Al-Qur'ans Own Amazing Account of ALLAH's Mighty Isa al-Mesiah
"And your Lord comes with his angels' row upon row."
How do we know that the Qur'ans magnificent declaration of our Lord coming with angels as proclaimed in Al-Fajr (The Dawn) 89:22 is actually ALLAH's Risen Isa al-Mesiah? And it is not ALLAH Himself who is here spoken of as our Lord coming with Angels to judge us?
The reason for this understanding is because respected Muslim theologians are in virtual unanimous agreement that ALLAH Himself fills our entire Universe. Therefore, they say it is incorrect to speak of ALLAH moving from place to place or going or coming. And there is also total agreement that the Qur'an would not speak incorrectly about such an important event. Therefore, it is definitely Isa al-Mesiah who the Qur'an authoritatively speaks of as coming with Angels to judge as is spoken of in a very similar phrase in several places through out the previous Scriptures. These earlier Scriptures, which the Qur'an confirms, trace the first similar proclamation all the way back to the ancient, ancient Prophet Enoch. Please read this very relevant quotation from the Writer Jude in the next to last book in the New Testament in the letter by his name.
"Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these men: 'See the Lord is coming with thousands of his holy ones to judge everyone
'"
So this marvelous coming of our Risen Isa al-Mesiah is quite possibly the very next major public event that will occur for our now Risen, still Living Messiah.
It is absolutely amazing how so little comprehensive perspective that both Muslim and Christian Scholars and the rest of us have of the major role that the Holy Qur'an reveals to us about Isa al-Mesiah. However, once we take the effort to understand that this Holy Book deserves we will know that it provides a comprehensive portrait of ALLAH's now Risen, Compassionate Messiah.
There is no doubt that a large amount of the responsibility for appearing to minimize the vital historical role of our Messiah in the Qur'an, is the unique perspective of the Qur'an that held that Christians and others were responsible for distorting certain teachings regarding GOD's Messiah. So the Qur'an assumes the role of being a corrective of potential over zealous Christian doctrines.
Therefore, because in many ways the Qur'an has been a corrective, it has been somewhat natural that reader's of the Quran would become partially preoccupied with the corrective aspect regarding the Messiah and would be hesitant to recognize the absolutely amazing, mighty, compassionate Messiah whom the Qur'an definitely proclaims. Therefore, once both Muslims and Christians can release themselves from the corrective emphasis, they can finally realize and appreciate that there is an extremely valuable second side of the valuable perspective in the Qur'an about ALLAH's Messiah in addition to the corrective side which often only emphasizes controversial issues. So here we go in finally giving the overly due recognition of the Qur'an's amazing portrayal of ALLAH's own Anointed, Mighty Messiah.
- It is no small thing for GOD's Messiah to have been born of a pure virgin, the Virgin Maryam/Mary who had not been touched by a man. (Surah 19, Maryam, verses 20 and 21.)
"She said: 'How can I have a son when no man has touched me, nor am I unchaste?'"
"He said: 'So (it will be) your Lord said, That is easy for (ALLAH).'"
- Uniquely, the Qur'an is so emphatic about how wonderful it was that ALLAH chose the virgin Maryam/Mary to bear His Messiah that the Qur'an takes a gracious step. The Qur'an awards special recognition to a person whom the earlier Scriptures do not even mention. The Qur'an gives special honor to the Messiah's grandmother on his mother's side, Maryam's own mother. So the birth of Maryam herself is described in An-Imran 3:35, 36 which included a unique recognition of her own mother.
"Behold! A woman of Imran said, 'O my Lord! I do dedicate unto thee what is in my womb for thy service
'"
"When she was delivered she said
'I am delivered of a female child
I have named her Maryam/Mary.'"
- From the very time that it was first announced to Maryam/Mary that she was to have a son it was emphasized that ALLAH would appoint him to be a unique Sign among men and a special Mercy from GOD and be a matter decreed from GOD. (See Surah Maryam 19:21.)
"And (we) appoint him as a Sign unto men and a Mercy from Us and as a matter decreed."
- So important and super-significant was the birth of Isa al-Mesiah to the Creator of the Universe that He both foreordained His birth and He also commanded that his birth take place. (Al-Imran 3:47.)
"She said: 'O my Lord, how shall I have a son when no man has touched me?' He said, Even so: ALLAH creates what He wills. When he has decreed a plan, He but saith to it, Be, and it is!'"
- The Messiah's special virgin birth was a major miracle that GOD ordained for the benefit of and as a sign for all mankind. (Please read the Qur'an, Al-Anbiya 21:91.)
