A Beautiful Free Press Exposes Ugly Military Murders

President Bush made a somewhat truthful public statement about Americans a few months ago.He said that Americans are a compassionate people.Yes, millions and millions of Americans are indeed quite compassionate.There have also been times when U.S. government policies have contained a great deal of compassion, such as when the U.S. spent billions of dollars helping Post War Europe recover after the 2^nd world war through the U.S. Marshall Plan.

Nevertheless, war and the ravages of war can turn ordinarily compassionate people into exceptionally savage human beings. Former compassionate persons, under the pressures of war will do despicable acts that are virtually incomprehensible in the depth of humanity that they reveal.

For instance, in the Hebrew Scriptures, the Prophet Jeremiah describes in detail the guilt of the Hebrew people in rebelling against God which caused God to send the Babylonians against them to be the Hammer of God to punish them. But the spiritual mistakes that the Hebrew people had made in forsaking God and worshipping gods other than the true God, could appear to the unspiritual observer as no big deal.But to the One True God, and to His faithful servant, the Prophet Jeremiah, it was a really big deal which deserved the most severe punishment.So the mighty Army of King Nebuchadnezzer was sent to lay a cruel siege against Jerusalem.What had began as forsaking their allegiance to ALLAH ultimately led to an extreme lowering of their standards of morality.

The Prophet Jeremiah courageously exposes the depraved behavior of their religious apparatus when he speaks of both the Prophets and the Priests taking their wickedness into God’s Holy Temple.He also writes about the Prophets committing adultery, living a lie and strengthening the hands of whomever was doing evil.Jeremiah reveals that this degenerate leadership by false, want-to-be prophets led to the direct descendants of those whom ALLAH had miraculously brought out of the land of Egypt to enter into evil building projects.They actually created what were called high places for the explicit depraved purpose of ruthlessly sacrificing the precious lives of their very own sons and daughters to a false god named Molech.

Then, when these same Hebrew people were being punished by ALLAH for such wickedness, ALLAH sent the armies of the Babylonian King Nebuchadnezzar to lay siege on their supposedly holy city of Jerusalem.Due to the siege, they even committed more perverse crimes.

In his short book of Lamentations, Jeremiah the Prophet twice speaks about compassionate women cooking their own children so that they could eat them.The Prophet Ezekiel(Hezekiel), who himself had been carried into captivity in Babylon, wrote about the horrible consequences of the Hebrews worshipping detestable idols after they dumped their allegiance to ALLAH.Incomprehensible depravity occurred.Fathers would experience such excruciating hunger that they ate their own children. Possibly even more incomprehensible, it is recorded by the Prophet Ezekiel that desperate hunger drove children to even eat their own fathers.

(For those brainwashed or deliberately deceived Muslims who continue to incorrectly insist that the Jews have deceptively changed their own Scriptures, they must acknowledge this one quite obvious reality. If the Jews had indeed modified their own Scriptures, they most certainly would have removed those gross acts of cannibalism so emphatically spoken of as being practiced by their Hebrew ancestors.This is in addition to their need to eliminate the vivid references by the Prophet Jeremiah to their ancestors’ degenerate practice of openly sacrificing the lives of their own precious children.)

The Prophet Ezekiel uses these shocking words to portray ALLAH’s severe condemnation of the depraved Jewish practice of their human sacrifice of their own children.

“And you took your sons and daughters whom you bore to me and sacrificed them as food to the idols.Was your prostitution not enough?You slaughtered my children and sacrificed them to the idols.In all your detestable practices and your prostitution you did not remember the days of your youth when you were naked and bare, kicking about in your blood.”Ezekiel 16: 20-22

Parallels with Vietnam

Entire books have been written about the causes of the Vietnam War.Obviously, in a few sentences I will not do justice to the reasons for this cruel, bloody war.However, I will suggest one major root cause which previously has not received attention. But, before I speak of adultery as being a major factor in the U.S. becoming involved in the Vietnam War, I will briefly comment on the Judea/ Christian Scriptures perspective on adultery.

These Scriptures speak of two types of adultery.The most common way that adultery is spoken of is when a married person has sexual relations with another person who is either married or not married but who is not the other person’s marriage partner.

