himself unleashed a man made TSUNAMI on especially the Middle East which even today continues to gobble up innocent victims.

The chain of disastrous events triggered by this former CIA director and later U.S. President goes like this. And it is significant to keep in mind that this dreadful sequence has continued despite this former President’s sincere attempts to persuade his agenda driven son not to invade Iraq.

A Disastrous Chain of Events

1. His own Administration deceptively lured Iraq to invade Kuwait by putting out three false messages by three separate State Department officials that the U.S. had no plans to defend Kuwait.

2. After the invasion occurred our diplomatic efforts did not concentrate on obtaining an Iraqi withdrawal. Rather, they were deliberately focused on guaranteeing that Iraqi forces would remain in Kuwait so that the U.S. could have the war with Iraq that so many powerful interests groups so desperately wasted to occur.

3. In order to Further guarantee that this desirable war would occur, the U.S. was compelled to make certain that the sincere attempts by the skillful peacemaker, King Hussein of Jordan was not successful in his attempts to persuade Saddam Hussein to withdraw his forces from Iraq which would ruin all the carefully laid plans for war. Through the concerted efforts of President Hosni Mubarak of Egypt and the Bush Administration, the Kings efforts were sufficiently sabotaged and he was sufficiently vilified that his almost successful efforts were evilly shot down.

4. As a direct result of the distortions of truth combined with the creative lies which were told to King Fahd, Saudi Arabia yielded to the relentless pressure from U.S. officials and allowed several hundred thousand U.S. troops in the very land of all of Islam’s two most “Holy Places”

5. This final major indignity for all of Islam was more than one wealthy Muslim veteran of the war in Afghanistan could tolerate. So being painfully aware of these multitudes of non-Muslim foreign military personnel on what was considered the virtual holy ground of Islam was a greater humiliation than this man and many, many other Arab Muslims could bear. Therefore, this hated and resented humiliating foreign presence of American troops on Saudi soil became the C-O-R-E GRIEVANCE on which the resentful, insulted Osama Bin Laden founded Al Qaeda.

6. Due to what the U.S. only considered as one small, strategic diplomatic lie the following tragic events have occurred.

The U.S.S. Cole in Yemen was nearly sunk with significant loss of innocent life. Two U.S. Embassies in two countries were bombed on the same day with significant loss of innocent life. On 9/11 the Twin Towers were destroyed and the Pentagon was severely damaged with significant loss of innocent life.

Soon the evil, revengeful, lethal tentacles of Al Qaeda even stretched into South East Asia where the 2002 Bali bombing took over 200 innocent lives.

7. All of this horrible slaughter of ALLAH’s innocent human beings gave the American Republican Neoconservatives the excuse they needed to take off the shelf an evil, arrogant plan that they had already created to realign the Middle East, beginning with Iraq. So after they had dusted off their ready made plan, and after they had mostly defeated the Taliban in Afghanistan, they renamed their old plan a new name which has significant resonance with especially the American people. The new name for the old Neoconservative plan is “Bush’s War On Terrorism and Democracy For the Middle East As Time Permits.”

So the long and short summary of this horrible sequence of events is this. By the arrogant and myopic first Bush Administration attempting in 1990 to up stage ALLAH by substituting their own evil plan for the mostly Muslim Middle East instead of trusting His plan for the mostly Muslim Middle East, they unintentionally triggered a blowback of terrorism. So you now have a young Bush fanning the flames of the out of control fire first ignited by one seemingly insignificant diplomatic lie of the old Bush.

Only time will reveal the full extent of the human tragedy mainly caused by the first Bush Administration’s supposedly minor prevarication to King Fahd, to other Middle Eastern leaders including King Hussein, to the U.S. congress, to the United Nations, to the U.S. led coalition, and to the world community. But all the victims of this lie can be certain of this reality. The Merciful has been a concerned observer of this entire man-made tragedy. Therefore, it is ALLAH Himself Who will deal severely with the American arsonists who initially sparked this Middle East conflagration. But He will also deal no less severely with the mostly American terrorists, British terrorists and Arab terrorists who have worked tirelessly to stir each other up in order to make certain the consuming flames of this avoidable conflagration keep burning.