"And (remember) her who guarded her chastity: We breathed into her of Our Spirit, and We made her and her Son a Sign for all peoples."
- The day of the Messiah birth was blessed with peace by GOD, as was the day of his death as also the day that ALLAH raised him up alive. (Maryam 19:33.)
"So peace is on me the Day I was born, the Day that I die and the Day that I shall be raised to life."
In the very next verse after the verse blessing these three significant events, the Qur'an accurately prophesies that there would be dispute about the birth, death, and being raised alive of Isa, son of Maryam/Mary. But significantly, there was absolutely no prophesy that there would be similar dispute about the birth, death, and being raised to life of Yahya (John the Baptist) although there was a similar verse about these similar three events in his life. But there was absolutely no controversy about either his birth, his death, or in his future being raised alive. So this indicates that the verse about Isa and the parallel verse about Yahya should be understood slightly differently, with Isa experiencing death like the Baptist most certainly did, but with experiencing a resurrection that Yahya has not yet experienced. So if the similarity in the two verses is emphasized, it follows that Isa's death must be accepted.
- It is emphasized in the Qur'an that GOD sent his Spirit to Mary not to just give GOD a son through her virgin womb, but to give her a son who would be sinless/holy. (Surah Maryam 19:17, 19.)
"He said: Nay, I am only a messenger from the Lord (to announce) to thee the gift of a holy son."
- Not only was The Messenger Messiah who was sent, sent from GOD, but the message was that he had been sent down, implying that he was sent from his origin in heaven. (Al-Imran 3:53.)
"Our Lord! We believe in what you have sent down and we follow the messenger
"
- Isa obediently only said to the people what GOD commanded him to say. (Al-Mai'idah 5:116, 117.)
"Never did I say to them anything except what you did command me to say."
- The Qur'an makes it clear that the disbelievers constantly plotted to kill Isa/Jesus. (Al-Imran 3:54.)
"And they (disbelievers) plotted to kill Isa/Jesus and ALLAH planned too. And ALLAH is the best of planners."
- The Qur'an makes it clear that ALLAH said that He would cause Isa to die using a precise Arabic verb meaning causing to die although the English translation of this verb in the Qur'an purposely does not clearly reveal this meaning of causing to die. (Surah Al-Imran 3:55.)
"Behold! ALLAH said: 'O' Isa! I will take thee and raise thee to Myself.'" But it should have said, "cause you to die" instead of using the misleading phrase "take thee." (See also how this precise, strong verb mutawafik should affect the understanding of An-Nisa 4:158 about ALLAH truly raising him after his death which definitely occurred.)
- The Qur'an is emphatic that ALLAH can do all things including causing the son of Maryam/Mary to die. (See Surah Al-Ma'idah 5:17 not 5:117.)
"If His will were to destroy Christ, The Son of Maryam and everyone that is on the earth? For to ALLAH belongeth the dominion of the heavens and the earth
for ALLAH has power over all things."
- When ALLAH caused the Messiah to die and took him up, ALLAH Himself was the watcher over all involved and was a witness to the whole occurrence of the Messiah dying, and being raised alive. (Al Ma'idah 5:117.)
"When thou didst take me up thou was the watcher over them, and thou are a witness to all things."
- Isa was one of the messengers who was killed by Israel (Al- Baqara 2:87 and Al-Ma'idah 5:70.)
"We gave Isa, the Son of Maryam clear (signs) and strengthened him with the Holy Spirit. Is it that whenever there comes to you a messenger with what you yourselves desire not... some you called imposters and others you slay?"
- The Jews killed Isa and other Prophets. (Al Baqara 2:91) and the Qur'am makes no exception that he Prophet Isa was not slain, implying that he was slain.
"Why then have you slain the Prophets of ALLAH in times gone by
?"
- It was not the Jews or the Roman's who were his killers because it was GOD's plan. (Al Anfal 8:17.)
"It is not you who slew them, it was ALLAH."
- In light of all the variety of verses that there are in the Holy Qur'an which in some way mention the Messiah Isa's death, there is one reality that becomes quite obvious. And that is that the one isolated verse out of all of the hundreds of verses in the Qur'an, which is the only one that appears to teach that the Messiah was not forever killed, truly only means that it only appeared (shubbiiha lahum) to the Jews that he was permanently killed when he was really only temporarily killed. Because, as the next verse authoritatively and triumphantly tells us, it was ALLAH's eternal Wisdom and his eternal Might that brought him new life. So it would have been technically wrong for the Qur'an to say that he was permanently killed. But it was not technically wrong to say that it only appeared to them (shubbiiha lahum) that he had been permanently killed. So it was only conjecture on the Jew's part that he had been permanently killed because he had only been temporarily killed. So the Qur'an's verse An-Nisa 4:157 is telling the absolute truth when it states that he was not killed or not crucified because he was only temporarily killed and only temporarily crucified. Both the words killed and crucified imply permanence when there definitely was not permanence. There only appeared (shubbiiha) to be permanence about his death.