The second type of adultery spoken of in the Scriptures is based on the assumption that it is ALLAH’s will that we each be in a figurative marriage relationship with God.Consequently, when we replace our primary relationship with God with a more intimate relationships with some other entity, then we have figuratively committed adultery.That is, when we turn to man invented idols and give those idols our main affection instead of reserving our primary affection and commitment for the One True ALLAH, the Prophets speak of us as having committed adultery.The term adultery is considered by the Prophets to apply to these circumstances because we have clearly violated our intimate spiritual relationship with the Living ALLAH.

In the case of the Hebrew people in Jeremiah’s time, their leaders’ were involved in both types of adultery.In the case of the President of the U.S at the beginning of the U.S.-Vietnam involvement, it appears that our President was also involved in both types of adultery, with his Spiritual adultery being even more significant and costly for his people than his physical adultery.

So what was the spiritual adultery in which the Kennedy Administration was initially involved?In this highly politicized circumstance, the U.S. Administration and the Pentagon became obsessed with worshipping its single minded conclusion that the domino theory would reveal how all of South East Asia would eventually fall to the godless Communist political ideology.But the U.S. thought that they could prevent this fall from occurring by protecting South Vietnam from this dreaded tidal wave of pernicious ideology that was about to overwhelm South Vietnam from the North.

It is necessary to keep in perspective that the U.S. did not win the war in Vietnam, that South Vietnam did become Communist, and despite the fact that the U.S. spilled so much precious and innocent blood fighting against the inevitability of a united communist Vietnam we ended up establishing diplomatic relations with a united Communist Vietnam on July 11, 1995. So our idol of the domino theory was finally thrown in the garbage along with our also throwing God on that garbage heap.That is, America’s primary relationship with and dependence on ALLAH was virtually put in the garbage.For that is an appropriate description of what actually occurs when a nation chooses to seriously depart from the One Living God.Yes, we did forsake ALLAH when we effectively severed ourselves from His insight, His direction and His guidance when we foolishly gave Him our backs rather than our faces.

We turned from Him to worship our own man made Holy Trinity.We turned from God to worship the Domino theory rather than God.We turned from God so we could sacrifice all our civilized standards of morality on the altar of anti communism.We turned from God so we could worship our own technological killer weapons as our ultimate means to solve complex international conflicts.

Our naïve, myopic leaders successfully convinced themselves that a child’s trick with dominos accurately portrayed what would occur in South East Asia if the U.S. did not strengthen the government and military of non-communist South Vietnam so that it would not be absorbed or over-run by the “godless,” Communist government of North Vietnam. The domino theory is based upon what most of us have either observed or participated in doing with dominoes. Dominoes are carefully lined up on a flat surface, one behind the other.Then, when the first domino is knocked over, it knocks over the second and the second knocks over the third until all of the dominos are down.So it was believed that when South Vietnam fell to communism, the surrounding countries would also fall until all of strategically valuable South East Asia had fallen to Communism.

Significantly, it was both the narrow minded over simplification of the Communist threat combined with a self righteous disgust for “godless” Communist China who is now sort of our ally, which became one of the idols with which the U.S. government chose to commit immoral adultery. If the U.S. had not had such a strong hate and paralyzing fear of the communist threat which was represented by Communist China then (though now we have strong diplomatic ties with still “godless” Communist China) the U.S. could have taken the initiative in establishing mutually beneficial diplomatic relations with that nation.If that would have been done in a context of respect without typical U.S. arrogance, it is quite probable that Communist China could have and would have interceded in behalf of the U.S. and quieted the Communist North Vietnam threat to non Communist South Vietnam. Then, the whole North Vietnamese threat to the South Vietnamese would have been ameliorated so that the whole bloody, ugly and costly Vietnam war could have and would have been avoided.

So our whole virulent, tunnel vision, hysterical, disproportional, anti-communism stance virtually took on a life of its own and become an idol for our administration to worship as a sort of living entity with whom we could commit adultery.So our stubborn, strident and self-destructive refusal to enter into constructive, mutually beneficial, diplomatic relations with Communist China due to our fierce, often irrational anti-communist position directly caused us to lose a realistic opportunity to have Communist China make use of its considerable leverage to influence communist North Vietnam to stop the infiltration of non communist South Vietnam. Speaking as a cynic, why would we take such a drastic political risk through lowering our ethical standards by a potential recognition of the right that the Chinese had to have chosen their own form of government even though that choice was communism?We considered that our recognition of the right of the Chinese to have chosen their own form of government was too great a risk in light of our conviction that through a mixture of the weapons of America and the blood of Americans we ourselves could prevent the spread of Communism throughout South East Asia.So we were convinced that we ourselves could successfully prevent South Vietnam from falling to North Vietnam without the assistance of “godless” Communist China and so would avoid becoming contaminated through our dealings with a Communist “outlaw” nation.

