Iraq’s Bush University of International TerrorismA Unique TrainingCenterWhile the President smiles into the T.V. cameras to the American Public, he boasts about how the war and occupation in Iraq gives the U.S. an opportunity to kill terrorists in Iraq so they will not need to be killed in American cities. However, this gross distortion of reality by our simplistic, naïve President is a desperate attempt to put a positive spin on a tragic phenomenon. Amazingly, few outside of the terrorist networks, recognize the exceptionally ominous implications for both Middle Eastern nations and for vulnerable U.S. citizens of what is actually occurring regarding terrorism in Iraq. Instead of multitudes of terrorists being killed in Iraq, the reality is much more complicated with a dreadfully sinister potential. To put it bluntly, President Bush has virtually established his own University or training center in Iraq which radicalizes and trains terrorists so that they can later practice their terrorist’s skills throughout the Middle East. Regrettably, many of these newly trained terrorists ultimate goal is to finally use their newly acquired skills in the hated U.S. Though the term, “Bush University” is not used in their article, most of the ideas in this paper have their foundations in a February 8, 2005, Christian Science Monitor article. Bush University appears to function like this. Young, mostly Muslim men living in Middle Eastern nations such as Syria, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, Afghanistan, Sudan, Kuwait and Morroco, view television footage of Iraqi or Afghan Muslims being killed or tortured in either Iraq or Afghanistan. These men, partially due to their feeling so much love and compassion for their brother Muslims, feel pulled to Iraq like they are being drawn by a powerful magnet. While in Iraq, each terrorist in training is thoroughly taught such skills as how to make explosives as they work along side Iraqi insurgents. Whereas a young man in the U.S. has in the past joined the military in order to receive training for their future employment, young Middle Easterners strive to get into Iraq so that they can attend Bush University’s effective and respected School of Terrorism. So the initial motivation for the future terrorist is not as much to fight against Americans in Iraq, but to finally return from Iraq after their training either to fight against American interests in their own nations or against what they don’t like about their own governments. But the ultimate PHD for the eager pool of terrorists in training is to eventually participate in a terrorist attack against the despised U.S. So all of the tremendous amount of effort and money that is being poured into the U.S. Homeland Security, cannot be expected to totally counteract the effectiveness of Iraq’s relatively young, Bush University, which is world renowned for its specialty of training aspiring terrorists. So successful is Bush University in Iraq, that those who receive their training there are much more radical than the Arabs who years ago learned their terrorist trade in Afghanistan. According to the February 8, 2005, Christian Science Monitor, the media advisor to the Saudi Ambassador in England, Jamal Khashogi, states that the Arab fighters in Iraq are more violent and more dangerous than were the “Arab Afghans.” He points out that there were no kidnappings of relief workers or beheadings in Afghanistan. But he states the following about present day Saudis who survive Iraq. “But any Saudi who survives Iraq is a potential danger to Saudi Arabia. These men have blood on their hands and blood in their hearts.” Therefore, is it possible for the U.S. Administration and the American People to understand why many of the people of the Middle East are much less than thankful for U.S. efforts to set them all straight on how to govern their nation? back to "Pre-2005 Middle East Observations" page __________________________________________________________ _________________________________________ __________________________ _____________ |