For Muslim leaders to take their misunderstanding of this one profound verse that only appears before close examination, to teach that ALLAH's Messiah was not even temporarily killed, when other verses such as 3:55 so definitely teach Isa's death, it is injurious and unreasonable. It is strongly wrong that Muslim leaders use this one isolated verse in order to cancel other clear verses in the Holy Qur'an which definitely confirms his death.
The way this verse is wrongly used to cancel other verses in the Qur'an, is not only quite damaging to the entire cause of Islam. But more specifically it truly damages Muslim women and girls by callously robbing them of having a compassionate Risen Advocate who truly understands them. For if ALLAH's Messiah did not experience a temporary death, he also did not experience a glorious resurrection brought about by ALLAH's own eternal Wisdom and Might. To suggest that our Supreme ALLAH needed to resort to His Eternal Wisdom and Might to pull of a CIA type identity switch is dishonoring to ALLAH. But he did need to employ His eternal Wisdom and eternal Might to raise His Messiah from death to life.
To use an English metaphor, by totally cancelling the other verses about the now Risen Messiah's death, not only do Muslim leaders shoot themselves in the foot, but by taking this unwise, unreasonable action, they are also shooting themselves in the head. I hope I am not being too offensive when I say that these leaders appear to be acting like a small army of irrational Ahmedinejads.
This current President of Iran truly desires to lead his people in resisting unjust Israeli policies. Nevertheless, with consistent remarks from his unwise lips, he ends up substantially assisting Israel. Similarly, Islamic leaders have many legitimate reasons to both expose and resist current Israeli unjust activities and immoral policies. But by totally releasing historic Israeli leaders from ethical and spiritual responsibility for the albeit temporary, but brutal murder of ALLAH's own Messiah that they very publicly committed, these current Muslim leaders consistently aid and abet the current, expanding Nation of Israel in its world-wide public relations victories. And that aggressive nation vitally needs these victories in order to maintain its present propaganda advantage over the often exploited Arab Muslims and especially over the often unjustly depised both Muslim and Christian Palestinians.
- Isa like no other man in history, will be ALLAH's sign for the Hour of Judgment. (Al Zukhruf 43:61.)
"And (Isa) shall be a sign (for the coming of) the Hour (of Judgment)."
- ALLAH aided Isa with the Holy Spirit like he aided no other person in the history of man. (Al Baqarah 2:87, 2:253, and Al-Ma'idah 5:110.)
"We gave Isa, the son of Mary, clear (Signs) and strengthened him with the Holy Spirit. (Al Ma'idah 5; 110.)
Behold! I strengthened thee with the Holy Spirit."
- Yahya/John the Baptist, who himself experienced a virtual supernatural birth, had his elderly father proclaim before Yahya was born that Yahya would witness to the truth of Isa whom he called the exceptionally honorable name of a Word from ALLAH. (Al Imran 3:39.)
"The angels called unto him: ALLAH doth give thee glad tidings of Yahya witnessing the truth of a Word from ALLAH."
- The angels announced to the Virgin Maryam that not only would the child that she would bear, be eminent (held in honor) in this present world but that he would also be eminent in the coming world. (Al Imran 3:45.)
"Behold! The angels said: O Maryam! ALLAH giveth thee glad tidings of a Word from Him: his name will be the Messiah Isa, the son of Maryam, held in honor in this world and the Hereafter."
- Isa is identified as being in the very privileged group of being near to ALLAH Himself. (Al Imran 3:45.)
"Messiah Isa
of those nearest to ALLAH."
- ALLAH uniquely blessed Isa no matter where he was so he is still being blessed in heaven now. (Maryam 19:31.)
"And He has made me blessed wheresoever I be."
- Isa made it clear that those who were helping him were helping ALLAH. (Conversely, those who ignore helping Isa actually ignore helping ALLAH Himself.) (Al-Imran 3:52.)
"He (Isa) said: 'Who will be my helpers in the work of ALLAH?'"
- ALLAH emphatically declared to Isa that He would make his followers superior to those who rejected faith by not following him. (Al Imran 3:55.)
"I will make those who follow thee superior to those who reject faith until the Day of Resurrection."
- ALLAH made it clear to Isa that he had the authority to both punish or to forgive those who served him. (Al-Ma'idah 5:118.)
