NeoconservatISM’s New Crusade Against the Muslims Middle East

(This sheet is from Tom Griffith/Abu Toma with the assistance of modified information from the 8/10/05 Jordan Times article- “The Triumph of Neoconservatives in Iraq” by the director of the School of International Management of Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Professor, Abbas Ali).

  1. NeconservatISM (New Conservatism) is the guiding belief system of certain uniquely influential officials in the U.S. Republican party.These Neoconservatives or Neocons as they are called, specifically plan to use the uniquely powerful U.S. military to control, divide and fragment the predominantly Muslim Arab nations of the Mid East beginning with Iraq. Their primary purpose in accomplishing these goals is in order to lessen the potential for the Arab Nations to unite so that they will be a threat to Israel in the region and to lessen their potential for uniting in order to interrupt the smooth flow of economic Persian Gulf oil to the West.
  2. Neoconservatives as persons should be loved and not be hated as ALLAH’s Risen man from West Bank Bethlehem emphatically taught us to love even our enemies.
  3. Though Neocons as persons should be loved and not be hated, the majority of the Neocon’s principles must be hated, prayed against and vigorously fought against due to these principle’s being owned by the most powerful militarized nation in the world which has already used these principles to invade, occupy and bring chaos, suffering and destruction to the vulnerable people of Iraq. Yet, these principles do not intend for this to occur only to Iraq but also to other nations of the Middle East.
  4. An influential leader of the Neocon’s, Paul Wolfowitz, exerted tremendous pressure on President George Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney to manipulate them to use the uniquely powerful U.S. Military against Iraq if they could either invent or manipulate any near plausible internationally acceptable pretence to invade Iraq.
  5. As a young Pentagon analyst in 1979, well before there were serious concerns about Saddam Hussein’s conduct as President of Iraq, Paul Wolfowitz identified Iraq as a M-E-N-A-C-E which had to be dealt with, implying that the U.S. military should deal forcefully with Iraq, both to decrease Iraq’s power and to lessen its potential threat to the most significant Middle Eastern ally to the U.S.; Israel.
  6. According to Time magazine, it was well before 9/11 when Paul Wolfowitzpressured George W. Bush and Dick Cheney to do something about Iraq.
  7. The new U.S. Ambassador to Iraq, Zalamy Khalizad, is a strong Neocon, insuring that the Neocon anti Arab Muslim philosophy of fragmentation will continue to permeate American foreign policy toward Iraq and its people.
  8. It is a reasonable assumption that as a committed Neocon, Ambassador Khalizad is an adamant advocate of a central Neocon belief in the virtue of perpetual war and in the use of forceful approaches (rather than diplomatic approaches) to world problems.
  9. Even back in the 1970’s, Neocons designated Iraq as a threat to their design and purposes for the Mid East.
  10. Iraq’s abundant supply of the natural resources of water and oil were not what made Iraq so strong that caused it to be feared as a main threat to the Neocons in the 1970s.
  11. The obvious fact that the people of Iraq were spirited and cultured and displayed pride, patriotism and independent thinking greatly worried the Neocons as early as the 1970s.
  12. In targeting Iraq the NEOCONS see war and military intervention as the main instruments to use to further divide Iraq’s ethnic and religious divisions.
  13. The NEOCONS wish to bring an end to Iraq’s mainly Arab identity.
  14. In 1982 Oded Yinon made a statement that guided the NEOCONS to use internal strife and war in Iraq in order to bring the end of Iraq as an Arab State.
  15. “In the short run it is Iraqi power which constitutes the greates threat to Israel” and that a division of Iraq “into provinces along ethnic religious lines…is possible…,” said Mr. Yinon.
  16. Critics of NEOCONS say that they are “obsessed with a grand design to militarize the globe and to globalize fear.”
  17. The core of NEOCON’s thinking revolves around the Middle East and the role of Israel in the Middle East.
  18. The NEOCON’s beliefs are different from President Bush’s beliefs because the NEOCONS believe that freedom, prosperity and cultural renaissance for the Arab people are each a threat to Israeli security and vitality.
