Arab Journalists Are Handcuffed By Ignoring One Key RealityIt is an absolute truism that the larger the numbers who believe something to be true is not the determining factor on whether something is true or is not true. Great numbers of people not believing the reality of a historical event cannot change actual history. Three billion, three hundred and thirty three million and fifty-five persons are able to miya fil miya (100%) be convinced about one misunderstanding of the true meaning of one verse in the Holy Quran. Thus, as a result of this misunderstanding they are convinced that there was no previously death of the Messiah who by ALLAH's wisdom and by ALLAH's might (an-nisa 4:158) defeated the wicked diabolical plans of Jewish leaders to end ALLAH's precious Messiah's life forever because ALLAH raised him from death. These misled Muslims just plain don't believe that there ever existed a dead Messiah. Nevertheless, no large number of people are able to reverse the outcome of historical events that previously occurred. ALLAH's Scriptures also teach that a few days after he walked out of his tomb alive this same caring Messiah prepared some burning coals on which he fried some fish for a few of his fisherman friends. So there on the shore of the sea of Tiberius he fed them a delicious breakfast of bread and fish. And this fine breakfast even was no more of a religious event than the fine breakfast you enjoyed this morning of bread, cheese, olives, possibly eggs, delicious grapes, a small banana, some melon with sweetened tea. Your breakfast was a reality event and the Risen Messiah's breakfast with his fisherman friends was a reality event happening at a real still existent place, at a real time. So millions of people trying to change historical reality occurrences do not change what happened at those reality occurrences 1%. So those same millions sincerely believing that ALLAH did not raise him up alive from temporary death and also not believing that an important Messiah like him would not have prepared a nice breakfast for his fisherman friends does not make one ounce of difference in what actually occurred. What happened, happened whether two billion persons believed that a reality happened or did not believe it. History is history. Many, many people believing that an historical event did not occur does not cancel its occurrence if the event indeed did occur. Yes, all Muslims have faith that that their Quran teaches them that the Messiah the son of Maryam, was not killed and therefore he did not walk out of his Jerusalem tomb. So these persons have a great difficulty believing that he was alive again and that he fixed fried fish for his fishermen friends for breakfast because they have been misled to falsely believe the meaning of a verse so that they think he did not die in the first place. But I emphasize that Muslims must have much faith that the Quran teaches that he was not killed. Because I can present a more logical way of explaining the true intention of that profound, controversial verse and my new explanation will show that this wonderful verse actually reveals that he did temporarily die. And I can also demonstrate that my way of explaining this not so simple verse is more consistent with exposing the injustice of the Jews for their despicable murder of ALLAH's only Messiah, the Quran's only Messiah and the Injeels only Messiah. Furthermore, this alternate more logical explanation is also more consistent with the comprehensive teaching of the earlier Scriptures about ALLAH raising him to new life which the Holy Quran clearly states that is confirms. (Al-Maidah 5:48 and Al-Imran 3:3) This modified explanation is also more consistent with the historical documentation of that time period. This alternate explanation is also much more consistent with the statements of other verses in the Arabic Quran such as Al-Imran 3:55 which actually makes direct reference to his death which Muslim insist did not occur. So their rigid insistence that his death did not occur leaves them contradicting their own Quran in several different ways. Therefore, with all these numerous contradictions of their own Quran, in order for any Muslim to be able to stick with his or her story that the Messiah did not die, each Muslim is required to have much more faith than any individual Christian is required to have. Therefore, due to these factors which each undeniably point to an alternate way to understand the intended teaching of An-Nisa 4:157 and 158 on combination, this leaves sincere, honest Muslims with a dilemma to solve? Muslims must be able to clearly disprove or in some way resolve each of the contrary concrete evidences I have brought to the surface. You must do this for you to be able to have an examined faith that ALLAH's Messiah indeed did not defeat wicked Jewish plans to end his life forever and truly did not die and then be raised by ALLAH as the previous Scriptures which the Quran itself confirms, comprehensively teach. Confusing Religion with RealityYou may say that I have a strange emphasis on a minor doctrine that does not have true relevance to our world today. To this preposterous suggestion that ALLAH's Messiah's resurrection