To have made a decision to seek practical assistance from China would have involved realistic thinking that would have had a combination of powerful self interest factors stacked against it.In the complicated bureaucracy of the Pentagon and Washington D.C. with its democratically elected officials who want to be re-elected and the Pentagon where Military officers control their different jealousy guarded spheres of influence, it is very difficult to arrive at practical solutions to complex problems because of the competing financial interests and individual ego needs which are screaming to be fulfilled.So there are many powerful people who have a strong vested interest in making virtually everything regarding war or potential war as complex and as difficult as possible.Consequently, any decision which would have prevented the trigger happy people at the Pentagon from using their superior weapons on the “backward” Vietnamese would have been virtually intolerable to Pentagon self-interests.Most personnel at the Pentagon appear to be committed to a deeply ingrained belief that it is much more reasonable to shoot first – have war first – and to consider the long range consequences later. If multitudes of innocent people must die, that is just the normal cost of securing peace for the world.They will also say that it is an acceptable price for preserving the “American Dream” of eat, drink and be merry (which includes watching exhorbantly overpaid U.S. professional athletes and to watch the movies of excessively wealthy American movie stars.Of course the American dream which President Bush so often speaks of may be watching Fox’s “war stories” narrated by convicted Watergate celebrity, Colonel Oliver North.This program dramatizes the glories of American victories in war and makes war very appealing for the American and denigrates the enemy.)

Yet, despite the complex problems including getting involved in unnecessary wars which are partially a result of the politicians struggle in a democracy to get elected and re-elected, the U.S. President was recently made a major Middle East policy speech which featured America’s insistence on a quick transition in all the Middle East to Democracy.It is significant, but it may be only a coincidence that a major, savage suicide bombing in Riyadh Saudi Arabia occurred less than a week after the U.S. President made his insensitive democracy demands on the sovereign nations of the Middle East.

The third member of the trinity of evil idols with which the U.S. government chose to have an adulterous and idolatrous relationship, is with the U.S. weapons industry.This quite verbal and powerful idol preaches to its U.S. worshippers that if sufficient foreign and American blood is mixed with the latest technologically advanced killer weapons, this toxic medicine will finally magically heal all international conflicts.

Thus, the prolonged bloody Vietnam war was opted for because myopic, elitist U.S. leaders made a not so objective choice to not aggressively pursue mutually respectful, mutually beneficial diplomatic negotiations with ‘godless’ Communist China. This myopic wrong choice was made even though the opposite choice could have prevented the whole drawn out Vietnam massacre.Again, it is appropriate to remind ourselves that China like Vietnam now remains Communist, even though we have now decided to have full diplomatic relations with Communist China as we also have now chosen to have full diplomatic relations with Communist Vietnam. Regrettably, however, because educated men wearing either neckties or military decorations chose to commit adultery with three illicit partners, instead of following the straight path of the Living ALLAH, a prolonged, destructive conflagration took place which snuffed out the lives of tens of thousands of innocent victims.It is not an exaggeration to say that if the U.S. had chosen the path of ALLAH which exalts compassion and reasonable, diplomacy and morality and is staunchly against the exaltation of man made theories, and against trust in weapons and against an arrogant disrespect for life, that much horrible suffering and slaughter for both sides would have been avoided.

To what depth of depravity did the U.S. government commitment to an idolatrous, adulterous affair with its three lovers lead to in Vietnam?Such godless idolatry led to multiple depraved U.S. activities.For instance, many Americans are familiar with the Pentagon papers, the explosive papers which revealed so much self-incriminating information which the Nixon Administration so viciously fought to suppress.These papers exposed how the U.S. public was being told multiple lies regarding our exceptionally depraved behavior toward Vietnamese’s civilians. Despite the suppression of so much unpleasant truth about Vietnam, the My Lai Massacre, where over five hundred Vietnamese civilians were ruthlessly murdered by American service men, is known about by most older Americans.Regretfully, this shameful massacre has also been forgotten by most Americans. Additionally, U.S. citizens born before 1955 know that President Lyndon Johnson flagrantly lied to congress, to his own administration and to the American people about certain events in Vietnam in order to justify his increased expenditures and additional efforts to win the Vietnam war.

