The Holy Quran Confirms Mel Gibson

Shubbiihalahum Exposes Horrible Israeli Crime

Since ALLAH is Almighty, He can use defective men to accomplish His own good purposes. Most Muslims will agree that overwhelming corruptive influences too often come out of America’s Hollywood and even out of India’s Bollywood.

        However, though Mel Gibson may sometimes be one of those corrupting influences and is far from a perfect human being, this does not mean that ALLAH did not use his film, “The Passion of Christ.” This amazing film vividly exposed excessively evil acts that certain first century Israeli men chose to publicly commit against the innocent man whom ALLAH chose to be the son of the virgin Maryam/Mary. So even though Hollywood and Bollywood both may sometimes pour forth abundant evil, ALLAH can also cause good to come from them, when doing so will fulfill His purposes, and will display to all His triumph over even excessive evil.

        For those Muslims who did see the Gibson film revealing ALLAH’s Messiah’s exceedingly cruel and gruesome execution, the excessive cruelty by the executioners must have reinforced a firm belief that almost all Muslims have. That belief that was possibly confirmed by the vivid evil in the film was this. The Merciful ALLAH would most certainly never have allowed something so cruel, humiliating and disgusting to have been visited upon His own innocent, anointed Messiah by such wicked men.

        Certainly, there can be no denying that that conclusion is exceptionally logical from man’s point of view. However, it is neither logical or wise and is even dangerous to attempt to impose man’s logic and standards upon the ALMIGHTY. For His glorious wisdom is as far beyond our limited wisdom as the East is from the West. Because as the Holy Quran teaches over and over, again and again, ALLAH is able to do all things. Therefore, it is not impossible for Him to bring eternal good out of man’s temporary evil. Thus, despite the reality that it temporarily appeared that certain wicked Jews were able to defeat ALLAH’s Messiah, as we all know, appearances are many times deceiving.

        Due to the deceptiveness of appearances, the Quran is absolutely correct in unequivocally proclaiming that the Messiah, the son of Mary/Maryam, was neither killed nor crucified. Because if he had been truly killed or crucified in the literal sence of what these two words actually mean, then three days later ALLAH would not have been able to empower a crucified and killed Messiah to miraculously walk through closed and locked doors in order to personally encourage his fearful and discouraged disciples. Yet, this is precisely what occurred according to the vivid accounts of the earlier Scriptures which the Holy Quran repeatedly confirms. Furthermore, in terms of what killed or crucified ordinarily mean, the man Christ would not have been able to eat food with his disciples and to allow them to closely examine his wounds. Therefore, it was appropriate for the Quran to state that ALLAH’s messenger had not been killed or crucified even though there was a crowd of witnesses who personally viewed his crucifixion. This is because his crucifixion actually became a non crucifixion due to ALLAH’s Wisdom and Might raising him up alive after the monstrous event which ALLAH for His own eternal reasons allowed to occur.

        In reality, by the Quran’s using the exact words that it did, it was purposely making a mockery of certain degenerate Jews. It was mocking them for both daring to imply that his mother was promiscuous (see previous verse) and for also contemptuously boasting about having ended the Messiah’s life forever. So by a clever use of a combination of the verb, preposition and pronoun, “shubbiihalahum” (“it appeared so unto them”), the Quran exposes these shameful men for what they truly were, Bush and Cheney type self deceived men. For it only had appeared to them that they had permanently ended the Messiah’s life. Because from what killed and crucified truly mean, these particular Jews had been absolute failures in what they had intended to accomplish. Though they had thought that they had ended his life forever, they had neither truly killed him nor truly crucified him. For as the Quran’s next verse so vividly reveals, ALLAH, by His own wisdom and might raised him up alive to be with Himself. And being raised alive is totally incompatible with the permanent death that had been these Jews’ intention.

