Osama Bin Laden’s Unintentioned Cruel Joke On Islam

In brief, Osama Bin Laden has inadvertently provided the needed rallying cry, "Remember 9/11" for the U.S. to begin its subtle, quiet crusade to begin to modify and influence the heart and soul of Islam, not just to permanently restructure and realign the nations of the Middle East. President F.D.R. needed "Remember Pearl Harbor" for the U.S. to enter the Second World War. The First President Bush needed, "Remember Iraq's Invasion of Kuwait" in order to initiate the First Gulf War. Now President George W. Bush needed Osama Bin Laden in order to begin spending tens of millions of dollars on training work shops in at least 9 key Middle Eastern nations in order to begin to modify and ultimately control what dozens of Islamic Political activists believe, and what they will influence many, many other influential Muslims to believe. (Please read the April 25, 2005 issue of "U.S. News and World Report" in order to satisfy your own justified skepticism of what I am convinced Allah wants brought from darkness and subtly to light and openness.

Inadvertently, one sincere but misguided man has played a cruel (nukta) joke on unsuspecting Muslims in the Middle East and potentially on the entire world.So bizarre is his cruel joke on sincere Muslims that even if the top comics of the world such as the Egyptian Arab, Adil Imam, the American Black, Chris Rock, the American White, Jay Leno and the entire staff of Saturday Night Live, all combined their tremendous talents to create one amazing joke, there is one thingthat they would fail to do. They could not create a joke that would be 50% as effective as the cruel joke that Osama Bin Laden has played on each and every member of the world wide Islamic Community. He has effectively caused the Bush Administration to begin its own belief modification program for Islam in nine poorer Muslim nations of the Middle East.

The Bush Administration’s frantic frenzy to manipulate all nations to follow it’s over-zealous lead in incarcerating, humiliating, torturing or killing all human beings suspected of terrorist acts that Mr. Bin Laden’s 911 attack has inspired, has created an enormous problem for Islam.  This problem for Islam is potentially more dangerous than it even is for his original two targets, the U.S. and certain powerful and wealthy Arab leaders. Consequently, the following previously unimaginable circumstance is now a reality.

Because of this one man’s plan gone wrong, Islam has itself become victim to the erratic principle of unintended consequences. It can be stated with conviction that this one misguided man has actually played a cruel, potentially irreparable joke on Islam.  He inadvertently paved the way for powerful and often arrogant U.S. State Department Officials to use their vast propaganda mechanisms to gain control over key aspects of the training of multiple dozens of strategically important Islamic political activists in the U.K., Morocco, Algeria, Nigeria, Turkey, Pakistan, Egypt, Jordan, Iraq and Indonesia. Also, several more nations are involved when you include training for Islamic political activist with funds illegally and unethically diverted from the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).

According to numerous revealing details published in the April 25, 2005 magazine, U.S. News and World Report, on a map in the article, the U.S. Government is quietly investing millions of dollars in each of these ten nations totaling 1.6 billion dollars.  The 1.6 billion amount also includes some Mosque repair, the building of a few Muslim elementary schools, school curriculum reform, the training of Mosque leaders and Islamic school teachers, mosque restoration, and the restoration of ancient Qurans and manuscripts in several other Muslim nations.It is significant that this possibly small sounding figure of 1.6 billion almost equals the entire U.S. budget of two billion dollars to the U.N. that U.S. leaders so vociferously complain about annually contributing to that vital world organization in its impossible role of trying to maintain peace throughout the entire world.

That this 1.6 billion dollars being used to nakedly manipulate Muslim nations is not shocking enough, it almost becomes insignificant when the following several billion dollars is also factored in. According to the same U.S. News and World Report article, USAID money of about ten billion dollars, which is designated for vitally needed development projects, is now destined for the Muslim world. But a significant proportion of this supposedly development money is also used for training Islamic political organizers and for sponsoring Islamic Think Tanks, etc… This USAID development money is in addition to the previously mentioned 1.6 billion dollars, the majority of which is being used for Islamic training workshops in the aforementioned nine Middle Eastern Muslim nations. (The figure of nine Muslim nations is arrived at when you subtract from the ten nations, Prime Minister Tony Blair’s financially disadvantaged U.K. where the U.S. is paying the bill for Think Tank training on moderate Islam as a free favor to his close friend Tony.) So the bottom line is that the U.S. is violating its own established U.S. principles of the separation of religion and state in order for the Bush Administration to be in control of more correctly training these strategic nine nation’s Islamic Political Activists.