"If thou dost punish them, they are thy servants: If thou dost forgive them, thou art the exalted in power, the wise."
- Isa, similar to what the Qur'an also does, confirmed the law in the Old Testament. (Al Imran 3:50, Al-Ma'idah 5:46.)
"I have come to you to attest to the law that was before me."
- GOD commanded Isa to pray and give alms. (Qur'an 19:31.)
"He has enjoined on me prayer and charity us long as I live."
- It is exceptionally significant that the Holy Quran in An-Nisa, the very same surah that reveals that it appeared to the Jews (shubbiiha lahum) that they had killed him permanently when they had only killed him temporarily, because ALLAH used His own Wisdom and His own Might to raise him up alive to Himself, that instantly after the two verses about his temporary death and his being raised alive, this very significant verse about Isa witnessing against them on the Day of Judgment is immediately presented. (An-Nisa 4:159.)
"And there is none of the People of the Book, but must believe in him before his (temporary) death (that occurred); and on the Day of Judgment he will be a witness against them.
- Isa, during his life, did not only give sight to the blind. But he also got into great trouble with the Jewish leaders because he totally exposed their callousness about not allowing healing on the Sabbath, by on the legal Sabbath Day, he opened the eyes of a man who had been born blind. (Injel/John 9) and (Qur'an-Al Imran 3:49 and Al-Ma'idah 5:110.)
"And I heal those born blind
"
- The Qur'an also emphasizes in these same verses in two different places that by ALLAH's leave Isa al-Mesiah also healed the dreadful disease of leprosy and gave new life to those who had died. (Al Imran 3:49 and Al-Ma'idah 5:110.)
"I heal those born blind and the lepers and I quicken the dead by ALLAH's leave."
"And thou healest those born blind and the lepers by My leave and behold! Thou bringest forth the dead by My leave."
- And for those who may wrongly believe that it is against ALLAH's will to have faith in the Messiah, the Qur'an in Al-Ma'idah 5:111 encourages this faith in ALLAH's Messiah.
"And behold! I inspired the Disciples to have faith in me."
- The Qur'an is emphatic that ALLAH gave miracles to Isa. (Al Baqara 2:87 and 2:253.)
"We gave Isa, the son of Maryam clear (Signs) and strengthened him."
"To Isa, the son of Maryam, we gave Clear Signs and strengthened him with the Holy Spirit."
- The Qur'an makes clear that Isa had a responsibility to help the Jews on issues on which they were in dispute. (Al-Zukhruf 43:63.)
"Now I come to you with Wisdom and in order to make clear to you some of which you dispute."
- The Qur'an makes it clear that ALLAH caused Isa to follow in the lineage of the former Jewish Prophets. (Al-Ma'idah 5:46.)
"And in their footsteps We sent Isa the son of Maryam, confirming the law that had come before him and we sent him the Gospel; therein was guidance and light
"
- The Qur'an emphasized in this one concise verse that Al-Mesiah Isa is:
- The son of Maryam/Mary.
- Is a messenger of ALLAH;
- Is ALLAH's very Word that He bestowed on Maryam;
- And is a Spirit that preceded directly from the presence of ALLAH. (Al-Nisa 4:171.)
In this one unique verse Isa-al Mesiah is so honored that he is recognized for no less than these four amazing distinctions:
- Being the son of a mother who was actually still a virgin when she gave birth to him.
- Has the honor of being a Messenger of the glorious ALLAH.
- Is honored as a Spirit from ALLAH Himself.
- Is even further honored as being ALLAH's actual Word.
But in one profound and not simplistic earlier verse in this same amazing Surah, An-Nisa, an irresponsible and superficial interpretation has unfortunately been made by Muslim leaders regarding this one verse. Their misleading interpretation and incorrect explanation has resulted in this one isolated verse out of all the verses in the Quran being interpreted in this wrong way. Consequently, this one wrong interpretation casts a long dark shadow over the whole Surah of An-Nisa which in Arabic equals the English word women. Thus, as long as this prevailing wrong understanding is allowed to live in the hearts and minds of sincere Muslim men and women as an actual authoritative teaching of the Holy Quran, something very injurious and hurtful occurs to especially ALLAH's precious Muslim women and girls. This false teaching negatively impacts these women by preventing them from benefiting by enjoying the support of ALLAH's compassionate Risen Messiah being spiritually present among them and being their living supporter and advocate in a sometimes less than understanding predominantly male dominated environment.
It is an absolute irony that this travesty of justice for women in Islam occurs in the very Surah that is named An-Nisa in honor of women.