  19. As sweet and comforting as it may be that the U.S. President desires freedom and Democracy for Arabs, there is a cold reality operating that neither the President nor the American people realize. What the U.S. President wants and desires makes virtually no difference.  It is the strategically placed influential, powerful NEOCONS who in reality decide what U.S. military and political policies will be followed in the Middle East.
  20. Similar to how Muhamad Ali became the undisputed heavy weight champion boxer of the world, today’s NEOCONs have achieved a similar status with few persons realizing it. They now have undisputed domination of designing U.S. foreign policy for the Middle East.
  21. The NEOCONS have put themselves at the strategic core of the three primary U.S. agencies responsible for Foreign Affairs.
  22. NEOCONS are at the core of the strategically important Nationals Security Council.
  23. NEOCONS are at the core of the strategically important Department of State.
  24. NEOCONS are at the core of the strategically important Defense Department.
  25. Additionally, with a NEOCONSERVATIVE Ambassador in Baghdad , Zalamy Khalizad, NEOCONS are virtually in control of U.S. policy in Iraq.
  26. The new U.S., United Nations Ambassador, John Bolton has strong NEOCONSERVATIVE views.
  27. Significantly, the President of the World Bank, Paul Wolfowitz, is a NEOCONSERVATIVE who greatly influences the World Bank’s perspective on which nations deserve financial aid.
  28. The strategically important Pentagon is permeated with men committed to a U.S. neoconservative perspective.It should be remembered that it was as a young Pentagon Analyst in 1979 that Paul Wolfowitz first began identifying Iraq as a “menace” in the Middle East.
  29. The NECONS have set forth religious and ethnic policies in Iraq for conducting government and political affairs which are diametrically opposed to Bush’s announced goal of nation building. The Neoconservative’s goal of fragmenting Iraq is a purposeful obstacle to Bush’s vision of a democratic and unified Iraq. This deliberate Neoconservative attempt to fragment Iraq could lead to Iraq’s ruin or at least to its losing its identity as an Arab nation.
  30. The NEOCONS are translating their vision for fragmenting Iraq into practical steps.They have found a network of new organizations inside and outside Iraq in order to replace the unified nation of Iraq with semi-independent religious and ethnic fragments.
  31. The NEOCONSERVATIVE inspired occupation of Iraq with the terrorists their occupation has attracted to Iraq, has brought racial and religious discrimination to Iraq in a way that was not evident previous to the U.S. invasion and occupation.
  32. Michael Ledeen, a leading Neoconservative and former influential U.S. Undersecretary of State, has emphasized that the NEOCON intention for Iraq is not a stable Iraq but is how to destabilize Iraq.“The real issue is not whether, but how to destabilize.”
  33. This former high U.S. official boasted of four additional nations the NECONS hope to destabilize. “We do not want stability in Iran, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, and even Saudi Arabia.”
  34. According to the conviction of the NEOCONS, the welfare of the American people depends on the U.S. dominating the entire world militarily and especially the Middle East.
  35. The NEOCONS have convinced themselves that there must be a long term U.S. military presence in Iraq in order to guarantee American safety, security and world peace.
  36. The NEOCONS firmly believe that U.S. goals for the Middle East are in agreement with Israel’s goals and so the invasion of Iraq served the mutual interests of both the U.S. and Israel.
  37. The NEOCONS are convinced that no matter how good the U.S. treats the people of the Middle East, that Arabs are always against American interests.Therefore NEOCONS think that they must always keep the American Military in the Middle East to guarantee world peace became of the inherent antagonism that Arabs have against American interests.
  38. The Israeli newspaper Haaretz in its June 3, 2005 edition openly acknowledged that the U.S. policies in Iraq have institutionalized corruption so that corruption has paralyzed the economy so that the institutions of Iraq are not functional.  So these dysfunctional institutions along with the terrorism that has been attracted to Iraq, are tearing at Iraq’s social fabric.