Despite familiarity with so many gruesome details of this war by the American Public, what I read in the Seattle Times on Sunday, October 19, 2003, revealed especially degenerate crimes against humanity by U.S. soldiers.Credit for making this depraved revelation available must go to especially one former American soldier who was a member of the Tiger Force unit of the 101^st Airborne Divison who was outraged by the cold-blooded murders and other atrocities committed by his special U.S. Army unit. Yet, it is necessary to keep in mind that quite probably this depravity of the despicable crimes against Vietnamese civilians would not have occurred if the foundation had not been laid by the commission of the three major episodes of adulterous idolatries by the U.S. Administration.

Admittedly, to most Americans there is absolutely nothing wrong with these three perspectives which I identify as adulterous with evil choices.Most Americans would consider me quite off base for being convinced that anything is immoral or repulsive to ALLAH about these three “political priorities.”They would say that a belief in the credibility of the domino theory, a refusal to seek help from Communist China with Vietnam and using our tremendous advantage in weapons to kill and maim as many of our so called enemies as possible, is just the reality of war and of politics.They would also rush to add that a God of Wisdom in no way condemns the United States for doing what its democratically elected leaders are convinced is in the best interest of the world and of its own people.

Nevertheless, I submit that that kind of perception by American supporters concerning of what is acceptable to God and what is in the true best interest of both the world and the American people will relatively soon bring down the United States. To continue in its supper shallow “kill em as usual” mentality will lead to disastrous consequences for the American people.There can be little doubt to anyone who takes seriously the writings and perspectives of the Hebrew Prophets, that by the U.S. consistently and ignorantly turning its back to ALLAH instead of its face and is worshipping its own man created idols, when it bases its own foreign policy on such ungodly, anti-humanity priorities is digging its own grave.

Even those who insists that each decision made by U.S. policy matters which led to the Vietnam war was appropriate and no way idolatrous, there can not be doubt about the depraved acts which were carried out by U.S. troops during that avoidable war.So these depraved acts occurred as a result of the U.S. policies which laid the foundation for the war to occur.Also, whether these depraved incidents which occurred as a result of these pro war policies are considered depraved by a Just and Compassionate ALALH, there can be absolutely no doubt.

According to the eighth month investigation done by the Toledo Blade newspaper, the following occurred as a result of 45 elite volunteer members of a special Army Unit’s attempt to carry out its assigned mission by the Army to prevent Vietnam and other countries form falling to the (degenerate, godless) Communists.

The presupposition on which the unit was assigned to do its mission was to make certain that the U.S. won the Vietnam War in order to protect Americans from the godless weapon of mass destruction then identified as Communism.

The Evil and Lethal Rational

1. In order to fight, the Vietnamese Army needed to have a reliable supply of food.
2. Vietnamese civilian farmers were needed to farm the land in order to supply the Vietnamese Army with the food they urgently needed.
3. Dead farmers cannot supply food for the hungry soldiers to eat so that they would have the necessary strength to fight the "good" Americans who were in Vietnam killing "the bad" North Vietnamese Communists in order to help the South Vietnamese to have a more just and compassionate government.
4. These American elite troops murdered civilian farmers so the farmers could not plant crops to feed either their own communist families or the communist soldiers.
5. If a sufficient number of civilian communist farmers could be forced to move to the cities, this would deprive the communist Vietnamese Army of the nourishment it needed to drive out the American helpers of South Vietnamese anti-communists.
6. There were times when the U.S. soldiers did not know if a person was a communist soldier or a communist farmer or both.So in order to be certain that the farmer did not later turn on an anti-communist American to kill him, the only safe way to prevent this was to kill the communist farmer.Because if he was dead, weather he was a soldier or not, he could no longer either feed Vietnamese or potentially kill anticommunist Americans.  One American soldier made this concise observation, about this US military unit's philosophy toward killing.

“The way to live is to kill because you don’t have to worry about anybody who’s dead.”

7. The communist farmers in Vietnam lived in communist villages.If your communist village was burned down, you were more likely to move to the city where you could not grow food for those communists who were fighting the American anti communist liberators.

