Two Tragic Men - One Tragic Day

The Eternal Judgment of One U.S. President

If one depressed, suicidal man may deserve the death penalty for being responsible for the deaths of eleven innocent train passengers in California, what penalty does the U.S. President deserve?  He is the main man responsible for the deaths of 37 U.S. servicemen in Iraq on the same day as the train victims died, January 26.  The bloodiest day for America in Iraq was less than one week after the proud U.S. President made multiple freedom promises in his second grandiose inauguration speech. 

The following are five reasons why I am personally convinced that the pompous U.S. President will be considered by ALLAH/GOD to be more guilty for his crimes that resulted in 37 deaths on January 26 than will be the depressed, suicidal 25 year old California father, who caused eleven needless deaths on the same day.

Reason One:

The action of Juan Alvarez, which directly led to the eleven California deaths, was a spur of the moment decision without realistic forethought concerning the potential disastrous and lethal consequences of his selfish choice.

In stark contrast, it was thoughtful consideration regarding a war of choice and a subsequent bloody occupation which led to the deaths of 37 U.S. military personnel on that same dark day.  However, previous to that dreadful day, the President’s thoughtful consideration had also led to well over 100,000 innocent Iraqi civilian deaths, as well as, to over 1,300 deaths of other U.S. military personnel.  These deaths were all in addition to the many deaths of other nationalities.  But none of these violent deaths could be traced to spur of the moment decisions.  All were a result of well thought out presidential policies and those making those policies should have been totally aware of their potential blood soaked consequences.

Reason Two:

The 25 year old unintentionally caused the eleven violent deaths while in a state of severe distress caused by the belief that he was being denied the right to visit his own children.

The U.S. President was not only in no distress because of his own children, but is even now seeming to suffer very minimal distress regarding the many violent deaths and multiple disabling and disfiguring injuries that he has brought to not only American parents, but also to multiple Iraqi parents and to many parents from other nations.

Reason Three:

The 25 year old showed great remorse when he was informed about how his aborted attempted suicide had brought death and suffering to so many.

In vivid contrast to the sincere remorse of the 25 year old, the U.S. President, on the very day of the tragic deaths of the 37 courageous U.S. service personnel in Iraq, had the calloused audacity to publicly boast that the U.S. is on the “right course”.  He even further boasted on the same day that the recent elections in Palestine and Afghanistan and the upcoming elections in Iraq are proof of the success of his foreign policy. 

Reason Four:

The 25 year old had the integrity to acknowledge his own total responsibility for all of the tragedy that he caused.

In vivid contrast, the supposedly mature U.S. President will acknowledge no responsibility for the multitude of tragic deaths of either Iraqis, Americans or any other nationalities that have been killed.  According to the President, all tragic deaths in Iraq are due to Iraq’s supposed but unproven links to Al Qaeda, and Iraqi’s WMD threat and so all deaths in Iraq are a result of America’s responsible attempts to prevent potential Iraqi WMD attacks and/or Iraqi terrorist attacks against the U.S.  Fantastically, he attempts to convince both himself and an all too gullible American public that preserving the future prosperity of the U.S. by attempting to guarantee our nation’s continued ready access to relatively cheap Persian Gulf oil, has absolutely no link to the U.S. invading and occupying Iraq and to our bloody attempts to help Iraq become a stable Democracy.

Reason Five:

If Juan Alvarez were now asked if there could have been a better way for him to have dealt with his own personal tragedy of not being able to see his children than by parking his SUV on busy railroad tracks, he would undoubtedly admit that by causing so many innocent people to die, he was exceptionally self centered, uncreative and even homicidal in how he chose to deal with his personal depression. So he would definitely acknowledge that he could have found a better way.

It exposes a depressing contrast in attitudes when the defiant U.S. President is asked a similar question about other possible options rather than a bloody pre-emptive war in Iraq.  Amazingly, he is just as vehement in justifying an even bloodier occupation in order to produce the very thin veneer of a show-case, shallow democracy.  When faced with such questions, he is disgustingly adamant about how he led the patient U.S. government to take all the proper steps to deal with the imminent, lethal threat posed to the safety and security of the U.S. by Iraqi terrorism and Iraqi weapons of mass destruction. 