  39. Due to the control the influential NEOCONS have over our government’s foreign policy, once a particular Middle Eastern nation is targeted for modification of its structures, the U.S. will be able to produce or manipulate a pretext for realignment of that targeted nation no matter how cooperative that particular Arab Muslim government attempts to be with U.S. policy.However, this may change if that nation voluntarily agrees to reduce itself to a totally humiliated state similar to what occurs to a stable person in a mental institution after receiving a frontal lobotomy. This is precisely what happened to the actor Jack Nicholson when he was reduced to a virtual vegetable in the film, “One Flew Over the Coo Coos Nest,” when, against his will he was drugged and given a frontal lobotomy by which he was reduced to a pathetic virtual non human being.To avoid realignment the nation may wish to take this lobotomy alternative which leaves that nation as an obedient, mindless U.S. puppet.
  40. The NEOCONS believe that they have the right to make any nation which they perceive as a threat to U.S. interests, into a U.S. target.NEOCONSERVATIVE thinkers Kaplan and Kristol in their book, “The War Over Iraq” see Iraq as a starting stage, “…mission beings in Baghdad but it does not end there.” (Please read the book to fully understand their reasoning.)
  41. From the very beginning of the NEOCONS’ rise to influential prominence they have viewed the invasion of Iraq as either a staging ground for their perpetual war or for securing Iraq’s instability.
  42. The former high ranking U.S. official Mr. Ladeen resorted to exceptionally vivid, symbolic, insulting racist, derogatory religious language in order to emphatically drive into any potential doubter’s mind the extreme determination of the NEOCONSERVATIVES to fully humiliate any Muslim in the Middle East who is not fully supportive of all U.S. Mid East policy.So the influential Neoconservatives are ready to manipulate the U.S. military to exert more and more pressure on especially Muslim people living in predominantly Muslim nations.This sadistic goal is to bring all M.E. Muslims into total submission to whatever U.S. Neconservatives decide is most compatible with America’s and Israel’s Middle East’ interests.
  43. In 2001, whether before 9/11 or after 9/11, I do not know, Mr. Ladeen shockingly stated, “we will not be sated (satisfied with drinking blood) until we have had the blood of every miserable little tyrant in the Middle East…and every last drooling anti-Semitic and anti-American Mullah, Imam, Sheikh and Ayatollah is either singing the praises of America or pumping gasoline for a dime a gallon on an American military base near the Arctic Circle.” From Mr. Ladeen’s vivid language it is evident that he would welcome a mascot of “The Vampire” to represent the Neoconservatives.It must be noted that from the rigid perspective of the Neoconservatives, for Muslims to be classified as either anti-American or to be anti-semitic the only requirement for them is not to agree with either American or Israeli Mid East policy.
  44. Although Mr. Ladeen made the mistake of making this statement public, the basic strategy of the Neoconservatives seems to be to stay in the dark like cockroaches in a sewer and to not often venture into the public’s eye.  As unnoticed powerful civilians, they stay in the background and pull the strings of the puppet Generals who attempt to serve the most militarized nation of the world with dignity. But the Generals must obey the orders and the strategies of these Neoconservative civilian’s policies which have the blessing of America’s Commander and Chief, President George W. Bush. (Of course, the scholarly Professor, Dr. Abbas Ali does not use words like cockroaches and vampires since he writes only to inform and not to excite to action.But, before ALLAH, whom I try to serve, I feel compelled to use the most vivid image that I can in order to alert especially Muslim leaders to the realities of the horrible dangers which they don’t see, though the dangers are lurking over their Muslim people like a menacing storm cloud which is threatening to pour out it’s lethal plague upon them.)
  45. In the book “America Alone – The Neo-Conservatives And The Global Order” by two respected Conservative scholars, Stephan Halper and Jonathan Clarke, they expose the open hostility of the Neoconservatives toward Islam.