is a minor doctrine without relevance to today's real world, I will S-C-R-E-A-M my total disagreement. Do you not realize that United States would not have come into existence when it did, if there had been no resurrection of ALLAH's Messiah? For history emphatically teaches that the vast majority of the earliest settlers to found the American colonies were Christian refugees who were fleeing religious persecution in Europe and the one common denominator that almost all of the new arrivals shared was a firm and sincere commitment to the Messiah's being raised by GOD from death. Many, many illustrations of the significance and empowerment if the Messiah's resurrection could be given such as this amazing account of a very small British statesman to whom GOD gave a giant heart. This very committed former young agnostic, William Wilberforce, finally accomplish the elimination of slavery in the entire spread-out British Empire. It was this young man's discovery of the truth of the power of the risen Messiah that irrevocably revolutionized his previously stunted life. So through that empowerment provided by the living Messiah, he fought ferociously to pass a bill in the exceptionally resistant British parliament that permanently eliminated the despicable slave trade throughout that pretending to be Christian, British Empire. Think about it! By finally plugging into the power of the Messiah's resurrection, this small of stature little man became a human dynamo. This one man who had been a committed agnostic, through his newly found linkage with the power of his Messiah's resurrection, he became the driving force to eliminate the wicked, inhumane prosperous trade in African slaves throughout the very enraged, resistant and resentful British empire. That certainly cannot be considered a trivial or irrelevant accomplishment linked directly to the Messiah's powerful resurrection. But I will list only one more major impact of the resurrection. But this positive impact will only benefit the Arab Muslim world if Islamic leaders pursue the correct and appropriate steps in order to prevent Israel, the friend of the U.S., from taking definite steps to assassinate President Barack Hussein Obama. Most people have not thought through the quite probable connection that ALLAH's raising up His Messiah alive just outside the gates of Jerusalem has had with Barack Hussein Obama being elected President of the U.S. For if the citizen Obama as an adult, had not chosen to link the new direction of his life with the historic resurrection event of the Risen man from now occupied West Bank Bethlehem, the overwhelming odds would have been quite negative. That link with His Messiah's Resurrection was the determinant factor of him overcoming the long odds to become the 45th US President. For that link provided for the Obama man an enlighted impetus toward the Risen Messiah's emphasis on justice and compassion this new identification and empowerment was to counteract the unpleasant reality that there does exist among the U.S. voters both racism against black as well as measurable anti-Muslim sentiment that had to be overcome by Barack Hussein Obama for him to be elected U.S. President since there existed such powerful negative forces against him. But by many even very biased, prejudiced and racist individuals knowing that he had a link with the recognized quality of the integrity of the Messiah, that overcame that double prejudice so prevalent in the U.S.; anti-black sentiment and a strong suspicion of any feint connection with Islam. So for those who suggest that the resurrection of our now Risen Messiah is a minor doctrinal issue without relevance to major historical events, they are exercising very fuzzy thinking. His glorious victory over conniving Jewish leaders, over injustice and over death was definitely neither trivial or irrelevant. There is simply no way that it is true that our Messiah's glorious resurrection is only a trivial isolated doctrine which has little relevance to today's world. Therefore, I sincerely warn any one who has ears to hear that they will not be considering the resurrection as irrelevant on that ominous day when the Messiah somes with his angels to judge as expressed in Al-Fajr 89:22. "And your lord comes with angel's row on row." For when they stand before him as their Judge as Rabbi Paul explained to Greek Philosophers in Athens (Acks 17) that all men eventually will, they will not be granted the option to say, " Hey man, I don't believe in this stuff, so please excuse me from my judgment." My View from JordanMy wife and I have a home near Salt Jordan. Consequently I have spent a fair part of many summers there and the other part of the year in Seattle with my wife usually staying much longer in Jordan. Since I get so easily lost there, I do none of our driving. So there are days that I do not leave our fairly isolated home but spend the entire day reading and writing. Consequently, with so much free time I have become addicted to consistently reading the very excellent English Jordan Times. Great JournalistsThough English is my first and only language and English is the second language of the majority of Jordan Times journalists, I