My question is, would the predominately male dominated Islam allow such a case of injustice to occur regarding this one profound verse if the Surah was not named after women? So would this wrong understanding that so injuriously impacts women be allowed to remain if the verse were located in a Surah that Muslim men wanted to be proud of? Perhaps my question is irrelevant. Nevertheless, what a terrible dark mark has unnecessarily occurred against this one Surah in the Holy Qur'an named after women in addition to Surah (Maryam/Mary) which is named after the Virgin Mother of ALLAH's Risen Messiah. So would Muslim men allow such injustice to occur in the Surah honoring women if this wrong interpretation would have occurred in a Surah uniquely named to honor men?
Yet, it is this same Surah that is the only Surah in the Qur'an to contain another verse that compresses no less than four distinct honors for the Messiah into this other very profound verse in this same Women Surah. Yet, it is in this same woman Surah that contains this other profound verse which is wrongly interpreted so as to invalidate the Messiah's temporary death. But the verse should have been interpreted to invalidate only his permanent death. Because he was definitely not killed permanently, but only appeared to be (shubbiiha) killed permanently.
It becomes obvious that when this verse is evaluated carefully in its context and when all of the other verses in the Holy Quran are factored in that in one way or another mention the temporary death of ALLAH's Messiah whose death was appropriately and wonderfully cancelled by ALLAH's Wisdom and Might when ALLAH gave him a glorious resurrection. So that resurrection made it very clear what the intended meaning of 4:147 actually is. It means in light of the next verse describing his being raised alive, that it only appeared to the Jews (shubbiiha lahum) that they had accomplished their sinister purpose of ending his life forever. For causing to be dead forever is what killed and crucified actually mean - forever dead.
Thus, Muslim leaders have temporarily brought dishonor on this whole wonderful Surah al-Nisa by actually attempting to soil the exalted honor of ALLAH by claiming by their wrong interpretation of shubbiiha lahum that ALLAH Himself was involved in a professional CIA type jail break and cover up. In this secret jail break and cover up, it is alleged by these confused leaders that ALLAH supposedly shamefully used His own eternal Wisdom and Might to aid and abet Isa in deceptively sneaking away from his own sanctioned execution by the Roman Governor Pilate even though the execution was totally unjust.
Please pause a minute and ponder this important point. Isn't involvement in such a CIA type jail break and identity switch far below ALLAH's sublime dignity? Would our Holy GOD who abhors deceit, have actually needed to resort to His own eternal Wisdom and eternal Might in order to pull off this type of identity switch? And would the Holy Qur'an make one of most dramatic concise proclamations about ALLAH's eternal Wisdom and eternal Might in order to celebrate a deceptive jail break and identity switch. This is far, far below what the Holy Qur'an would emphasize that ALLAH's eternal Wisdom and His eternal Might had been used accomplish. But for ALLAH to employ his eternal Wisdom and eternal Might to triumphantly and miraculously raise his temporarily murdered innocent Messiah from death, that magnificent supernatural act truly deserved in order to accomplish His eternal Wisdom and His eternal Might.
But now we will return to the one glorious verse in this Surah named to honor women that so specifically honors women's Messiah and gloriously honors Islam's entire Messiah. But as we read this marvelous verse and observe the four uniquely separate honors the Messiah receives from ALLAH, can our minds possibly conceive of this faithful servant of ALLAH that the Messiah still is, being involved with the majestic ALLAH in the night time jail break and cover up that Muslim leaders allege that both he and ALLAH were supposedly involved in. May ALLAH and His Risen Messiah forgive these misguided Muslim leaders for the way they have unintendedly brought shame and even ridicule both upon ALLAH and His now Risen Messiah for being involved in such a ridiculous identity switch. (An-Nisa 4:171.)
Christ Jesus the son of Maryam was a messenger of ALLAH and His Word which he bestowed on Mary and a Spirit proceeding from Him.
- The day that Isa was raised was blessed. (An Nisa 19:33.) (A personal note.) Since my main message to all Muslims is that ALLAH supernaturally and gloriously raised Isa from death to be alive with Him, and to be spiritually present with Muslims, I take it as a personal encouragement and sign that this verse that so emphatically proclaims Isa to be blessed on the days of his birth, death, and resurrection, has the same designation as the year of my own birth, 1933. (An Nisa 19:33.)
Blessed by the day that
I shall be raised up to life (again)
Such (was) Isa the son of Mary. (An Nisa 19:33, 35.)