        Therefore, once this reasonable explanation is accepted, there no longer exists any compelling reason to purposefully distort the clear intention of two other verses in the Holy Quran which obviously teach that the Messiah experienced a very real death. When Al-Imran 3:55, uses the Arabic verb “Mutawafik” regarding the Messiah being “caused to die”. To cause to die is obviously the intended meaning, unless this particular verb and its object has its meaning purposely twisted and distorted. Also, when Surat Mary/Maryam 19:33 speaks of Jesus’ (Isa’s) death, it was obviously referring to his First Century death and not to a death that has not yet even occurred in the Twenty First Century.

        Furthermore, when the objection is raised that if An Nisa (Women) 4:157 was really intended to be understood that the Messiah actually had been crucified when the words of the verse actually state that he had not been crucified, there is an extremely legitimate explanation of why this apparent contradiction is not truly a contradiction.

        There is example after example in profound literature where important points are made through the literary technique of hyperbole or exaggeration in order to add extra emphasis to what is exceptionally important.

        Even in our every day conversation, we add emphasis to being thirsty by saying such things as “I am dying of thirst.” But we definitely do not mean that we are actually dying. Rather, we are only emphasizing that we are very thirsty.

        Thus, when the Messiah desired to emphasize to his listeners the absolute importance of our attempting to avoid sin, he was quite aware of the necessity of getting his listeners full attention regarding our not committing evil acts for which we will bring injury to others or to ourselves. So in order to address this important problem, he spoke in extreme exaggeration:

        “If your right eye causes you to sin, tear it out and throw it away, for it is better for you to lose an eye than that your whole body be thrown into hell. And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. For it is better for you to lose one of your hands than that your whole body go into hell.”

        Obviously ALLAH’s Messiah did not intend for his listeners to take his words literally and begin tearing out their eyes or cutting off their hands. If those who heard his words and the millions more who have since read his words had totally obeyed these words, it would have created a horrible problem. Not only would most of these self mutilators have died from loss of blood during their self inflicted surgery but if they had survived there would be millions more disabled persons in the world much more dependent upon others for there every day survival. Similarly to how these words of Jesus were not to be taken literally, the profound words in the Holy Quran of “He was not killed nor crucified” were also not intended to be received by the Quran’s readers in a literal sence. Rather, they were intended to emphatically reveal to the millions of readers of the Quran one extremely important reality. And all people everywhere should be aware of this significant reality.

        That when the leaders of the Jews feverishly attempted to forever end the life of the innocent son of the virgin Maryam, they were total failures. And why were they total failures? Because it only appeared to them (shubbiihalahum) that they had killed or crucified him. In fact, they were more delusional than Dick Cheney to think that they had been successful. This is because three days later he was not only able to walk through walls but he also was consuming food with his disciples.

        Similarly to how it appeared to George Bush, Donald Rumsfeld and Dick Cheney for years that U.S. forces were winning the war in Iraq so that they boasted about their winning that war, it also appeared to the Jews that they had won their war against ALLAH by successfully ending forever the life of His Messiah. So they shamefully boasted about having killed him. But due to ALLAH’s great Wisdom and His eternal Might, in the sence of what the two words “Kill” and “crucify” truly mean, they had neither killed nor crucified him. Why? Because ALLAH took him up alive to himself.

        So just as it was only conjecture for the trio of Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld to think that they were winning the Iraq war, it was only conjecture for the Jews to think that they had truly killed and crucified ALLAH’s Messiah because ALLAH had given him new life. So the whole world has been emphatically informed by this one profound verse in the Holy Quran that what appeared to the Jews to be reality, was in reality their delusion. But what was the true reality? That ALLAH’s great Wisdom and Eternal Might could never and will never be defeated by the Jews or by any one else. The inconvertible evidence of the Jews not being able to defeat ALLAH was ALLAH taking His Messiah up to Himself alive after he had experienced three days of death.

The Mossad and the CIA

As for those well meaning Muslims who inadvertently attempt to cheapen the majesty of ALLAH by implying that He performed a CIA or MOSSAD like majic trick at the Messiah’s execution, they should be ashamed. For it is not in ALLAH’s character that he would deceive the executioners by making someone else appear to be the Messiah, so that the imposter was actually tortured and executed rather than the Messiah. Teaching that such deception occurred is to shamefully detract from ALLAH’s Majesty, His Might and His Wisdom. It is to crudely put ALLAH in the company of such professional deceivers as CIA and Mossad types.