“The soldiers began burning villages to force the people to leave.” The Blade

“Villagers said they dug dozens of mass graves after the soldiers moved through the valley.”The Blade

“Sergeant Forrest Miller told Army investigators the killing of prisoners was an unwritten law.”The Blade

“Soldiers told the Blade that they severed ears form the dead and strung them on shoe laces to wear around their necks.”

Former platoon medic Larry Cottingham told investigators that: “There was a period when just about everyone had a necklace of ears.”

The first paragraph of the Associated Press article reads:

“An elite unit of American soldiers mutilated and killed hundreds of unarmed villagers over seven months in 1967 during the Vietnam war and an Army investigation was closed with no charges filed, the (Toledo) Blade reported today.”

“The newspaper found that commanders knew about the platoon’s atrocities and in some cases encourage the soldiers to continue the violence.Two soldiers who tried to stop the attacks were warned by their commanders to remain quiet before transferring to other units, according to military records.”

“Soldiers dropped grenades into bunkers where villagers including women and children –hid, and shot farmers without warning, the newspaper reported.”

Yes, this kind of degenerate behavior occurs when important, respected leaders wearing neckties, convince people under their authority that murderous killing solves complex international problems.What especially brought home the dreadful hypocrisy of the American rationale was this coincidence.While I was writing these sentences, a Human Rights expert by the name of Kenneth Roth appeared on the O’Reilly Factor, a Fox News program that has almost as many simple answers to complex problems as does George W. Bush.

Host, Bill O’Reilly and his guest both agreed to the generalization that totally cruel rape of the defenseless, captured Private Jessica Lynch vividly, demonstrated the depth of cruelty of Saddam Hussein’s regime and vindicated the U.S. removal of that evil regime.

After I read a Seattle Post Intelligencer Newspaper article the next morning I soon realized that for all of host Bill O’Reilly’s emphatic claims that there is no spin or bias about anything he proclaims as the truth on his program, his claim to objectivity is outrageous.Not once was the qualifying adjective, “alleged,” used before the word rape.The reason for this crucial admission is obvious.In the mind of the American public and American officials, Saddam Hussein is such an evil man that any negative charges virtually all against Iraqis are all automatically true because it is assumed that Saddam Hussein’s evil has contaminated every person in the country including all of the Iraqi medical personnel.

If Private Jessica Lynch was indeed raped, not for one second should that terrible crime be minimized.But there are four factors which would indicates that there is the possibility that Jessica Lynch was not raped although there is a tremendous propaganda advantage for the U.S. if she was raped.

1.      Private Lynch herself has been very up front about acknowledging that she has absolutely no recollection of being raped.

2.      The medical staff at the hospital where she was treated and held are very adamant that they saw no signs whatsoever that Private Lynch was raped.Despite the reality that the moral standards of Saddam Hussein are lower than a Texas Ranch ground hog hole, that negative characterization does not fit the majority of the medical staff of Iraq to be who have an excellent reputation throughout the Middle East.

3.      There would have been tremendous psychological pressure on the U.S. medical staff to come to the conclusion that a rape had occurred as there has been on U.S. forces to find Iraqi weapons of mass destruction in order to portray the Iraqis as a savage as possible.

4.      To demonstrate how strong the pressure is on U.S. officials to turn the Lynch wounding and capture and alleged rape into a positive propaganda advantage for the U.S. , not one bit of media coverage I have been exposed to has given any credit to the Iraqi medical people for their medical work to save the life of Private Lynch.

To take nothing away from the alleged inhumane rape of Private Lynch, another reality must be faced by the U.S.If the alleged rape of Private Lynch proves that it was necessary to have removed the Saddam Hussein regime, who will remove the American regime who committed even worse unforgotten atrocities in Vietnam that were even more cruel and inhumane than the alleged savage rape of Private Jessica Lynch in Iraq?

It is time that the American Administration as well as the American public faces the following ominous reality. The degenerate behavior that follows a godless policy of solving complex international problems by killing the opposition through the use of superior weapons has enraged Allah. His own Messiah was also a vulnerable victim of degenerate, cruel behavior. So there is no possibility that He will allow even a Superpower to initiates unneeded wars which often lead to inhumane atrocities.Consequently, if an uncivilized kill as many as you can policy-continues to be pursued by the U.S. Administration, a violent storm cloud is being openly invited to visit the U.S.It strongly appears that both U.S. forces and U.S. leaders will soon find themselves fighting against ALLAH and not against man and the entire US will be the ultimate victim.
