Is It Better To Cut Off Ears Or To Heal Them?

As a gang of religious police and others armed with swords and clubs came to arrest Allah's unarmed Messiah his most impulsive disciple, Peter, whipped out his own sword and sliced off the right ear of one member of the arresting gang. I do realize it may at first seem ridiculous to consider a possibility that is out of tune with reality. Nevertheless, it is instructive to take note of a major contrast.

It is openly acknowledged that saving murdered victims' ears to put on necklaces was the depraved practice of a highly trained special Army unit from a supposed Christian nation which was trying to save a supposedly backward South East Asian nation from being over-run by the evils of godless Communism. The stark contrast is that as the Messiah compassionately re-attached the severed ear of wounded mob member who was arresting him, not for one second did it enter his mind to suggest to Peter that he should keep the man's ear so that it could be displayed as depraved sign of superiority for a future necklace.In total contrast to such depraved activity, the sinless Messiah gave to all of us his relevant but almost totally ignored, ominous warning: "Those who live by the sword will die by the sword".

The US is now the leading nation in living by the sword. We justify this world threatening activity by claiming that it is necessary in order to solve international problems so that the US can usher in peaceful democracies to the world's less civil, undemocratic nations. Despite our bizarre conviction that peace can be forced on the world through the sword by killing enough "bad" people along with some good people, the Messiah's wise warning contains a universal truism that has revealed its validity throughout recorded history. Therefore, it logically follows that if America continues to live by the sword, some type of lethal consequences face out entire nation if the Messiah's dire warning carries any validity. Even if there were not other significant reasons for a mortal wound to be inflicted on our nations other than our flagrant, excessive, arrogant love affair with killer weapons, out trampling on wisdom by continuing in this immortal, self-destructive love affair with killer weapons would be enough to bring Allah's fearful judgment upon us.

Consequently, for every last American who is willing to recognize the dreadful reality of potential imminent judgment facing our nation, it is obviously imperative that these persons make the following serious activity a sincere priority. We must plead and pray that the following relevant and ominous prophetic about the destiny of the overly weaponized US. So we must constantly petition Allah that US leaders will immediately direct out nation away from our weapon madness because it may already be too late. Just as out nation has constantly ignored the dire warning from out now Risen Messiah, we have also turned our back on the sincere warnings of no less an authority on the dangers of an overly weaponized nation than former General and US President Dwight D. "Ike" Eisenhower. It was two centuries ago that with great concern he warned out people and leaders of the ominous consequences of our over emphasis on weapons that he was even then observing.

The following three Prophecies by Prophet Ezekiel, Prophet Jonah and Prophet Obadiah should cause every American to fear and tremble, each of their ominous prophecies has direct relevance to out current vulnerable, sinful and rebellious condition before Allah. And it is Allah who has committed all judgment to the man who was once crucified for his openly confronting a calloused Israeli leadership for the way they flagrantly ignored the requirements of His God and out God.

"All the trees of the field will know that I the Lord bring down the tall tree and make the low tree grow tall; I dry up the green tree and make the dry tree flourish".

"I the Lord have spoken and I will do it." (Ezekiel 17:24)

"Those who cling to worthless idols forfeit the grace that could be theirs".

A delayed proclamation of enlightenment cried out in desperate prayer by the rebelling Prophet Jonah while he was in the belly of a huge fish deep in the sea. He had put himself in this hopeless predicament by his racist refusal to offer non Jewish Iraqi people an opportunity to repent of their rebellion against God so that their entire city of Nineveh would not suffer God's severe judgment for their personal wickedness. But, through Allah's direct intervention they did repent and their city was saved from certain judgment.

But it is not only the calloused, violence prone US which will ultimately pay a heavy price for worshipping the ugly idol of killer weapons whish we arrogantly place upon our bloody alter of violence.

It is every group and nation whish has exactly bloody violence to a lofty status above Allah Himself which will suffer severe judgment. This judgment will visit them no matter how loudly they scream their lies to the victims, to the world and to themselves that they serve Allah when they commit their depraved crimes of bloody violence.

"The day of the Lord is near for all nations, as you have done, it will be done to you; your deeds will return upon your own head". (The vision of Obadiah 15)