        No, ALLAH’s Messiah was not a man who would allow another person to suffer instead of him. Instead he was full of courage and possessed deep trust in ALLAH’s faithfulness.

        These considerations about whether ALLAH’s Messiah indeed did die but then was three days later raised from death by ALLAH may appear to many to be insignificant if not irrelevant theological technicalities. But that is definitely not the case. Whether one billion Muslims or even two billion Muslims believe so or not, whether or not ALLAH’s Messiah actually died upon the cross and then later rose from death could not be more important. But it may be only ALLAH and His Messiah who fully realize how this reality is of the utmost importance for the future of individual Muslims and for the future of all of Islam.

        If individual Muslims or Muslim political leaders or Muslim religious leaders do not accept the historical reality that ALLAH’s Messiah died and later rose from death, the harsh reality is that they are wrong. The earlier Scriptures which the Quran confirms, emphatically and repeatedly teach that he both died and rose from death. When the Quran is understood correctly without a Bush-Cheney type distortion of reality, it too teaches that the Messiah both died and was later raised alive.

ALLAH Is One

However, you may legitimately ask this question. If An Nisa/Women 4/157 should be understood to teach that the Messiah actually did die and that the following verse should be understood to teach that ALLAH did raise him from death up unto himself, why did not the Prophet teach that his death and resurrection actually occurred?

        The short answer to this exceptionally important question is: Because of the extreme importance of the truth of ALLAH’s absolute Oneness.

        At the time of the Prophet, there were well meaning Catholic type Christians who revered the mother of the Messiah to such an extreme extent that they gave her the honorable but theologically incorrect title of Um ALLAH or Mother of GOD.

        To the Prophet, while this may have been a title of enormous respect in the Christians’ mind, to his sensitive mind this title bordered on blasphemy, the very issue that he personally had worked so hard to correct. With all his heart and mind he labored to protect Muslims and Islam from the false teaching of polytheism which is a belief in families of gods. Therefore, if it was to come into Islam that ALLAH Himself indeed had a mother, to the Prophet this was a direct assault on the Oneness of GOD. Yet, sincere Catholics would deny that this title even hinted at there being more than One GOD or that there was a family of GODs. And of course the Catholics used as their justification for this title, the greeting of John the Baptist’s (Yahya’s) mother Elizabeth to the pregnant Maryam as recorded in Dr. Luke’s Injeel (Gospel.)

        “And why is this granted to me that the mother of my Lord should come to me?”

          But it cannot be denied that the Catholics made a great theological leap from the words of Elizabeth, “mother of my Lord” to the Catholic’s term, “mother of ALLAH” or “mother of GOD.” Therefore, it is quite reasonable that the Prophet would desire to make every effort to keep his vulnerable new Muslims as separate as possible from any association with Christianity that could pull the young Muslim community to the temptation of polytheism which they had so recently escaped.

Therefore, since belief in the death and resurrection was so central to the more established Christian belief and a major fabric of that belief, it was quite reasonable that the wise Prophet decided that a later time would be a more appropriate time for the Muslim Community to be introduced to the Messiah’s agonizing death and glorious resurrection. So to temporarily leave in the Muslims’ minds the more superficial understanding of this profound, easily misunderstood verse seemed to be wise and expedient.

        So this brings us to today when Islam is no longer relatively weak but is now exceptionally strong with somewhere between one billion two hundred million and one billion five hundred Muslims in the world. So Islam no longer has a need to be protected from any doctrines of the Christian faith which the wise Prophet Muhammad had been protecting Islam from.

The Bottom Line

So here is the bottom line of the current situation between Islam and ALLAH at the beginning of this 21^st Century. The entire world is at risk from the arms race, global warming, potential economic upheaval, and nuclear weapons. Plus, today there is the additional horrible dynamic of psychologically unstable persons leading the world’s most weaponized nation who have little regard for human life in the Middle East if that life is not Jewish or Christian or does not control oil resources to which the U.S. has access.