Is it not especially ironic that President Bush’s Republican administration is forced to use its own deficit financing in order to pay for these strategic investments in modifying what these nine nations’ Islamic Activists believe and practice? What makes it especially bizarre is that it is U.S. tax payers who are paying to train Islamic Activists on virtually religious principles, since the U.S. government cannot dare to suggest what any American should believe regarding religious principles. But, apparently it is okay to influence the belief of a large cadre of Islamic Activists in Muslim countries.  Also, what makes the U.S. using its own U.S. taxpayer dollars to train these Middle Eastern Islamic activists even more bizarre are these significant circumstances.

This clever and comprehensive U.S. attempt to virtually hijack parts of Islam by investing million of dollars in influencing middle and lower level Islamic political activists, is being allowed and even encouraged by the high level Muslim leaders of other more prosperous nations which have independently wealthy leaders. Yet, these wealthy oil rich leaders have themselves invested billions of their own extremely large personal savings in U.S. banks. Significantly, their own personal money which is safely tucked away in U.S. savings accounts, is also earning the very interest that the Holy Quran emphatically forbids. Yet, their earning U.S. interest is occurring while the U.S. itself is going further in debt while training the poor nation’s Islamic Activists. But, should it not be these wealthy Muslim leaders who should have the primary responsibility to pay for the training of these Islamic Political Activists?

Perhaps the now partially Muslim Bush Administration would benefit from also paying for training workshops for upper level wealthy Muslim leaders in order to help them in three important areas. 1) U.S. sponsored workshops can help these wealthy Muslim leaders learn to more accurately obey the Quran regarding not earning interest, 2) The workshops could also teach these wealthy leaders to realize that it is their own responsibility to train Muslim political activists in poor Muslim nations. 3) Such workshops could also help all wealthy Muslim leaders become aware that it is extremely dangerous for the future of Islam to turn such vital Islamic training over to a U.S. Administration, which obviously has numerous counter productive hidden agendas.

So, as a result of attending U.S. sponsored workshops, these elite leaders would themselves become more inclined to pay for these strategic Muslim belief modification programs so that they themselves can show their Muslim people that they took pro-active steps to prevent the U.S. from hi-jacking important aspects of Islam. Or, is it only the U.S. Bush Administration, which is most fully aware of what an Islamic Activist truly ought to believe?

Though the title of this paper uses the word joke (nukta), there has been absolutely no humor in the tragedy of 911 or in the tragic wars and extreme suffering which are now occurring as a result of 911. Yet, it is an unfortunate reality that repeated clumsy attempts by the Republican Bush Administration to fight terrorism through making a priority of forcing Jeffersonian Democracy on the selective countries which it chooses, has turned into a cruel joke and horribly sad circus of cruel suffering and tragically bad judgment. However, it is no joke to our future Eternal Judge that so much wasted bloodshed and cruel suffering is being forcibly imposed on both sides of the ocean by this Administration’s bizarre and callous decisions.

The Bush Administration continues to labor under the crazy (majnoon) delusion that if it can pay for belief modification programs for sufficient number of political activists, the Middle East will rapidly adopt Jeffersonian Democracy and we will all live happily ever after.

Public Diplomacy

What the Bush Administration is subtly if not covertly spending millions and millions to accomplish under the innocent sounding category of Public Diplomacy should shock every citizen of the world, whether that person is Muslim or Christian or anything else. But the April 25, 2005 U.S. News and World Report article was written with the specific intention, as the magazine’s title emphatically implies, to be an honest report to all of the world’s citizens of what is happening in our broken, wounded world.

But for those who have faith in ALLAH, we know that it is only ALLAH and not the erratic, myopic President Bush who truly knows how to fix what is broken and how to heal what is wounded.So, may our prayers and calm, reasoned responses to the shocking payments for the training of Muslim Political Activists by the Bush Administration which are now occurring, be used by ALLAH to be vital parts of His own healing of the nations.