- ALLAH was not regretful that in order to fulfill his plan for man that He would need to cause Isa to die. Because He absolutely knew that very soon after his temporary death He would use His Own eternal Wisdom and eternal Might to raise Isa to Himself, quickly, in effect, gloriously canceling his temporary death. (This attitude of mind about him soon being raised alive after his temporary death, was quite parallel with the Prophet Abraham not being reluctant to cause his own son to die because he knew he would soon be raised alive because he had faith that GOD would soon raise him up alive. He figuratively was raised alive when just as the knife was about to come down, a sacrificial ram was provided to be sacrificed instead and his son was raised up from certain death to life.) (Al Imran 3:55.) (See also Al-Saffat 37:101-107 when ALLAH provided a Mighty Sacrifice so that Abraham's son would not permanently die.)
"Behold! ALLAH said: 'O Isa! I will cause you to die and raise you to Myself and clear you of those who blaspheme.'"
- The Qur'an reveals that ALLAH is the source of Isa's revelation which are his words contained in the Scriptures and reveals that it is ALLAH who had made him a Prophet and a Servant. (Maryam 19:30.)
"He said: I am indeed a servant of ALLAH: He has given me Revelation and made me a Prophet."
- The Messiah was not arrogant as many American political leaders are, so that he was not at all reluctant to be ALLAH's servant. (An-Nisa 4:172.)
"Christ disdained not to serve and worship ALLAH."
The Significance
I believe that it is appropriate that I have concluded these multiple verses from the Holy Qur'an about the mighty uniqueness of Isa with a short, concise verse also emphasizing the humility of ALLAH's Risen Messiah that the Qur'an emphasizes in this one unique verse. Whether we like it or not, much of what goes on in our broken, often hurtful world is based on power. And the power which men attain often breeds arrogance. And this distasteful arrogance is a polar opposite of humility. But you cannot possibly seriously consider the content of all these verses from the Qur'an that have been cited in this paper about Isa without being overwhelmingly impressed with the unequalled power that ALLAH had bestowed on His Messiah. Yes, his compassion for the poor, his compassion for the powerless, his compassion for the blind, his compassion for the hungry, his compassion for the depised leper, all leap out of both the pages of the Holy Qur'an and also the pages of the Injil. Yet, the fact that this compassionate, powerful Risen Messiah even today, remains alive and lives among us is mostly forgotten or ignored by Islam.
Therefore, since the Messiah is proclaimed in the Qur'an to be both imminent in this world and in the next world and has even been given the unique power to judge, to forgive, and to bring certain deceased persons back to life, you would normally expect that Muslims would be exceptionally proud of this unique man who is so prominently revealed in so many pages of their Qur'an and that they are taught that he still remains alive and will return to Judge.
Regretfully, that pride and honor is not the attitude I encounter among my Middle Eastern Muslim friends. But I cannot fault them or their somewhat reticent attitude that I encounter among Muslims that they do not begin to give their Messiah even a small fraction of the credit and honor that the Holy Qur'an so unreservedly bestows upon him. For I think that due to the sometimes overbearing wrong attitude of Christianity that it is only Christians who have answers, has naturally made Muslims justifiably reluctant to trust Christians. Thus, they are also naturally reluctant to trust the Risen Messiah whom Christians proclaim. Therefore, Muslims marginalize the fact that Isa/Messiah is Islam's glorious Risen Messiah, and therefore they fail to trust this vital message and amazing portrayal in their own Qur'an.
As an apparent defensive measure, it appears that Muslims have a tendency to be preoccupied with what they believe that ALLAH's Risen Messiah is not rather than with the power and honor that he still has. So Muslims remain preoccupied with him not being GOD's Son instead of who the Qur'an proclaims that he is, of unequalled eminence in both this world and in the world to come. To allow nearsighted, sometimes power hungry Muslim leaders to disallow the compassionate Risen Isa al-Mesiah of today to spiritually advocate for sometimes emotionally lonely and bruised Muslim women, is just plain counter-productive, calloused and not fair. And besides that, this predominantly negative analyzing and unfair minimizing and marginalizing of ALLAH's Risen Messiah is not at all pleasing to ALLAH. And those sometimes selfish men will certainly hear about the wrongness of their negative emphasis regarding their Messiah at the future Day of Judgment when the Risen Messiah will have significant observable authority.
So the Muslim Mid East needs a new dawn, a new Al Fajr dominated not by Western arrogance, but by the Humility and Wisdom of ALLAH's Risen Messiah. So we will conclude this paper with the ancient, ancient Prophet Enonch being virtually quoted in the Qur'an's Al Fajr 89:22.
"And thy Lord cometh and his angels rank upon rank."
But it will make a difference if we welcome him spiritually into our hearts before we are tangibly introduced to him at our Judgment at that new Dawn or new Fajr so eloquently spoken of in this one brief verse virtually hidden away near the end of the Holy Qur'an.
