Is it conceivable that a reputedly Christian nation could sink to any lower depth than when its well trained, college educated military leaders actively promote the following savage strategy?A special military units of 45 highly trained Special Forces were on an assignment where they callously forced innocent Vietnamese farmers to leave their farms by both murdering them and burning their villages. Then the remaining living farmers, in fear would flee for their lives from their own farm land to the cities. Without these farmers being able to remain on their land to grow rice etc. in order to feed the Vietnamese army, the human beings in that army would no longer be physically strong enough to resist their supposedly Christian liberators. Thus, the supposedly less civilized Vietnamese soldiers were inhumanly forced to survive on starvation diets by their supposedly more civilized liberators.

Since the Judeo / Christian Scriptures emphatically and repetitively teach that Allah hears and does not forget the cries of the oppressed, the Merciful most certainly is still hearingthe cries of those murdered and burned out families. Therefore, because there has not been fitting repentance for those wicked, murderous policies by the US government, God is bound by the emphatic teaching of His Scriptures to avenge those streams of innocent blood which were so ruthlessly spilled.

It would be wise for all Israelis and Americans to fervently plead, pray and hope that Allah for some incomprehensible reason will not hold their two nations to the same reasonable standards that His faithful Prophet Ezekiel emphatically held up for the supposedly less civilized ancient Edomites. (Ezekiel 35:6)

"Since you did not hate blood shed, blood shed will pursue you"

That principle concisely proclaimed by Allah's Prophet Ezekiel (Hezekiel) must receive deep consideration. This principle obviously expressed Allah's sober warning to any subsequent society who may publicly pretend that its own morality has as its reference point, the morality proclaimed in the Judeo/Christian Scriptures. Any nation which foolishly violates those standards is in deep, deep trouble with Allah. For either Israel or the US to become comfortable with shedding the blood of persons who are not only created in the image of God, but of whom God emphatically states, belong to Him, is a defiant act against God Himself

"For every living soul belongs to me, the father as well as the son-both alike belong to me" (Ezekiel 18:44)

To shed the innocent blood of people of other nations whose only perceived crime is to resist both America or Israel's lofty plans and their own self interest agendas for the people of a land they occupy or intend to occupy, is for Israel and the US to beg for vengeance from Allah. To choose to occupy another people in order to impose their own democratic recipe, according to the Prophet Hezekiel is to openly invite their own blood to be shed.

Admittedly, there is the potential for a strong nation to have an obligation to shed blood when it has a clear responsibility to the Almighty to prevent excessive evil from occurring. But the potential for a strong nation to assume that its own cause is so righteous that Allah would not have it thoroughly explore more peaceful means of dealing with what they consider to be wicked, puts them in the position of Allah needing to deal with that strong nation for its own brazen wickedness. Thus, when the US President announced for the first time his official intension to invade another nation with the vile six word proclamation suddenly stated in the doorway of an office where he was not invited:

"F**K Saddam, we're taking him out!" there is an extreme clear indication that the shedding of rivers of blood on both sides that will most certainly occur is being treated as trivial by a self proclaimed world leader who has at best a junior high school concept of leadership.

For exactly such occasions the Prophet Hezekiel's words reverberate down though the centuries and should be constantly echoing in every governmental office throughout the world. With a slight modification is Ezekiel's original words, the proclamation may read.

"If you do not hate bloodshed, bloodshed will pursue you"

Yes, the vast majority of the American military women and men serving American policy in Iraq may have idealistic and even pure motives in wanting to liberate and rebuilt Iraq. They sincerely desire to give Iraqis new water projects, new schools, and safety from the tyrants of Saddam. But now Amercian forced Democracy has taken on an ugly face. Regretfully, however, the streams of innocent blood previously shed in Vietnam as well as the innocent blood (not to be confused with the guilty blood) currently being shed in Iraq, continue to cry out against the American people. This is reality despite how many promises of free education military recruiters make to potential young recruits whom they are encouraging to enlist in the military. They also sincerely entice them with the potential to see the world, to serve their nation's policies, to receive training, to have steady employment. But these recruits must also be ready to give their lives in order to forcefully impose democracies on mainly undemocratic, oil-rich Middle Eastern kingdoms.