say the following with no qualifications. Each writer who contributes to than excellent newspaper has a writing ability in English that is far superior to my ability to express myself in my own mother tongue. Additionally, I find their insights amazing and I envy their breadth of knowledge. I certainly have not read articles by all Arab journalists because my main exposure has been to the Jordan Times. Yet, that newspaper does expose me to a variety of Arabic writers through their section called "Arabic Press Commentaries" which sometimes has quotes and insights from writers from a variety of other Arab nations which sometimes include Israeli journalists. Reality Verses ReligionBut the key reality I will refer to which I believe these writers overlook is one which many will stereotype it as only relating to religion. But I totally reject that narrow classification. Because I see absolutely nothing religious about a formerly dead man walking out of a tomb alive but a reality that occurred. And I see nothing religious about him preparing a breakfast of fried fish and bread for his fishermen friends. This was after he had risen from the dead after the ayatollahs ruling Jerusalem black mailed and manipulated the Roman Governor Pilate to illegally execute him. So his later fixing breakfast was not religious but a reality that occurred. In fact, I don't see anything remotely religious about the Messiah's very bloody execution and extreme torture before his execution. Some may insist that a previously dead man waling out of his own tomb must be classified as a religious event. I disagree strongly. His supernatural resurrection was definitely not a religious event but it was a reality it was definitely a supernatural even. And since our Creator/GOD does exist, we must allow Him the right to empower supernatural events without forcing a religious classification on each supernatural event. And as far as his fixing breakfast for his fishermen friends, that was no more a religious event than the breakfast you had this morning was a religious event. But man conveniently uses the term religious as a defense mechanism and cover-up. So when an event occurs and we do not like its implications for our lives, we think that we can classify it as occurring in a religion that has no connection with us. So we assume that that lets us off the hook and frees us from any responsibility. But if it was an historical event, that took place at a particular place at a particular time, then it was a reality based event and not a religious event. So our labeling the event as a religious event when it was actually only an event does not relieve us of responsibility. So our attempt to clear ourselves from any connection to the event by labeling it as religious or as being connected to another religion, does absolutely nothing to liberate us from answering to ALLAH. As far as GOD is concerned, any of our feeble efforts to use the word religion in order to escape responsibility are absolutely empty. As a relevant illustration, I will refer to the common interpretation of AN-NISA 4:157 which contains words that are intended to be understand as metaphor. For instance the Messiah was "not killed" and was "not crucified." If these words are not thoughtfully considered, and are only taken word for word, rigidly and literally, they cancel the whole historical resurrection of ALLAH's Messiah, which the previous Scriptures emphatically teach. And the Quran, in Al-Ma'idah 5:48 and and Al-Imran 3:3 states that they confim these Scriptures. But let's say that there is overwhelming evidence that there is a whole new logical way that this verse is intended to be understood. So when AN-NISA 4:157 and 158 in combination are understood in this alternate way that is much more in agreement with other verses in the Quran, then it is true that with ALLAH's help, His Messiah did walk out of his tomb alive. Nevertheless, the fact that it was ALLAH who empowered him does not make the resurrection event a supernatural event. For ALLAH is not a religious GOD but He is our creator GOD. For illustration please allow me to present a relevant scenario. Lets have you first play the part of a Muslim at the Final Judgment and then play the part of an atheist appearing at his Final Judgment. So since you are first appearing at the Judgment as a Muslim, of course you do not believe that the Messiah died so most certainly ALLAH could not have raised him from the dead. That is, if you continue to believe in your interpretation of the verse that appears to dogmatically teach that he did not die. But now lets change you into the atheist. Since atheists do not believe in GOD, you are convinced that there was no GOD to raise any Messiah from the dead. For the sake of our illustration, lets say that ALLAH knows that you are both wrong about the Messiah not dying and rising. But much to your objection and frustration, even though you do not believe, you are still required to appear at this Final Judgment event that the Messiah Himself had predicted before he had been murdered by the Jewish leaders and had risen from the dead. And let's say that this Judgment is being conducted by the Messiah Himself