ALLAH's Personal Invitation

Put your hand in the hand of
The Murdered man who stilled the waters

Put your hand in the pierced hand
Of the now Risen man who calmed the sea

Bond your heart with the heart
Of GOD's suffering man from Galilee.

Priests murdered him instead of a deserved death
For you and me on Israel's wicked tree.

This short poem unfortunately reflects ugly historical reality. So it does not paint a pretty picture of GOD's ultimate triumph over the wicked interpretation and application by a supposedly chosen people representing institutional religion. But still the being murdered Messiah compassionately prayed for forgiveness for the wicked official priests who were simultaneously at that very moment enjoying the brutal process of torturing and murdering GOD's innocent messenger though He had sent him to restore them to a proper, decent relationship with Himself. Yet, they were murdering him in the name of their twisted, evil, distorted understanding of GOD's historical Biblical based religion handed down to them by the Prophets. But they had turned that once meaningful religion into a legalistic monster that was out to destroy goodness.

Counter-intuitively to man's thinking, but not to GOD's thinking, each of us receives forgiveness from our Holy GOD when we acknowledge our inability to straighten ourselves out. Then we realize that we must place our guilty hands into the wounded hands of GOD's innocent Messiah. In this one act of obedience in placing our hands in his hands, we acknowledge our need and desire for His eternal forgiveness. Then we find direction for ourselves away from rebellion and selfishness and toward his life of living both for GOD and for others.

There will be those who suggest that by this awkward and over simplistic poem and my added comments that I have put too much emphasis on Jewish priests bearing the main responsibility for the tragic illegal execution of GOD's and the Qur'an's innocent Messiah. (Actually my term illegal execution is only a cleaned up euphemism for murder.)

But the New Testament Scriptures allow for no other conclusion than that it was the Jewish High Priest and other Chief Priests who were guilty of GOD's innocent Messiah's murder. As compelling evidence for this conclusion the High Priest and Chief Priests are mentioned a total of 47 times as being directly complicit in bringing about the murder of this innocent man who was sent from GOD. (Book of Matthew, primarily written for the Jews - 17 times; Book of Mark – 13 times; Book written by the Greek – Dr. Luke – 10 times; Book of John, primarily written for the Greek mind – 7 times for a total of 17 times). And this large total number of times the chief priests were mentioned as guilty in his murder does not even include the number of times the Jewish group of leaders, the Sanhedrin, were mentioned as being directly complicit in his bloody death. Yes, the corrupt decadent Jewish religious system definitely bore the main guilt for the innocent Messenger of GOD's horrible murder. Yet, this uncomfortable conclusion leads directly to another probable unfavorable reality regarding Christianity.

It leads to the serious implication that certain pervasive religious practices which represent themselves as being under the large inclusive umbrella of especially U.S. Christianity, are also quite possibly anathema and blasphemous to GOD, and to his omnipresent Risen Messiah.

Yes! GOD is not preoccupied with persons bonding with the corrupt aspects of Christianity. But he is overjoyed when men and women, boys and girls of every tribe, people, language, and nation sincerely bond directly with His innocent murdered man whom He empowered to defeat death and to be spiritually present with each of us now.