        But from an entirely different and more significant dimension there is the reality of ALLAH. So what are some of the main factors which He observes in this “people gone wild” Twenty First Century. He observes corrupt leadership especially in the U.S. where a small percentage of wealthy, greedy men steal from the middle and lower classes, where many worship sex and greed while claiming to be Christians, where a calloused supposedly Christian President gets confused about who is John Wayne and who is Jesus. Furthermore, this powerful leader thumbs his arrogant nose at his Congress, at his Senate, at the U.N. and at the entire world because he is convinced that might determines what is right. Yes, the America that GOD observes has to a great degree traded its long time belief in ALLAH’s Risen Messiah for greed, corruption, and U.S. control over other nations and their resources.

        From my perspective GOD now views the U.S.’ supposed Christian commitment as pretty much of a joke. But it is an excessively cruel joke because when right wing Christians banded together to make certain that George Bush, Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld could have four more years of carrying out their arrogant policies of excessive bloodshed in Iraq, this was an emphatic turning point for the U.S.’ formal identification as a leader in the world-wide community of those known for honoring the Living Christ. Because true honoring of ALLAH’s Living Christ is absolutely incompatible with unilaterally stirring up a bloody civil war in a sovereign nation that in no way had attacked the U.S. or had even made a threat against the U.S.

        So where does this rebellious circumstance leave ALLAH as far as the leadership He desires to see in His world-wide community of followers of His Risen Messiah?

        From ALLAH’s perspective, He desires to see every nation in the world have multitudes of vibrant communities of those who would boldly and with integrity honor His living Messiah. However, with Him, having these communities of people call themselves “Christian” would not be a priority or necessity. But having them sincerely committed to His Messiah’s values and His Messiah’s love for humanity with an abhorrence for solving disagreements with violence, would be a high priority. But these values should and would naturally follow genuine commitment to both Him and His Messiah.

        The reality is that the present world-wide Islamic Community appears to be the people ALLAH has prepared to fulfill His purpose in providing leadership in taking the light of the Living Christ to nations such as India, China, Afghanistan, Pakistan and many other nations.

        ALLAH already has a world-wide network of mosques in place. Though multitudes of people world-wide totally discount it, ALLAH has gone to a great deal of trouble in sending His Messiah into this world to be treated and abused the way he was abused in the First Century and the way he is being further abused and his values ignored in this 21^st Century. But the Muslims are in the driver’s seat as far as discontinuing the abuse of rejection of the Messiah by almost one billion five hundred million Muslims. Of course the first step of correcting this rejection is to acknowledge that now is the time to totally stop devaluing the great sacrifice the Messiah made in behalf of the whole human race when he endured humiliation, torture and an unjust cruel execution at the hands of his own Jewish people. But his glorious resurrection more than cancelled out the sting and evil of his own people’s calloused crime against both ALLAH and His anointed Messiah.

        Therefore, I have a suggestion for any Muslim religious and/or political leaders who will be courageous enough to take the first steps in correcting this centuries old incorrect understanding about the Messiah’s death. It will be helpful, in addition to making selective articles on my website available, to also begin having editorials and news available in the newspapers, on the radio as well as on T.V. about how it is quite reasonable to interpret Women/An Nisa 4:157 and 158 in the Holy Quran in a more consistent way. And to explain that this more correct interpretation of these key verses is more consistent with the rest of the Quran; more consistent with historical reality; more consistent with reasonableness; more consistent with the emphatic teaching of the earlier Scriptures and more consistent with the horrible crime against ALLAH and His Messiah that the whole Muslim world is now complicit in. That is, all Muslims have made themselves complicit in the Israelis’ crime by incomprehensibly denying that their despicable crime occurred.