Page 11, “Based on these beliefs and approaches, Neo-Conservatives tend to find themselves in confrontational postures: with the Muslim world now, but who knows with whom in the future.”

Page 20, “Within the Middle East, Neo-Conservatives hold highly specific views clustering around open hostility to the peace process and Islam.”

Page 20, “The imminent historian Bernard Lewis, although primarily a historian of the Ottoman period, has lent his considerable authority to the broad front Neo-Conservative assault on Islam…”

  1. The Neoconservatives can be defeated and will be defeated if two main weapons are seriously employed against them.The two weapons needed to defeat these powers hungry madmen are not bullets nor are they billions of dollars.Rather, the two main weapons are light and prayer. For instance, most of us have seen a creepy cockroach (saroor) scamper for darkness when a light is turned on.So this is why I am trying to bring into the light specific, easily understandable items regarding the Neoconservative strategy and agenda.  I do this so that when multitudes of Muslims and Christians in the Middle East are aware of the Neoconservatives’ threat, the NEOCONS will be forced to hastily retreat into the caves of darkness, once their evil agenda has been exposed to enough light.
  2. As for the power of prayer, both the Prophet Muhammad and the now Risen Man from West Bank Bethlehem placed great emphasis on the power of prayer.Therefore, if fifty percent of the multitudes of Muslims and Christians ten years old and older in several key, enlightened Middle Eastern nations will be systematically warned and informed by T.V., radio, news bulletins, mosques, churches, etc. of the imminent danger which exists to their nation, to their religion and to the fabric of their society from the evil of Neoconervatism which is feverishly attempting to extend its poisonous shadow over the Middle East, there will be a favorable outcome. If these important steps are taken, the U.S. Neoconservative Crusade against the vulnerable Muslims and Christians of the Middle East will relatively soon melt away as a slug melts into nothing when enough salt is poured on it.
  3. Therefore, if the responsible leaders and influential Muslims and Christians of the Middle East seriously plan and work to get the evil agenda of Neconservatism out into the light to multitudes in the Arabic language insuch a manner as to alert people to its danger in appropriate ways that will arouse them to action, the battle will be won.But the imminent danger of the Neoconservative threat must break through leaders’ natural lethargy and complacency so that they are overwhelmed by a sense of urgency.As people sit in restaurants, smoke argeles (hubblee-bubbulee), spend time on their jobs, attend football games, attend school, the mosque or the church, there must be one exceptionally important topic on their minds. The top topic at this particular time is not the evil of Zionism.It is not even the evils of George Bush, Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld or the lack of empathy that Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice has for the suffering Palestinians.But the topic must be how prayer and action can prevent Neoconservatism destruction from spreading from Iraq in the future.But to wait until the spread of the Neoconservatism begins to gain more momentum is to lose the battle.The Middle East must go on the offense and not just be defensive. When this occurs the entire Middle East including more than a few wise persons in Israel will rejoice when the Neoconservatve cockroaches (saroor) run for darkness.
  4. Responsible leaders of the vulnerable Middle East must learn a serious lesson from the irresponsible leaders of the U.S. regarding the New Orleans preventable hurricane/flooding disaster. Several hundred people died from all the water from hurricane Katrina.Yet, only a small percentage of the destruction and devastation would have occurred if excellent advice had not been totally ignored. That is, alarmed scientists and engineers had even used computer models to adequately warn the appropriate leaders of the appropriate steps to take when an evitable hurricane such as Katrina was bound to strike sooner rather than later. But the national leaders choose not to listen to the prevention strategies because those efforts of prevention would cost about fourteen billion dollars and the money was needed to accomplish Neoconservative goals in the Middle East. (This vividly demonstrates how much higher priority the Neoconservative agenda for the M.E. has over saving and protecting the lives of even Americans). But U.S. leaders did have a strategy to prevent the potential disaster.  They seemed to have decided that their main strategy would be to nervously ring their hands and sufficiently worry, so that no inevitable hurricane would come along.So this worrying would somehow magically prevent the inevitable tragedy. Even books had been written such as “Drowning New Orleans” and “Bayou Farewell” warning of impending danger. Even less than a billion dollars would have prevented much of the disaster, but spending billions killing people in Iraq had a much higher priority with U.S. leaders than spending a few hundred million dollars on mostly Afro-Americans in New Orleans, and Biloxi, etc.
  5. The NEOCONSERVATIVE hurricane threatening the Middle East, which has already struck Iraq, could appropriately be named “Hurricane Vampire” because of its blood sucking attributes. Yet, will responsible Arab leaders listen to this warning from one unknown 72 year old American grandfather.Or will Arab leaders follow the disastrous example of U.S. leaders in the way they ignored warnings about a hurricane like Katrina in New Orleans. Because they did not have a strong prevention philosophy, they will now spend billions and billions of dollars cleaning up the mess and rebuilding not to mention the preventable loss of life.So wise Arab leaders must not allow obstructionist complacent optimists to convince them that Iraq was a one time mistake of the Neoconservatives and that the Neoconservatives have now been defeated so badly in Iraq that there is nothing more to worry about elsewhere.  So these kind of complacent, naive Arab leaders must be fervently resisted when they try to reassure all Arab leaders that it is okay to go back to sleep and trust the Neoconservatives to not do what they have promised that they will do.  When these leaders reason like this, they do not realize that realigning Arab nations is a vital part of the long term strategy of a very committed core of Neoconservatives.  Also, don’t believe unwise status quo Arab leaders who may say: “The U.S. Neoconservatives should not be feared because it is ALLAH who protects sincere Muslims so that He does not want us to take responsible precautions for ourselves because then we would be trusting ourselves instead of trusting Him.”If that were truly ALLAH’s Will for Muslims, then he would not have given them a brain to think with, eyes and ears to see and hear with or a voice to use to warn others.
  6. So please stop right now and pray for at least 25 seconds for ALLAH to help Republican Neoconservatives realize that all people including Arabs are human beings and that they themselves should act like human beings and not like (saroor) cockroaches.
  7. Please pray for another 25 seconds to ask ALLAH to help you know one particular step you should take to help prevent the promised crusade against the Muslim nations of the Middle East which are a current target of NeoconservatISM’s current agenda.
  8. If any Middle Eastern person or leader encounters any U.S. official or media representative, please plead with them to answer for you two questions.How strong Democratic nations such as the U.S. can claim to be Christian and yet allow a strong minority of evil thinking Neoconservatives to control their vast military-industrial complex?  So how can they then think that it is ALLAH’s Will for them to use their vast military force in order to humiliate vulnerable Mid East Muslim nations and to realign them in accordance with the Neoconservative Agenda?

