Parable of an Exploited Muslim Brother

The Last Will Be First

There were once two brothers born to a wonderful, loving Father. One brother was exceptionally proficient in using the precise vocabulary set forth in the family guide book. This important book prescribed the proper words and terms for the sons to use in their relationship with their father. However, due to the luxurious life styles this brother had chosen for the elite members of his family to follow, there was another teaching in the book which this brother’s family found quite convenient to totally ignore. In order to maintain many in their family’s wasteful life styles, the entire family had become exceptionally dependent on the fuel which was controlled by the family of the other less weaponized brother and would kill and did kill in order to keep the fuel flowing.

Thus, the one family often chose to pressure, manipulate and force the other brother’s family to conduct themselves in the precise way that would maximize the fuel available to the fuel guzzling family. So this resulted in this family virtually ignoring the important commandment in the family book to strive to live at peace with others. So in order to keep the maximum fuel flowing, this brother’s family decided that it was justified to wantonly violate this important teaching of the family book. So it kept other’s blood flowing in order to guarantee that the maximum fuel kept flowing. This was considered justified even though it was especially the blood of the family of the other brother, and even much blood from his own family that continued to flow. This family considered it absolutely necessary that the red blood and the black oil both continued to flow. This family thought that their privileged life style was equally dependent on the steady flow of both precious liquids.

The Other Brother

The other brother, due to unusual circumstances, had only very limited access to the family book. Consequently, his family had much less exposure to the precise words to use in relating to the father. Also, this brother’s family had even been conditioned by its different family book to be wary of some of what they considered to be excesses in the vocabulary of the other brother’s family which appeared to bring dishonor on the Father. Consequently, the differences in vocabulary and perspective used by the other family caused both families to have different perceptions on the precise role of the special messenger that the Father personally sent to the families of both brothers.

However, recently some new important information became available to the family who had less access to the original book. Consequently, exceedingly large numbers of this family had begun to greatly grow in their appreciation of the death and subsequent triumph over death of the Father’s special messenger. Consequently, both families soon equally understood the great sacrifice that the special messenger had made for the welfare of both families.

(Significantly, this great triumph by the messenger over wrong and injustice was accomplished in a certain holy city held in high esteem by both families. In fact, both the ugly murder and glorious triumph over death occurred in this holy city when the very unappreciative and stubborn son of this same Father had unsuccessfully attempted to end forever the life of his own father’s messenger. Even more remarkedly, the powerful and arrogant fuel guzzling and blood shedding family inexplicably always supported and favored the unjust executioner’s family in their comprehensive land takeover from the exploited family. They steadfastly continued to provide this support for this aggressive family even though this eldest brother’s family has dispossessed the family that formerly lived in the land of 88.5% of their land that they formerly possessed.)

It must be stated that another exceptionally regrettable circumstance affecting other’s attitude toward the victimized family is that a small percentage of this family has often felt compelled to shed innocent blood to protest the arrogance and aggressiveness of the two other families who have teamed up against them. For this unnecessary killing, they are called terrorists. But much of their motivation is their deep resentment of the more weaponized families for callously considering themselves entitled to maintain lifestyles that has required their shedding so much innocent blood. But they justify the bloodshed by convincing themselves that they have this inherent right to ruthlessly control the less weaponized in order to insure that the fuel will always continuously flow that supports their lifestyle.

But with the regrettable exception of the few who attempt to violently disrupt this lifestyle, the majority of this exploited family is now exceptionally enthusiastic about loyalty to not only the Father but also to the father’s Messenger. Nevertheless, this family is still unable to force themselves to adopt the precise vocabulary that seems to be encouraged by the first book that is supposedly the guide book for the heavily weaponized family.

So I ask you for your opinion. Which family is now more pleasing to the Father? Is it the family that uses all the apparent proper vocabulary in relating to the Father, but considers it as irrelevant if it consistently disobeys the Father by shedding much blood so that it can arrogantly compel others to support its privileged and exploitive life style? Or is the other brother’s family, who may not use all of the vocabulary that appears to be described in the first book, but who has learned enthusiastically to love the Father with their heart, mind, soul and spirit, and who often loves their neighbors as themselves, who is now more pleasing to the Father? And please base your answer on what you think is a just Father’s perspective who has always equally loved the families of both of these sons?