Amazingly, he is such a slick “snake oil” salesman that he has convinced over 50% of U.S. voters that he is a man of integrity and that he has a deep concern for the sacredness of human life.  In fact, it appears that he is willing to blaspheme the Messiah who died and rose again and who will be the future Judge of all of us, by strongly implying that the Risen Messiah actually has led him to guide the U.S. into orchestrating the current blood-bath in Iraq in order to rid the world of terrorism.  Yet, most experts who are not zealous Bush followers are in general agreement that this naïve President of the U.S. is a wonderful answer to the prayers of terrorist leaders.  They have prayed for a U.S. President, who, by his venomous rhetoric and precipitous actions would multiply their numbers by attracting tens of thousands to increase their hate for the U.S. and to want to join in acts of terrorism.

So I sincerely ask for your opinion?  Who do you believe the One Whom ALLAH/GOD has appointed to be the all knowing Judge of all of the Living and the Dead, will find to be more guilty?  Will it be the remorseful, repentant 25 year old?  Or will it be the self-proclaimed, infallible President of the U.S., who, under the pretense of bringing freedom to the Muslims and some Christians of the Middle East, is trying to guarantee a continued high standard of living for certain U.S. citizens by desperately trying to assure the future smooth flow of relatively inexpensive Arab oil?

Regarding the certainty of future Judgment for even the military and philosophical/intellectual communities of each and every nation by the man whom ALLAH/GOD has appointed as Eternal Judge, please see the Acts: 10:42, 43, The Acts: 17:31 and AL Fajr 89:22. 

The Acts: 10:42, 43 – The context of these two verses is where the Apostle Butros/Peter was answering a question from a devout Roman military officer who had been instructed by God to invite Butros to speak in his home.  Significantly, this Roman Military leader had asked Butros to tell him what Jesus/Isa had commanded the first disciples to tell others.  His reply to this important question was:

“He commanded us to preach to the people and to testify that he (Isa) is the one whom GOD has appointed to be the Judge of the living and the dead.  All the prophets testify about him that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name.”

 The Acts: 17:31 The context of this key verse about our personal judgment is when the former radical Rabbi Saul who later became the Christian, Apostle Paul, was explaining to Greek Athenian philosophers in an open meeting, why GOD/ALLAH considered it necessary for them to clean up their attitudes and activities.

“For He has set a day when He will judge the world with justice by the man He has appointed.  He has given proof of this to all men by raising him from the dead.” 

Al-Fajr/ The Dawn – 89:22 This verse from the Holy Quran is in a chapter that also discusses Judgment.  There are two strong indications that the term “Lord,” as used in this Quranic verse, refers to the Messiah Isa/ Jesus as coming to Judge and is not referring to ALLAH as coming.  This is because Islamic Theologians nearly unanimously agree that ALLAH entirely fills the universe and therefore it is not appropriate to speak of ALLAH as moving from place to place or as “coming” as this verse states. So this verse is teaching that it is the Messiah/ Lord who is coming to be our Judge.  The second reason we can know that this verse is referring to Isa/Jesus when it speaks of Lord is that there is a very similar verse in the New Testament book of Jude which makes it clear that the Lord being spoken of as coming as Judge to Judge is Jesus/Isa.

“And your Lord comes with the angels in rows” Al-Fajr 89:22

It is my conviction that on the basis of the words publicly spoken by the President and especially because of his evil choice to begin a cruel, pre-emptive, virtually unilateral war and occupation against the Iraqi people who did not even issue a threat against the U.S., the President is much more guilty than the California man.  Also, in view of the deceit involved in the President’s supposed unselfish, altruistic motivation in pushing Iraq toward democracy, even though he uses violence, coercion, intimidation and guile, his guilt is multiplied.   And he does all of this while taking a great risk of making the situation in Iraq much worse rather than better.  So how could it possibly be that our future Judge, the Messiah Isa/ Jesus will not find the U.S. President much more guilty than the very guilty man in California?