(Please remember that the new most imminent threats to the welfare of the Middle Eastern Muslims and Christians are not the ISMs of CommunISM or ZionISM. Rather, the new main ISM to dread is the new crusade of NeoconservatISM. Thanks for giving these awkward but serious words your most urgent consideration.

The most helpful and revealing book that I have encountered which exposes the horrible threat to both global Islam and especially to the Muslim Arab nations of the Middle East is America Alone.This book in paperback, written by two respected scholars, Stephen Halper and Jonathan Clarke, is available from Cambridge Press,

On page 11, the authors list three of the common themes of the Neoconservatives and I was shocked at their theme’s implications for the Muslim nations of the Middle East.

The following is my own loose paraphrase of the bottom line of what these three main themes are actually saying.

Three Main Themes of the Neoconservatives

Theme One: They hold a religiously based belief that the human condition is defined as a choice between Good and Evil.Therefore, they believe that the political character of a good nation is measured by the good nation’s willingness to, if need be, confront the evil nation militarily to force it to become good. (This theme in its context, explicitlyassumes that the U.S. is the good nation and that the U.S. has no intentionally unrevealed motives for resorting to military action against the “evil” nation.

Theme Two: Asserts that the fundamental determinant between good and evil states rests on the military power of the “good” state and its willingness to use that military power against the “evil” state.

Theme Three: Asserts that the primary focus on the Islamic Middle East and on Global Islam must be the principal theater for American overseas interests.

Before you take my word for the evil, destabilizing agenda that the U.S. Neoconservatives are manipulating the Republican Bush Administration to carry out in the Middle East, please read this book to determine if I am exaggerating or am actually understanding the imminent danger to the Islamic Middle East of the Neoconservative’s arrogant, evil agenda.

Though the book uses relatively academic language, the implications of what is stated regarding the Nocons militaristic agenda toward Middle Eastern Islam and Global Islam on only pages 11 through 14 is ominous, frightening and irrational. It is sufficient to drive one billion, two-hundred million Muslims to ALLAH in prayer to cry out for deliverance from the militaristic arrogance of the unapologetic agenda of the U.S. Neoconservatives who control the activities and agenda of the Bush foreign policy.

In view of the usually unpublicized and unacknowledged hostile view that the powerful and influential U.S. Neoconservatives have for Islam and Islamic nations, it is obvious that these targeted nations cannot afford the luxury of sitting on their hands waiting for the next move of their announced adversaries, the U.S. Neoconservatives. Therefore, since the message of the three combined themes makes it indisputably clear that the Islamic Middle East and global Islam will be the primary target of American military superiority, the choice is obvious. Arab Muslim nations must immediately activate a plan to deal effectively but non-violently with the expressed belligerent intentions of the superiorly weaponized U.S. Neoconservatives. So with ALLAH’s guidance, the leaders of Islamic nations must now implement an imaginative, comprehensive strategy which will more than compensate for the weapons and military superiority of the hostile, expressed intentions of the U.S. Neoconservatives.