Despite the obvious and overwhelming need for viable alternatives to war, I will always remember how frustrated I felt while I watched a certain Fox cable news segment. The Fox New propagandist was severely castigating an invited guest for having views which differed with the George Bush views that if a sovereign nation does not meet US demands within his conceived time frame, a bloody war will solve the problem. This horrible treatment of a TV guest occurred during the same time period when there was still much talk about discovering who put the life of former Ambassador Joseph Wilson's wife in severe jeopardy. An unidentified member or members of the Bush Administration had decided the Ambassador's wife deserved to potentially die because her husband had exposed the Administration's blatant disinformation regarding Iraq's supposed attempt to procure nuclear weapons' capabilities.

The berated TV guest was being publicly castigated by Alan Colme's partner who I will not name, for the crime of attempting to articulate viable alternatives to war. But this closed minded Fox man treated him like he was planning to advocate a violent over throw of the US government even before he was allowed possibly less than a minute to state his case. Despite not allowing his articulate, well informed guest to make his relevant point, the Bush man made his own preferences and distorted biases abundantly clear. His views were: Any American who is sufficiently unpatriotic to dare to suggest that there may be reasonable alternatives to the Bush-Cheney-Rumsfield-Wolfowitz virtual unilateral strategy of "kill em as effectively and as efficiently as possible in order to bring peace and democracy to the world", was considered to be a traitor of not insane. Therefore in his reasoning, it is absolutely necessary that al patriotic Americans give their unreserved and uncritical support of President Bush's zealous pursuit of killing as many people as necessary in order to obtain the "American Dream" for those who are his subjects in his kingdom.

It occurred to me that if this Fox patriot had been a network news man at the time that Allah Himself was directing his Prophet Jeremiah to deliver His message that Jerusalem's own wickedness was so great that its people should no longer resist the conquering armies of the Babylonian King, Nebuchadnezzar, the following scenario would probably have occurred. I honestly believe that this possibly religious interviewer would have used his bloody pulpit to encourage his patriotic listeners to help lower Jeremiah into the muddy well so that he would slowly starve to death. In fact, I believe that in order to preclude even the remote possibility of his rescue, he would have encouraged Israel to immediately murder Allah's Prophet by shooting him repeatedly with poison arrows and then to throw his dead body into the well and to cover the Prophet's lifeless body with stones. He would have reasoned that this useless stone filled well would be a fitting memorial for any citizen who had the audacity to obey Allah instead of being a blind patriot who was always obedient to all official government policies. Significantly, when Allah arranged for the Prophet Jeremiah to be rescued from his muddy grave, even Allah could not locate one Jewish citizen in all of Jerusalem who would take the politically incorrect risk of arranging for the fearless Prophet's rescue. So Allah found Ebed-Melech, an Ethiopian who was willing to lay his own life on the line to take the politically incorrect action of courageously arranging for the rescue of Allah's Prophet. Never-the-less, because of his courageous unpatriotic act, he lived in mortal danger. Consequently, shortly before Jerusalem fell, Allah sent this Ethiopian a special message through Jeremiah that He would intervene on order to guarantee the faithful foreigners safety.

A final Comment on Vietnam

It is significant to note that of the 45 men who were assigned to the killer army unit in Vietnam, only 20 war crimes were substantiated as having been committed by 18 soldiers by the probe that lasted four and half years before finally reaching the Pentagon and the White House, this would mean that all of the other killing and burning of villages and cutting of ears which may have been initiated by the other 27 soldiers always occurred when they were operating under the military's standard rules of engagement. Potentially sixty percent of the soldiers maintained their US military engagement standards during their horrible grotesque assignment, "to force villagers to move to refugee centers so they could not grow rice to feed the enemy", and "the soldiers began burning villages to force the people to leave." Allah certainly cannot honor such degenerate engagement standards nor can be honor the nation which orders such a grotesque, inhumane military assignment.