as it was predicted that he would be your judge. But you are saying both to yourself and to anyone who will listen: "What is this? Am I dreaming? What am I doing at this Judgment event? I do not belong to this religion. And this is supposed to be an event for only this religion's people. Get me out of here immediately! I don't even believe in the teachings of this religion." But you are 100% wrong about religion. In fact, the Messiah himself was not a religious teacher teaching about coming religious events. Rather, he was an ALLAH anointed Messiah with an ability from ALLAH to predict not religious events, but coming reality events. When you as a Muslim are standing before ALLAH's Messiah who has risen from the dead it does not matter 1% that you do not believe in his death and resurrection because he is supposedly of a different religion from you. Or because you believe in a verse in the Quran in a certain rigid way that contradicts the Quran. Rather, he will be your judge and according to acts 17, his resurrection that you don't believe in, was ALLAH's proof to all men that he will be your coming Judge. Now we will change your identity to an atheist who doesn't believe in any religion or in any GOD. You, as an atheist are going to end up at that same Judgment even though you don't believe in GOD. Your lack of belief gets you out of zero eternal Judgment. You can be standing at the judgment screaming at the top of your lungs. "Get me out of here. This is all a terrible mistake. I don't believe in any of this religious garbage" But your lack of belief does not for one second get you out of your judgment. So the issue is not religion but the issue is reality. It is not religion that all men will face His judgment through His Risen Messiah. Rather, it is reality that GOD designed that there would be a final day of accounting which is commonly called Judgment. The fact that the Messiah, in chapter 8, chapter 9, and chapter 10 of the Injeel of Mark our Messiah predicted that through cooperation between the Jewish ayatollahs and the Roman occupiers, he would be beaten, whipped, spit upon and executed. But at the same time he predicted that he would defeat both the Jews and death by rising from death the third day. You cannot say that the resurrection power that gave the Messiah new life was a religious power similar to how you cannot say that the electric power that gives our lamps light is a religious power. It was not a religious power but it was a reality based ALLAH power. It had nothing to do with religious belief that a couple of days after ALLAH raised him from death that he cooked his friends some fried fish over burning coals for breakfast. That was reality and not religion. And it was reality and not religion that he told his listeners that he would be the judge of us all whether we are religious or not. And here is the important reality that absolutely every journalist in every last Middle Eastern country including Israel is missing that results in serious loss for the entire Arab Muslim world. But there is a logical explanation for why this occurs. For all writers of secular papers are expected to be objective and secular in their approach they are never to factor in intangible spiritual realities into their considerations even though those spiritual realities may be more relevant and real than the tangible facts with which they are dealing. The Blind Spot of Each JournalistSo what each journalist is not allowed by their reading public to deal with is this. But maybe this is not a blind spot for the journalist. Perhaps he sees it but is not allowed to write about it. This is the reality which is never being addressed in the news, but is an unseen spiritual reality. It is not a tangible, seen reality. Therefore it can never be discussed in the news. Yet this unseen spiritual reality is more relevant than any seen reality that is being discussed in the daily news. The unseen spiritual reality of which I speak is the constant spiritual presence of ALLAH's still living Messiah which is confirmed by the definite teaching of the Holy Quran. But sadly, this specific teaching of the Quran only confirms this unseen spiritual reality when the very real implications of AN-NISA 4:158 are taken seriously rather than ignored. Significantly, I am convinced that 4:158 was intended to be understood that ALLAH raised Isa the Messiah up to himself alive directly from his tomb. However, even when the verse 4:158 teaching is understood in the more traditional way that He was taken up to avoid his execution, the Quran's emphatic the teaching still remains that the Messiah is still alive. So unless ALLAH has him locked away in some third or seventh heaven, the logical conclusion is that his spiritual presence is still very much a constantly available living resource in the Middle East even though His presence is invisible. But significantly, Al Baqarah 2:3 urges Muslim Believers to be aware of the invisible. So here is the reality that every journalist and everyone else is allowing to pass them by though this reality is especially relevant to todays Arab/Palestinian struggles with a US supported Israel. There is no one who is totally familiar with