115 Days of Considering Israel's Cruel Injustice

Dear Citizens of all Nations,

I have recently returned to the U.S. from living for 115 days in the hill country near Salt, Jordan. At night from the windows of our home on a high hill we can see the lights from the illegally occupied West Bank as a helpful reminder of the gross injustice there.

Each day I read the always insightful but usually depressing editorials in the English language 'Jordan Times'. Various writers deplored Israel's continuing to plant new illegal colonies on the illegally occupied Palestinian West Bank. The editorials revealed the cruel poison arrows of injustice being shot daily into the already wounded hearts of defenseless victims. Tragically, despite both Muslim and Christian Arab writers faithfully exposing Israeli and U.S. wickedness, the deplorable conditions for Palestinians consistently get worse.

Shamefully, my own calloused leaders, cheered on by U.S. radio and television commentators, continue their relentless, brazen drumbeat of unqualified support for the illegal Israeli occupiers. By logical extension our lopsided support of the calloused law breakers leaves us de facto despising the Palestinian victims while we enthusiastically support Israel's pervasive crimes against them.

This results in GOD/ALLAH observing our American nation evilly disregarding the anguished cries of even women and children. They desperately cry for help to our deaf ears and our blind eyes.

The much beloved but recently deceased Palestinian poet, Mahmoud Darwish penned this reality about the devastating psychological impact that Israel's inhumane policies have on the virtually imprisoned Palestinian people.

"The Palestinians are the only people in the world that feels with certainty that today is better than what the days ahead will hold. Tomorrow always heralds a worse situation".

Imagine this harsh reality if you are able. Each day, year after year, every Palestinian family wakes up facing worse conditions than the day before, knowing that every tomorrow will be even worse. It should be no surprise that there are times when enraged Palestinians kill other Palestinians. Their land-hungry occupier is, with the aid and blessing of the U.S., missing no opportunity to assassinate hope, murder justice and bury truth.

I soon realized that I was observing through my daily reading a purposeful attempt by Israel to commit psychological genocide against another nation. And neither the U.N. nor the U.S. is doing anything to replace gross injustice with even moderate justice. The awful reality is that the supposed plan of the smiling Bush-man to bring anything resembling a true viable Palestinian State has now become no more than a cruel joke.

The crime I was observing made me feel so helpless. I cried out to ALLAH and pondered. Two papers, "Will Muslim Leaders Refuse to Rescue Islam?" and “U.S. Leaders Worship Ugly Israeli Idol" were the result of my desperate prayers. I sincerely hope that the radical justice based concepts I discuss in these papers will assist Muslims, in exposing to the world, Israel's blatant crimes which are being subsidized by the U.S.

It will be only ALLAH who fully comprehends how evil it is for our world to continue to tolerate Israel's brutal, inhumane, cruelty toward the Palestinian nation and people.

Please feel free to copy and pass along this letter and to read the above two papers on www.alqasas.net.

Respectfully,
Tom Griffith