        Tell me O Muslim leaders, which are you afraid of most? Are you most afraid of your fellow Muslim brothers for the criticism and possible persecution you will receive if you speak the truth about the real meaning of this profound verse? Or, are you more fearful of the Zionists who will severely criticize you for further exposing them for what they themselves and their rebellious, disobedient nation actually did to ALLAH’s Messiah two thousand years ago?

        But if you do have either of these fears, I now make a suggestion about whom you should truly fear. You should fear ALLAH for your disobedience to the truth of what He sent His Messiah to endure for you. And if you refuse to finally openly acknowledge that you have made a terrible error in denying His Messiah’s death and resurrection, the negativity that you will experience now and in eternity for continuing to enable Jews to live in denial about the terrible crime their forefathers committed against ALLAH’s beloved Messiah, will make all potential criticism or persecution from either Jews, Muslims or Americans, seem insignificant.

        And please don’t try to hide behind a strong claim of personal loyalty to the Prophet and use that loyalty as your excuse for denying the truth about the Messiah’s horrible death at the hands of the Jews. For if your own loyalty to the Prophet were more pure, you would not allow the fact of whether you were Sunni of Shi’a to make any difference in your relationship with each other. But as you do begin to acknowledge the true authority ALLAH has given His Messiah through his resurrection from death, the Sunni and Shi’a designations and disagreements will begin to have much less significance.

        So please O Muslims, for the sake of the future welfare of your own people and especially for the welfare of your children, please begin showing the Mel Gibson film “Passion of the Christ” to your large cities, in your small cities and in your Mosques so that Muslims will become more aware of the extent of their guilt before ALLAH for continuing to deny that such a horrible crime took place. For the inevitable blessings that the Truth of the death and resurrection will bring to Muslims everywhere will most certainly out weigh any negative consequences of standing up for ALLAH’s truth and for pointing to historical reality.

In Conclusion

It is virtually unfathomable to me personally that both the religious and political leaders in Islam would continue to unanimously reject their own enlightened self-interest regarding the Messiah’s glorious triumph over both death and over the anti-GOD and anti-humanity Jewish political and religious apparatus. That these Muslim leaders who are so progressive and enlightened in so many other areas, would unitedly and steadfastly insist upon a backward and reactionary interpretation of one particular profound verse in the Holy Quran so that even the youth and coming generations are held hostage to their retrogressive thinking, is beyond my ability to comprehend.

        It is as though there is an invisible force that I am tempted to blame on Shitaan (Satan.) For some such mighty force appears to have confused Islamic leadership so that they counterproductively and counter intuitively reject the gift of emancipation from the chains of bondage to this one major error to which their present rejectionism enslaves them. But once Islam accepts the truth that ALLAH’s anointed Messiah defeated both death and Jewish rejectionism, Islam’s adults and youth will be infused with a wonderful new hope. Thus, no longer will Islamic extremism and the dreadful rage that that lethal ideology generates, be the main alternative of choice for disillusioned Muslims. Plus, when this new enlightenment invades the Muslim Middle East, all Muslims who choose to walk this joyful and meaningful path will be choosing to cooperate with and fellowship with ALLAH’s now Risen and accessible Messiah. Isn’t this a preferable choice than to continue to wound his compassionate heart the way the Jews did when they stubbornly, foolishly and violently rejected him by their illegal execution of not only his life but they also executed their light?

Five Final Questions

1. O Muslim, which is more important to you? Whatever is the consensus and opinion of other Muslims or what is actually truth and historical reality?

2. O Muslim leaders, which is more important to you? Tradition or Truth?

3. O Muslim mothers and fathers, which is more important to you? The future of your children or what other people including Zionists think of your beliefs?

4. O Muslim young people, which is more important to you? What other people want you to believe or what ALLAH knows you should believe?