every last detail and nuance about the Middle East like ALLAH's Risen Messiah. That whole area is his front yard, his back yard and his front porch. Furthermore, he knows the heart of every person. He knows every political nuance in every state and nation in the Middle East. He also knows when, who, where, and how the Israelis will try to assassinate President Obama. In fact, there is no one who is more familiar with the deceptive, under handed ways of the Israelis than the man who eventually defeated them by allowing them to manipulate his unjust execution. So he then exposed their injustice through his ALLAH empowered resurrection. Yet, an absolutely amazing circumstance has occurred. Even though he has all of this knowledge, expertise and great desire to bring justice to the oppressed in the area, he is being snubbed and ignored by each and every Muslim and Christian journalist as well as by all leaders. This is certainly not the appropriate strategy to use to help prevent Obama's assassination or to achieve justice for the severely exploited Palestinians. This whole passive aggressive strategy of freezing out the one man sent from ALLAH to help in this very type of situation is exceptionally counter productive for every person in the Middle East. Regretfully especially does totally ignoring ALLAH's risen Bethlehem man put Islam at an avoidable disadvantage with the clever US assisted and US supported Israelis. I realize that virtually no one addresses relevant past and future realities in the straight forward, no holds barred, way that I have in this paper. So it will be quite easy to stereotype me as a mad man or at least as a religious fanatic. But I have been considering these issues since I met with five or six retired generals in Riyadh Saudi Arabia in 1977, thirty-two years ago. There I listened and listened to the Generals discuss the possible meanings of AN-NISA 4:157 (you do very little talking when you are meeting with generals). From my perspective, the discussion stayed focused only on the two verses. So they did not discuss the 4:157, 158 relationship to either other relevant verses in the Quran or to the previous Scriptures about whose teaching the Quran clearly states that it confirms. (Please see Al-Ma'idah 5:48 and Al-Imran 3:3) Of course I don't expect any of the M.E. journalists to risk their careers by addressing these reality issues directly in their writing except for dealing with the very real potential assassination of Barack Obama by Israel. But I realize that even that issue is especially delicate. A Judgment Day ConsiderationPlease consider how the following choices by leaders will influence the decision about their eternal destines that will be revealed to them on Judgment Day. What will happen if these leader choose not to attempt to prevent the evil, Middle East impacting assassination of a caring and competent US President by the state of Israel? Yet, I realize that it is very difficult for Muslim leaders to take the courageous step of modifying the understanding of AN-NISA 4:157,158 because of their strange reluctance to hold Israel responsible for the previous great leader that Israel wickedly assassinated two thousand years ago. But why does Islam continue to risk its relationship to ALLAH's justice by continuing to allow Israel to get away with that murder. Does not Islam recognized that by allowing Israel to trample Justice in the mud, that this offends ALLAH, weakens Islam and is detrimental to the entire Mideast. Furthermore, if Islam now chooses to ignore not one but two such sinister assassinations by Israel, do not Muslims realize that this overlooking of the assassinations of two young leaders, that this will be an evil omen for Islam's own future with ALLAH. Also, this moral laxity, and softness by Islam toward Israel will obviously leave Israel convinced that it has Arab Islam's public stamp of approval to continue to assassinate and also a bright green light to continue to colonize Palestinian occupied land. The Rabid Young Israel Supporters' Threat to ObamaFor those who continue to brainwash themselves that it is quite unlikely that any Jewish person supporting Israel will be likely to assassinate Barack Obama, I have shocking news. You will be excused if you vomit when you read the quotations from a new generation of young, Israeli supporters who disgustingly reinforce and compete with each other to be more filled with hate rage for Barack Obama for his apparent crime of beginning to try to help the Palestinians though much less than the US helps Israel. These quotes are from a professionally produced audiovisual that a relative brought to my home today. To convince ones self that one of these young Israelis with so much sympathy for Israel and so much rage against the US President will not attempt our justice seeking president's assassination is absolutely naive and irresponsible. These quotes are all contained in another very brief paper on this web site entitled: "Israeli young men abhor Barack Obama". back to "Late 2007 - 2010" page __________________________________________________________ _________________________________________ __________________________ _____________ |