My question is, do the leaders of Islam who have made the influential decisions on what the Holy Qur'an actually teaches and states about Isa al-Mesiah, actually read the Qur'an and think about what the verses about ALLAH's Risen Messiah truly say and the resulting implications of their message. I definitely do not think that they do read the Holy Qur'an and give serious consideration to what these important Messiah verses actually say. For if these responsible men did think about these verses' content and their implications, they would be trembling and trembling and trembling for the way they de facto dishonor him by de facto disregarding him, marginalizing him, and minimizing him.
Here is a Prophet of ALLAH about whom the Qur'an makes it abundantly clear that he has demonstrated a unique link with ALLAH Himself including his now being alive in His Holy presence at this very time. Not even the Prophet Muhammad's recognition as the Seal of the Prophets can excel above ALLAH's Messiah's demonstrated unique link with ALLAH. Yet, while Muhammad consistently receives the honor that is due him, both in and out of the Qur'an, ALLAH's totally unique Messiah who also has been battle tested and passed the multiple tests, is generally being treated by Islam like he is very stale piece of Arab bread who has virtually no relevance to modern day Islam. Nevertheless, it is obvious that Islam today requires as much help from ALLAH as ALLAH will provide. And ALLAH has provided that help in the person of His now Living Messiah. But His Messiah is given very inadequate positive recognition by Islam. This insult is a definite sign of un-appreciation to ALLAH for providing Islam with such a wonderful gift of His own Risen Messiah. Also, in a vivid contrast to the recognition that His Messiah does not receive from Islam, His Messiah is appropriately given abundant positive recognition by the Holy Qur'an and by the Prophet Muhammad in the Qur'an.
It truly appears that today an unfavorable phenomenon is occurring within complacent, unenergetic Islamic leadership. It truly appears that these leaders, by ignoring ALLAH's Risen Messiah, are administering a Sunset for Islam rather than concentrating on a New Bright Dawn with ALLAH's Messiah bringing them abundant light. For the Messiah did authoritatively announce at a Jewish celebration:
"I am the Light of the World. He who follows me (or the people who truly follow me) (not the ones who just make a show of Christianity) will have the light of life."
So Muslim leaders will soon need to figure out if the truths written in the Holy Qur'an about the Messiah are true and relevant. They will also need to decide if the above words about him being light for this dark world are also true and are worth acting upon. For if it is decided that these words spoken by a man who proved his authenticity by raising the dead and giving sight to those born blind, are not considered worthy of being taken seriously, the entire people of Islam are in much more trouble than I previously thought.
In wonderful contrast to such a negative decision by Muslim leaders, if these words spoken by the Messiah are sufficiently acted upon, Islam's darkness will turn to light at the very time that western Christianity's light appears to be dimming and virtually turning to darkness due to its idols, its arrogance and its complacency. So now is not the time for Islam to duplicate Western Christianity's vapid, unwise, complacency by also turning to idols, to arrogance and to complacency. For Christianity in the West is itself abandoning GOD's Risen Messiah and is replacing him with man-made prosperous, lucrative Christianity that is often spiritually empty and quite displeasing to both GOD and to his Living Messiah. So may ALLAH soon help Islam to be much wiser than Western Christianity now is.

It may seem strange, and indeed it is strange that this very amateur writer chooses to conclude this paper about ALLAH's Risen Messiah in the Holy Qur'an, with important insights and quotes from the very secular, The Nation magazine. But it may not seem so irrelevant or strange that I was originally introduced to reading the insights of this amazing magazine when I heard somewhere around seven years ago about an article mainly about the present ruler of Jordan entitled Kingdom of Corruption.
But the point I will now be making is not about any corruption that may or may not currently exist in Jordan. Rather, I will now briefly reference the much worse fraud, corruption, deception, and deceit that has recently permeated the highest levels of the U.S. government, and also the U.S. financial system. And shamefully, this decay and corruption has even prevented the six Catholic Justices of the current U.S. Supreme Court from publicly condemning their own world wide Roman Catholic Church from doing much more speaking out about justice for the thousands of child sexual victims of hundreds of Roman Catholic Priest sexual predators.
Something the U.S. highly values is our cherished separation of Church and State while Islam does not separate responsible Islam from responsible leaders. But when the Church of the Living Christ is actually being truly moral and ethical and not promoting narrow national issues, but the issues that are truly valued by the GOD who sent His now Risen Messiah into this world, He does not value this separation between religious values and justices which is legally mandated in the U.S. Rather, He has called His Messiah's followers to be salt and light to both the government and to the very relevant and related financial valuable system. But in the U.S., the persons who claim to make-up the Church of the Risen Messiah have been abysmal, wretched failures of being salt and light to both the government and to the financial system.