5. O Muslim Community, which community will prosper? The Islamic community which will not acknowledge an obvious error or the Islamic community which is strong enough, wise enough, honest enough and has enough fear of ALLAH to correct an obvious error?                                              As far as the ALMIGHTY ALLAH is concerned, the way these five questions are answered by thinking and responsible Muslims of the Middle East will have a far greater impact on the future of the precious Muslim people than the answers to these following five uncertainties.                                                         

Five Serious Concerns

1. The outcome of the Iraq War.

2. The outcome of the Middle East Peace Process between Palestinians and Israelis.

3. Who will become the next U.S. President and the type of leadership that will evolve.

4. What is the future for Middle East Oil?

5. Whether or not Iran develops nuclear weapons?

                        O precious Muslims of the Middle East. The ball is in your possession. It is you and only you who will decide. But you also must realize that it is no less than the ALMIGHTY ALLAH, His Risen Messiah and His Holy Angels in Heaven who are compassionately awaiting your important answers to these vital questions.

His Lamb Slain From the Foundation of the World

But why are the answers to these questions even more important than the five potentially world shaping concerns I have listed? The reason is this. Though each of these contemporary situations may seriously impact millions if not billions, not one of them have the kind of eternal reference point from the very Creator of the Universe which the death and resurrection that His Risen Messiah has.

        As a vivid example we will look at the last book of the earlier Scriptures, “Revelation.” There Revelation 13:8 sternly warns how negative it will be for those persons who are not in a proper relationship with ALLAH’s Lamb whose preordained slaying figuratively took place in the long, long ago time when the world was first created. But this significant verse also reveals the security of those who have chosen to be in a truly right relationship with ALLAH’s slain lamb.

        “All inhabitants of the world will worship the Beast (Beast=Evil) – all whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb that was slain from the creation of the world.”

          Further emphasizing the eternal reference point that the two centuries ago execution of ALLAH’s anointed which he endured when his hands and feet were pierced with giant nails and his side was pierced by a cruel Roman sword as he was suspended above the earth. According to ALLAH’s inspired Scriptures this gruesome event was treated as no big deal by most of the Romans and Jews who were observing the apparent tragedy. Yet, this event had been anticipated by ALLAH since the creation of the world. Therefore, to ALLAH that unjust execution was the pivotal event in human history. Because from ALLAH’s enlightened perspective, this blatant violation of all that is just, that was cruelly carried out against the Messiah by his own people, was so important that all people of all generations will either be reminded of what occurred on that dreadful day or will be informed of what occurred. And that will happen when he returns. For according to Revelation, this is what they will all see. Even those who participated in the savage piercing of his body will view this dramatic and overwhelming event. (Revelation 1:7)

        “Look he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him; and all the peoples of the earth will mourn because of him.”

        Thus, no matter how positive or how negative any of the five current situations will be for any person, the deciding factor as to how each situation will impact the particular individual will be strongly influenced by the kind of personal response they have chosen to have to the eternity impacting victory over the brutal execution of ALLAH’s Lamb.

        But his eternal victory will be much more relevant and meaningful to each of us when we factor into the eternal equation one seemingly inconspicuous announcement which was spoken near the Jordan river two thousand years ago by the Prophet Yahya (John the Baptist.) When Jesus/Isa was walking toward him, Yahya proclaimed:

        “Behold, the Lamb of GOD/ALLAH who takes away the sin of the world.”

        From the lips of this notable Prophet, Yahya, which the Holy Quran so highly honors, came these truly amazing words. And these words reveal to all of the people of the earth the key role that ALLAH would empower His eternal slain lamb to have in removing evil and rebellion from this earth.

        O Muslims! You must decide regarding the most eternal decision you will ever make. To not decide is to actually decide no. Was Yahya not telling the truth about ALLAH’s eternal Lamb? Is this writer not telling the truth about the death of the Lamb of ALLAH? Are the previous Scriptures which the Quran confirms, not telling the truth about ALLAH’s eternal Lamb? Is it not quite possible that Women/An Nisa 4:157 is more profound than all Muslims thought? Now is the time for your eternal decision! The choice is yours and no one else’s.