The Bush/Bolton Tragic Joke

President Bush’s cruel joke on the rest of the world’s nations by nominating John Bolton to be the U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. attempts to equal the effectiveness of the Bin Laden betrayal of Islam. But even though President Bush’s joke fails to reach the status of the Bin Laden betrayal of Islam, President Bush’s joke of a John Bolton nomination to the U.N. is a flagrantly ill-advised U.S. decision. In fact, this decision may have as tragic future consequences for the U.S. as the awful consequences set in motion by 911.

That our myopic President would nominate a man to this key UN position who has a contempt for anyone else’s truth, a hostility for other nations other than the U.S. and Israel, a compulsion to degrade the U.N. and a hostile arrogance towards any colleague he perceives as having less status than himself, is irrational and inconceivable. His one advantage is that President Bush and most Republic congresspersons consider him an accurate representative of Republican leadership and he has the kind of negative qualities that they think that other U.N. nations deserve. It appears not to be stretching reality that an appointment as U.N. ambassador of a person with the negative qualities and liabilities as Mr. Bolton is an emphatic message to a majority to our broken world’s nations. It is a clear message that the Bush Administration and the majority of congressional Republicans have an arrogant contempt for the majority of people on this earth who are not U.S. or Israeli citizens or who are not Republican.

The Keith “Ridiculeman” Factor

But in the midst of the darkness of the Republican dominated U.S. Senate stepped for an all too brief moment, a bright Republican light. His sincere, perceptive words revealed a man with a sensitive, informed conscience; a man who sees one important reality so clearly that it is though others do not realize that this reality exists. He understands how the U.S. will most certainly and even enthusiastically sow the seeds of its own demise by treating international relationships with contempt, if we appoint John Bolton to be the U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Senator Voinovich felt so strongly about this appointment being a watershed turning point in the rapid decline of the U.S. that he shed true tears while speaking on the floor of the Senate.

But I am afraid that what happened on MSNBC only hours after this courageous Republican spoke sincere words revealing prophetic insights, was all too typical of the response of U.S. Republicans. Keith Oberman of “Countdown”, crudely ridiculed this sincere Senator’s tears and voiced an arrogant suspicion of the political motives behind his open emotions. Mr. Oberman appears to be so infatuated with his own ability to ridicule that he is incapable of realizing what George V. Voinovich realizes; that it has potential devastating consequences for the future of the U.S., if our nation continues to be perceived as having a crude contempt for the other nations of our world. Furthermore, this one lonely Republican Senator seems to realize that most Republican government officials do not care if our contempt for other nations eventually destroys our own nation when we find ourselves helplessly alone and the victims of other nation’s justified rage at our arrogance.

But I do see a ray of hope that relates to the two V’s in Senator George V. Voinovich’s initials. I see both of his V’s standing for the ultimate victory of Humility over Arrogance which will finally visit U.S. leaders. Yet, it appears that a victory of humility over arrogance may not come to our nation until persons like the overconfident Mr. Oberman are standing in bread-lines because of the severe financial humbling that our arrogant nation will inevitably experience.

Blind Men Walking Off The Edge Of A Cliff

The cynical media saw in Senator Voinovich’s tears a calculating man who is attempting to manipulate. In contrast, ALLAH saw a man of compassion, courage, and insight. He saw a man of conviction who is attempting to warn powerful, arrogant leaders that their blind nation is about to walk off the edge of a cliff.

ALLAH also saw many Republican leaders who truly do not care how their own nation is perceived by other nations. He sees them mainly caring about the answers to three questions:

1.   Will I win my next election?

2.   Does my party have enough votes to continue our manipulative, deceptive crusade for family values legislation?

3.   Does my Republican Party have enough votes to block stem cell research?

But the fact that ALLAH sees that our nation is being perceived by other nations as arrogant and manipulative is not a serious concern to these leaders. So He knows that our calloused arrogance will finally succeed in bringing us down.

These senators appear determined to imitate the thirty-five men who received felony convictions for their attempted cover-up in the Watergate crime which occurred under President Nixon's amoral leadership. Though they say that they believe, they chose to sell their souls to a low level pagan ideal named "Blind Loyalty to a Blind President" instead of intelligently serving their nation and ALLAH. It is a reality that ALLAH rewards integrity but punishes sin. Significantly it is the Almighty's amazing Risen man from Bethlehem whom He has appointed to be the eternal judge of each of us and the certainty that this man will be our judge was confirmed by ALLAH when He raised him up from death.