Thus, it is for primarily this reason that the eternal Wisdom and eternal Might of ALLAH (Please reference The Qur'an's, An Nisa 4:158 about ALLAH's use of His eternal Wisdom and His eternal Might) has found it necessary to raise up other alternative courageous voices for Truth and Justice. So different servants of GOD such as the atheist, Christopher Hitchens, Comedy Central's Jon Stewart, and the outspoken contributors to The Nation magazine, and also at times MSNBC's Justice oriented Keith Olbermann and equally justice oriented, Rachel Maddow and many others who have faithfully filled in the enormous gap. For the hard truth is, just as this paper his been critical of Muslim leaders for missing in the Holy Qur'an, the Qur'an's strong emphasis on ALLAH's own now Risen Messiah, Christian leaders in the U.S. have made an equally if not worse grave error in Judgment than Muslims have. They have been, to use a military term, AWOL (Absent With Out Leave) in exposing and condemning and warning about the present fatal disease that is virtually beyond treatment of our sick government and our corrupt world influential financial system. And I emphasize our fatal disease to Muslim leaders so that they will learn from our fraudulent government and diseased financial system that has abandoned GOD's Risen Messiah so that Islam will embrace ALLAH's Risen Messiah. They will join him through the cooperation of ethical Mosques and their government rather than crudely throwing the Risen Messiah under the rapidly sink Ship of State like the rebelling against GOD U.S. leader's have immorally and unwisely done.
Please now contemplate the relevance that this abandonment has to the potentially coming disaster for the formerly partially Christian U.S. by considering these relevant observations by The Nation magazine's brilliant Christopher Hayes in the May 17th issue, appropriately titled: Goners.
He makes the point that "our debacle" in Iraq (that has visited unimagined suffering on innocent Iraqi Muslims and Christians, was originally thought to be a "good faith error".) But rather it turned out to be a deliberate, immoral manipulation of intelligence that was totally corruption rather than being only incompetence.
Then he compares this governments murderous fraud (my label, not his) to the comprehensive financial fraud on Wall Street which has seriously undermined the financial stability of our entire nation and even the world's financial stability clear back to "at the absolute latest, 2001."
Significantly, he compares the highly educated, but extraordinarily wicked financial thieves on Wall Street to the smash and grab looters in New Orleans after Katrina. But in wicked contrast, the Katrina looters were desperate for food, whereas the Wall Street criminals were already wealthy. So please consider how the absurdity in the following quotation reveals how far into the pits of hell the U.S. legal, justice and financial systems have already descended in order to so blatantly favor the wealthy but to really stick it to the poor. But it is for the poor whom both the Holy Qur'an and the previous Scriptures both continually cry out for Justice. But in contrast, ALLAH's Prophet's relentlessly cry out for certain punishment for the wealthy who exploit and grind the faces of the poor to dust and even murder His beloved poor. So please hear this horrible observation from the secular Nation magazine.
"When the starving citizens of New Orleans grabbed food and water from supermarkets to survive, they were met with martial law. (Police shooting guns.) Those from Wall Street, who have looted sums large enough to rebuild New Orleans from the ground up, however, have been spared the indignity of facing criminal sanctions."
Do you think GOD is sleeping while He observes U.S. Christianity, allowing this travesty of justice, with only mainly secularists like The Nation's Christopher Hayes screaming in protest?
In order to achieve some final perspective on how I think GOD views the horrible wickedness of certain evil termite Wall Street brokers, we must face this dreadful reality. These mostly hidden army of insects are not only infinitely greedy, but at this fragile point in the U.S., our broken justice system regrettably has infinite patience with their premeditated evil crime that callously robs millions of elderly retirees and potential retirees of huge chunks of their fragile pension funds.
Though multitudes of this giant army of criminal insects may regularly attend Church and pretend to be Christians, they stubbornly refuse to discontinue their crimes until they have succeeded in destroying our collapsing nation. Because at the present time our accommodating and over burdened legal system which is quite busy putting inconvenient Black and Hispanic Pot peddlers in our over-crowded prisons, is unwilling to eliminate giant legal loopholes. And it is these giant evil loopholes which are purposely created by wealthy lawyers and cooperative Congress persons which allow these infinitely greedy army of white-collar termites to secretly and silently eat away at our nation's collapsing financial foundations.
O please O Muslims! Allow this horrible example of the supposedly Christian U.S. wickedly abandoning the values of GOD's Risen Messiah, shock you into embracing Him!