        The Evidence needed for you to make the only decision which will be pleasing to ALLAH is overwhelming. And when you do decide to receive His Messiah rather than reject him, there will be one more extremely important benefit. No matter how any of the five potential disasters work out, you will not endure them alone. For ALLAH’s Risen and Faithful Messiah will be with you to protect, comfort and encourage both your loved ones and you. So no matter what harm and injustice Israel inflicts upon the Palestinians, He will be with you. No matter what the future holds for Middle East oil, ALLAH’s Risen Messiah will be with you. No matter how much suffering, upheaval and instability the U.S. initiated war in Iraq brings to the Entire Middle East, He will be with you. No matter whether or not Iran obtains nuclear weapons and even uses them, He will be with you. No matter whether or not the U.S. elects another unstable, deceptive, arrogant president who will have his or her finger on the nuclear trigger, ALLAH’s Messiah’s faithful promise to you is:

        “I will always be with you.”

Epilogue

I hesitate to mention the following reality but feel that I must. In light of the U.S. leadership recently contriving an internationally acceptable reason to invade and occupy the sovereign nation of Iraq and then was forced to admit that their reason had no validity, this brings into the open one additional reality that is painfully relevant to the people of the Middle East. The harsh truth is that the U.S. is the only nation on this earth where its leader gave way to military advisors and justified the advantages of dropping not one but two atomic bombs on an already defeated nation. And their convenient justification for doing so was that dropping those two atomic bombs would save a considerable number of American lives. (Furthermore, American high school U.S. history books shamelessly inflate that number.) Does such a justification sound familiar and amazingly convenient? Could such a justification be used again, this time in the Middle East. We certainly hope not. But history has a negative tendency to repeat itself. For instance, think Vietnam, then think Iraq.

        So the harsh reality is this. Despite all of the justified International pointing of the finger at Iraq for its potential to produce and use nuclear weapons in the Mid East, it is only ALLAH who knows the truth of who is more likely to use such weapons first. Whether it will be Iraq, Israel or the U.S. whose leaders will first justify their rationale for using nuclear weapons and then use them, it is only ALLAH who definitely knows. But there is more ominous reality that ALLAH has allowed all of us who read U.S. newspapers and watch T.V., to be suspiciously aware of. It is only the foreign policy experts of the U.S. who continuously and publicly repeat over and over again:

        “We will not take any military option off the table!”

A Hundred Thousand Equals Hundreds of Thousands

The largest estimate most often citied of the U.S. lives that may have been lost if an atomic bomb had not been dropped on both Nagasaki and Hiroshima Japan, was a hundred thousand. Of course this is an exceedingly high number of precious human lives to waste. But to make certain that millions of American high school students more fully blame Japan for the equally precious lives of the Japanese incinerated at Nagasaki and Hiroshima, a pair of s’s were conveniently added to the estimate of American lives which were saved by the two atomic bombs.

        In the widely used high school U.S. history book, “Rise of the American Nation,” the authors added two s’s to a hundred thousand to make it the more compelling number of “hundreds of thousands” of American lives saved by two atomic bombs. On page 700, referring to President Harry Truman’s decision to drop the two atomic bombs in order to compel Japan to surrender, the U.S. History book states:

        “His decision was made to force Japan to surrender immediately and thus to save the lives of hundreds of thousands of American troops.”

        Regretfully, President Truman’s bold decision to potentially save American lives may have horrendous overtones for people of the Middle East. For in the Middle East the U.S. government wants to save both American and Israeli lives and ominously those decisions made by President Harry Truman are the decisions President George W. Bush most respects. Furthermore, he seems to be preoccupied with the fact that with each passing year the bold decisions made by President Truman seem to become more and more popular with the American people.

Preemption

With all the U.S. media’s attention to the Iraq war, there is virtually no more mention of the key U.S. Foreign Policy Pillar of Preemption. Nevertheless, this is the doctrine which Dick Cheney deftly exploited to create the mind set with the American people to justify the invasion and occupation of Iraq. Thus, preemption still is capable of bringing even nuclear harm to those nations which our leader’s decide pose a great threat to the people of our nation. And conspicuously, this lethal doctrine is not close to being abrogated or even renounced as a key foreign policy option.