Furthermore, it is quite relevant to ask this question: Who will the mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, wives, husbands, children and friends of those who were violently killed as a result of the actions of one of these two tragic men, consider more guilty?  Will it be those who lost their loved ones as a result of a tragic President using guile, deceit and manipulation by fear, under the cover of freedom for the oppressed, who they will find most guilty?  Yes, why would it not be the man, who, in order to try and guarantee a continued high standard of living for many Americans, is so willing to sacrifice the precious blood of their children as well as the precious blood of such a vast multitude of others?

Or, could those close to the eleven California train victims conceivably find the more guilty person to be the tragic, desperate, suicidal, but now remorseful young father?

The Ultimate Question

But the end of the matter is not what any person on this earth thinks.  Rather, the ultimate question is this?  For whom will it be more tolerable on the Day appointed by ALLAH to be the Day of Judgment?  For the man in California?  Or, will it be more tolerable on Judgment Day for the man, who for eight pivotal and tragic years lived in a place that was once upon a time known throughout the world as the “White House”?

The David Versus Goliath Syndrome

Further adding to this President’s overwhelming guilt which is being observed by his Risen Messiah who will soon be his eternal Judge, is this reality.  Due to this President’s extraordinary lack of wisdom, he has greatly increased rather than decreased the number of young men throughout the world and especially in the Middle East, who have committed themselves to acts of terrorism especially against American interests.  In a manner of speaking, it is this U.S. President who has become the Patron Saint for the massive numbers of disillusioned, unemployed youth of the Middle East.  Before this strange, arrogant man had become the U.S. president, most of these young men had virtually no hope of being involved in anything truly meaningful.  But this generous U.S. President has replaced their hopefulness with a vibrant new hope.  He has actually replaced meaninglessness with true meaning.  He has enthusiastically invited them to find meaning by becoming intimately involved in the exciting David versus Goliath Syndrome.  As young, hopeless men under thirty with a minimum of personal leverage, this President has provided them with a once in a life time exciting opportunity to be involved in a calling that is pregnant with meaning.  Whereas the youthful Daoud/David slaying the mighty Philistine Giant, Goliath, become his spring board to fame and success, these young men are being offered by the generous President a strikingly similar opportunity.  By his inflammatory rhetoric and his aggressive, “kill as many as you can and torture the rest” policies, he has virtually recruited these young men to dedicate their young lives to wounding and possibly even slaying the hungry, aggressive, imperialistic GIANT, the United States of America.

For Americans who actually think that the Bush Administration will succeed in reducing the number of Middle Eastern young men and even young women who wish to commit acts of terrorism against U.S. interests by killing or imprisoning as many as possible, they need to consider the alarming implications of these statistics contained in the January 28, 05, Christian Science Monitor.  In contrast to 20% of Americans being 14 years old or younger, 40% of Iraqis are 14 or younger.  Then, when you realize the bleak future that awaits virtually  twice the percentage of young people to older that exists in the Mid East compared with the U.S., you must reach this bleak, ominous conclusion.  The very long line of enthusiastic candidates for terrorist acts will not get shorter in the foreseeable future.  But this is just the opposite for the current candidates to join the Marines in the U.S.  In contrast to the future shortage of U.S. military recruits, the number of those young Middle Easterners who are eager to find meaning in being part of organized or unorganized groups which are dedicated to attempting to maim or even kill the arrogant GIANT who boasts to the world of being both perfect and invincible, will become longer and longer.  Therefore, this short-sighted former President will soon be forced to answer for his inadvertent as well as his purposeful attempts to provoke young men to dedicate their lives to committing acts of terrorism against both Americans and against U.S. interests and against their own governments which have close associations with the U.S.  But at his future awesome Judgment, the President will not have his speech writers to help him try to manipulate the mind of his insightful Risen Messiah who will be his eternal Judge, the way these speech writers manipulate the minds of many gullible Republican voters.

Lofty – Naive –Rhetoric

Through the speech writers promise us that the President’s policies will soon end tyranny throughout the world by ushering in universal freedom, words are much cheaper than results.  To sincerely believe that a shallow democracy in Iraq and one highly militarized Election Day, will actually heal the hearts and minds of multitudes of disillusioned, unemployed Middle Eastern youth of their deep resentment and even hatred of the U.S., is to totally live and breathe unreality.

