Cold-Blooded Massive Murder

By the B-B-Boys – Bush and Bremer

This morning, the Islamic Holy Day of Friday, five mental images from recent days converged in my mind.

The image of the shock of U.S. General Jay Garner when he found out what Paul Bremer had decided to do that would bring horrible, horrible death and suffering to the innocent people of Iraq. (As described in Woodward book, “State of Denial.”

The image of the results of the John Hopkins research study that put the violent death figures in Iraq since the U.S. invasion at between 426,369 violent deaths and the 793,663 violent deaths of civilians.

The scholarly article in the September/October Foreign Policy by Rajiv Chandrasekara entitled “Who Killed Iraq?” The first three lines of the exceptionally upsetting but revealing article read: “After the invasion America was supposed to build a model democracy. Instead, the arrogance of L. Paul Bremer and his team of naďve neocons only helped Iraq become the world’s most dangerous nation. This is how it all went wrong – before it ever had a chance to go right.”

The President’s signing of “The Safe Port Act.” At 10:01 EST President Bush was covered by Fox News on their “News Alert” as he made a short speech while he signed a new bill called the “Safe Port Act.” Significantly, the Fox News announcer introduced the President’s comments by stating that the President was the “Most Powerful Man On the Planet.” The President’s first words were: “The most solemn duty of the American Government is to protect the American people. Later in comments about the bill he mentioned protecting the people and upholding our values.

Massive Murder I was overwhelmed by the impression that these four events or circumstances were all connected in my mind by the over-all them of cold-blooded, massive murder. Furthermore, I have become convinced that this passively calculated massive murder was facilitated by the most proficient group of men at being arrogant who have ever cooperated together in the history of our universe to unintentionally murder tens of thousands of innocents. Because blatant rampant, unbridled arrogance causes massive murders to be committed is the reason that the Quran is emphatic that arrogance is hateful to ALLAH. AL Isra 17:38.

Connections Between The Five Impressions

The Denial book on page 219, reveals the first person in charge of post-war reconstruction in Iraq, General Jay Garner, trying to get the arrogant, know it all Secretary of Defence, Donald Rumsfeld to hear his version of the “three terrible mistakes” that had his Iraq replacement, Paul Bremer had made. However, I consider the term “three terrible mistakes” as virtually a euphemism. I personally would classify them as “three of the main parts of a foundation for massive murder.”

But when General Garner explained the three mistakes to Rumsfeld, (the extent of Bremer’s de-Baathafication, getting rid of the army and summarily dumping the Iraqi leadership group) this arrogant, incompetent, calloused man just brushed him off. Of course Garner elaborated on why each of the three mistakes was so horrible and explained that each of them could still be rectified. But Mr. Rumsfeld would not acknowledge the extensive ramifications of Bremer’s horrible misjudgments and the thousands and thousands of Iraqi and American lives those misjudgments would cost.

But Rumsfeld’s unexcusable reply was, “Well, I don’t think there is anything we can do, because we are where we are.”

To add to Rumsfeld hideous bad judgment was the fact that President George Bush made no serious, professional point of debriefing General Garner, the one American who knew more about what was happening to the human beings called Iraqis than anyone else. The man who decided to both have the war and to occupy the nation just could not be bothered about something so trivial and unexciting and apparently irrelevant as debriefing this key General about the prospects for the success or failure of the occupation of Iraq.

From everything I have read, the issue that gets so much attention, whether we have enough troops in Iraq, would not be such an important issue if Paul Bremer had not been allowed to foolishly lay the firm foundation for the insurgency by putting tens of thousands of disillusioned, betrayed, enraged, unemployed, humiliated, hungry Iraqi men on the street. Thus, he provided thousands of enraged men to fuel the insurgency rather than to be important persons in preventing it. So if he had not been allowed by Rumsfeld to make such stupid, barbaric decisions, the stability factor in Iraq would be much different than it is today and it would have saved countless American and Iraqi lives. But we must keep in mind that the brilliant (“Humiliate the Iraqi Muslim Extremists”), Henry Kissinger had been Bremer’s mentor.

For instance, to show how ridiculous it was to get rid of all the Baathists, Mr. Chandrassekaran, in his revealing article of “Who Killed Iraq?” states:

“Bremer’s first official act upon arriving in Baghdad was to fire tens of thousands of Baathists from their government jobs. What about the 15,000 thousand teachers that included? What about the top managers of the ministry of health? Or the hundreds of old soldiers who had been made honorary senior members of the party after spending years in Iranian prisoner-of war camps?” So Bush’s man, Bremer consistently made exceptionally inhumane decisions.

I plead with every reader of these words to also read the whole ugly exposure in the September-October “Foreign Policy.” Then you may have more understanding why I feel a personal responsibility to help expose Bush and Bremer for laying the firm foundation for the massive murder of approximately 550,000 human beings in Iraq. (This figure was brought home to me by the Seattle P.I. journalist Robert Jaimeson Jr. who pointed out that the approximate number of those killed in Iraq since the U.S. invasion is the approximate number of men, women and children living in Seattle, Washington.

But how does this murder all tie in with Fox News’ “most powerful man on the planet” signing a bill to make U.S. ports safer?

While signing the bill our insensitive President to the needs of Middle Eastern people said that “The most solemn duty of the American Government is to protect the American people.” Therefore, I would point out to him that he is flagrantly violating that solemn duty. How? By invading and occupying Iraq and creating conditions where approximately 550,000 precious human beings have violently lost their lives. So now because of all this maiming and murder, many, many Muslims and others will be enraged at America despite how much our naďve President spends on Port Security. So because of our President’s policies, many of them will dedicate their lives at getting even with President Bush by attacking his U.S..

Yes, whether Bremer, Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Kissenger, Franks, Wolfowitz and Snow can connect the dots, when men of power and responsibility allow lethal arrogance to make their decisions for them which causes them to shed rivers of innocent blood, it is not due to simple mistakes they have made. No! It is as though they have personally taken a gun and pulled the trigger over and over and over. Yes! Those kinds of irresponsible decisions are pre-meditated murder and GOD/ALLAH will hold them responsible.

But, President Bush, do you not owe it to the occupied people of Iraq who continue to mourn their 550,000 people who have been murdered and tens of other thousands who have been permanently maimed, to answer this question? Do you truly believe that the Iraqi people are inferior to the American people whom you addressed at your port security signing ceremony? Do you actually believe it is only your solemn duty to provide security for the American people and no solemn duty to provide security for the people you have chosen to invade and occupy? For if you are actually the Planet’s most powerful man as the Cheney’s Fox news says that you are, would you really allow the Neocon henchmen of Paul Bremer to abuse, humiliate and facilitate the unemployment and even murder of so many thousands of Iraqis, who, like American Christians, were created in the image of God? Millions await your answer, President Bush, the all Powerful.