As New York Senator Hillary Clinton has publicly implied, the present corruption in the Bush Administration exceeds the corruption of the Nixon Administration which drove that disgraced President from the White House. Significantly, the former Nixon Administration Counsel, John Dean, has written a shocking book making a similar charge as Senator Clinton.

Deep Throat Verses a Wicked City

Exceptionally relevant to the confirmation of the identity of our eternal judge is the recent confirmation of the true identity of the important Watergate character, "Deep Throat." The self-proclaimed experts on TV have been busy being exceptionally critical of this former second-in-charge of the FBI, Mark Felt, confirmed to be "Deep Throat". I am convinced that no matter whether this man's motives were totally pure, that his motives were mostly pure and patriotic. But this courageous man was caught in a wicked Washington D.C. context where an amoral, powerful President was willing to do anything he could in order to keep an unjust war going, any thing he could do to win an election, and anything he could to suppress information that would expose his Administration's serious law breaking and corruption.

In to this wicked context Allah sent two men, who were of the same ethnicity and religious heritage as their Messiah. But quite possibly Mr. Ellsberg and Mr. Felt still do not realize that they were specially chosen by the Almighty to serve His eternal purposes. But Daniel Ellsberg, famous for his association with the Pentagon papers and Mark Felt both had two qualities that were scarce in Washington D.C.; ethics and a tender conscience. To fault both men for appearing to violate ethical principles is to minimize the horrible wickedness that each of them was attempting to expose. But, because of ALLAH's ability to guide events, both men did their very important parts in temporarily saving our nation. But they were forced by circumstances to operate in a dark Washington D.C. pit, where the mass murder of supposedly insignificant Asians in the "Vietnam War" was considered necessary in order to supposedly protect the future security of our nation.

For those who would castigate Mark Felt for sneaking into the darkness of parking garages in order to secretly share his secrets with a young Washington Post reporter I would remind them of an event which the New Treatment (Injeel) records. This event also had to happen under the cover of night because of the rabid hostility of Jerusalem 's leaders toward ALLAH's own Messiah whom the Holy Quran calls "faultless." A prominent member of the Sanhedrin or today's U.S. senate, Nicodemus, had to seek truth from the Messiah at night because of the need to avoid being seen with this righteous man, by the hostile leadership of the city who hated him. As ALLAH seems to often raise up men of vision who will warn others of impending tragedy, recently He raised up in the U.S. Senate, a courageous George V. Voinovich. From my perspective, this courageous Senator warmed his fellow Senator of the wickedness and stupidity of spitting in the faces of other nations by sending to the UN a man who thinks other nations are worthless compared to the US and Israel. But too many Senators figuratively put their fingers in their ears and grind their teeth when they hear such warnings. They think that ALLAH does not notice their arrogance toward other nations and they refuse to realize that such arrogance will eventually lead to the down fall of their own nation. Callously, they have decided that if is okay to treat other nations like the majority of Jewish leaders treated the now Risen Messiah, two thousand years ago. They cleverly manipulated their Roman occupiers to find him guilty of imagined crimes so that they had a supposed excuse to crucify him.

Frequently today, ALLAH observes the arrogant U.S. being willing to find excuses to crucify other nations. But He warns us to stop this wickedness even though our wicked crusade is being led by a President who proudly proclaims that he is "born again." Yet, ALLAH will not allow this President to continue to ridicule our Messiah by his immoral policies, or to ridicule the wonderful spiritual concept of a new spiritual birth that the Messiah himself explained to the truth seeking Nicodemus in the darkness of night. Because of the suppressive wickedness that was then taking place in that dark city of Jerusalem , it was necessary that the meeting be held under the cover of darkness to protect anonymity. So, perhaps the similarities between the darkness of Jerusalem of that time and the darkness in Washington D.C. at the time of the Nixon suppression of truth, there is a far out chance of an enormous historical coincidence. Would it not be amazing if the exact dark location where the Faultless Messiah and the truth seeking Nicodemus had their secret talk, is now the location of a dimly lit parking garage-a garage quite similar to the ones where the truth seeking Bob Woodward and the high ranking FBI agent, were forced to hold their secret talks about hidden corruption, which still permeates our nation's capital?