Shallow U.S. rhetoric will not heal the hearts of young Middle Easterners who wish to bring terror to the U.S.   Neither the institution of Christianity nor U.S. Christianity will heal hearts.  Marxism or free-trade will not heal their hearts of hate.  Democracy, though it is worshipped and idolized by many as being the cure-all for problems within nations and between nations, will not  be the solution that the U.S. is dangerously betting that it will be.  Though democracy has proven to be an effective and enduring form of government, it has not been effective in healing wounded hearts.  So it will not be democracy which will heal the angry minds which plan desperate acts of terrorism.

ALLAH’s Messiah’s Great Kingdom

Though the President’s speech writers declare that freedom is the answer to tyranny, even freedom does not heal wounded hearts.  Nevertheless, there is a force beyond freedom which can and does heal hearts of hate.  That liberating force is not found in a religion but it is found in a relationship with ALLAH’s Risen Messiah.

By ALLAH’s Spirit, ALLAH’s Messiah defeated his own violent death by walking out of his tomb on the third day.

By ALLAH’s Spirit, ALLAH’s Messiah also defeated the violent hatred of the Jewish religious establishment which intended to keep him dead forever.

By ALLAH’s Spirit, ALLAH’s Messiah defeated the mighty Imperial Roman occupying force who were manipulated to crucify him but were also manipulated to guard his dead body as it lay lifeless in a borrowed tomb.  But the strength of the mighty Roman imperial power was exposed as weakness when it came into contact with the power of the Living ALLAH.  The Messiah, through ALLAH’s Powerful Spirit, vigorously walked out of his guarded tomb. 

By ALLAH’s Spirit, ALLAH’s Messiah also totally defeated the evil power of Shitaan/Satin who tried to corrupt him.

By ALLAH’s Spirit, ALLAH’s Messiah gave sight to those born blind, brought healing to the sick, and gave hope to the hopeless.

His power, his integrity, his compassion and his resurrection are revealed in the Holy Quran when the Quran is correctly understood.  But ALLAH’s Messiah is most totally revealed in the New Testament which, significantly, the Quran repeatedly confirms.  Therefore, this writer is 100% convinced that it will be ALLAH’s Risen Messiah who will relatively soon bring unprecedented healing to those who hate America and too many whose lives are consumed by hate.  Yes, millions who live in the wounded, exploited Middle East shall be healed, not by freedom, but by ALLAH’s Risen Messiah.

No, it will not be the hope provided by struggling, U.S. supported democracies that will bring this healing.  Nor will the healing of hearts and minds come as a result of the CIA or terrorists or AL Qaeda or any one else undermining or over-throwing present governments.  These want-to-be destroyers obvious intent will be to produce chaos so that the chaos can be replaced by terrorist supported strong men or by Western imposed democracies.

This wondrous healing will come when courageous groups in multitudes of mosques finally realize that the Merciful ALLAH has already provided the healer of hearts and nations.   Significantly, they can observe that the decline of the U.S. can be directly linked to its leaders giving only lip service to the Risen Messiah, but in reality, trusting in using weapons to kill rather than trusting in ALLAH’s Risen Messiah to heal relationships and to guide them during wholesome diplomacy.  When hundreds of significant Muslim groups realize the power of the Messiah whom ALLAH has provided for them, a mighty wave of the healing of hearts and minds will sweep through the communities of the Middle East like a wild fire sweeps through a dry forest.  Then partial darkness will turn to dawning.  Then, dawning will turn to noon day light.  Then, ALLAH’s Messiah’s great Kingdom shall permeate the Middle East; a Kingdom of Love; a Kingdom of Justice; a Kingdom of Hope; a Kingdom of Forgiveness; a Kingdom of Peace and a Kingdom of Light.

Summary - The President’s Judgment

Especially will our President receive Judgment for his extraordinary willingness to increase the potential for future acts of dreadful terrorism against the United States and its people as well as against other nations and their people.  He effectively accomplishes this by flagrantly inspiring multitudes of Middle Eastern young men to intensely despise this nation and it’s national interests and to also despise the national interests of their own nations which support the U.S.
