Atheist Prophet Indicts Religion

It does not reflect well on either Islam or Christianity that it has taken a public atheist to write a brilliant indictment of the Pope of the world renowned Roman Catholic Church for his criminal protection of over a thousand Catholic Priests for the sexual abuse of thousands of vulnerable youth. This atheist prophet's blistering essay regarding bringing the Pope to justice was not written by a man who had a grudge against religion. Rather, it was written by a justifiably outraged man who cannot begin to comprehend why this iconic religious figure is allowed to openly defy international law before the eyes of the entire world mainly due to his being allowed to hide behind the obvious oxymoron of being the world's venerated Holy Father. Please ponder the serious legal, moral, and religious implications from this one quote from Mr. Christopher Hitchen's penetrating May 3rd, 2010 Newsweek article: The Holy Father seems to be lenient with criminals while reserving his severity for those who complained about them.

For what ethical international leader would allow his followers to use the sacred word holy to describe himself if that supposedly revered leader and father of a formerly respected world-wide church had used the status of his prestigious office to shield numerous sexual priest predators of vulnerable children from prosecution and appropriate punishment? Is it right for him to allow such a sacred word as holy to describe him? Does not allowing this word to be used under such cloudy circumstances bring disgrace not only to his office, but also to himself and to his church?

Furthermore, is this unpleasant circumstance of this honorable title is allowed to continue to be used for the Pope, can the world-wide church that he represents any longer, with any degree of integrity, be considered the Church of the Holy GOD's compassionate, ethical, Risen Messiah? So the near future must disclose the answer to this perplexing, and pressing question.

That noted religious authorities in Protestant and Catholic Christianity and in Sunni and Shii'a Islam have been much less vocal and justice oriented than this brilliant social critic Christopher Hitchens, is a serious indictment against the complacency and callousness of both Islam and Christianity and also against Judaism.

This is all the more true if you happen to take seriously these compelling words from the book, The Prophets written by the world renowned Jewish theologian, Abraham Heschel. On Page 95 of the second part of his book in which he synthesizes the main teachings of the Hebrew Prophets, he writes: "For compassion is the root of GOD's relationship to man."

Since the Scriptures support this thesis of compassion being the vital foundation of GOD's relationship with us, where is the compassion of the wealthy Pope of the Roman Catholic Church when he callously covers up these horrible sexual crimes against vulnerable children by this supposedly compassionate multitude of Roman Catholic predator Priests? Furthermore, where is the compassion of the leaders in the Roman Catholic, Protestant, Islamic and Jewish religious establishments for not crying out in outrage against this open organized crime against GOD's vulnerable children? But in contrast to these religious authorities crime of complacency and indifference, praise GOD that He has found a faithful atheist who will cry out for Compassion and Justice for these vulnerable children. He certainly deserves our respect for his outspokenness.

Sadly, there is another awful lesson we must learn from this tragic episode of the loud thunderous silence regarding this horrible, despicable crime that has been covered up before the watching eyes of the entire world. Nevertheless, though the whole world was observing and aware, the cover-up to bring to justice both those responsible for the disgusting sexual crimes and also to bring to justice their superiors in the Roman Catholic hierarchy who were actually shielding the perpetrators and often enabling them to continue with their sexual crimes against vulnerable children.

Atheist Becomes GOD's Servant

The outrage that should have come from leader types was much too silent with the exception of Christopher Hitchens. Though an atheist, he has become a modern day watchman and virtual Prophet Ezekiel in aggressively sounding the alarm and in expressing appropriate outrage at how the legal system has been stone-walked by the powerful Catholic Church system. Consequently, he has provided a tangible example of one courageous person stepping forward and being constructively pro-active. His aggressive outspokenness was truly a refreshing and necessary contrast to the indifference by religious with authorities who have been for the most part immorally, unethically and callously silent.

Yes, this open hideous crime against children has had mostly silence prevail rather than their being massive police investigations and multiple arrests. Instead of important exposure, the absence for so long of appropriate legal action has resulted in injurious consequence for both European and American children.

Nevertheless, as devastating as the consequences of this massive crime has been, there is an even more public and more horrendous crime being committed in our world that has received absolutely no attention. And this crime has resulted in an even broader range of hurtful consequences than those consequences due to the total lack of action and exposure by both Muslim and Christian authorities when they swept under the rug the current organized crime by Catholic Priests against children.

But with this new crime that we will now examine, everyone including Mr. Hitchens has kept themselves unaware of this crime and its serious societal consequences. Therefore, everyone has remained silent, apathetic, uninterested, and uninvolved. So it is this unrecognized major, massive crime that I feel compelled, yes, driven to bring to our immediate attention.

But what crime could possible be more extensive in the damage it causes than the damage that results from virtually ignoring sexual crimes against many thousands of vulnerable children by over a thousand sexual predator Priests who are supposed to be compassionate and protective? And what current crime could possibly have worse consequences for our world's society than the crime of both sexual assault and the cover-up of that assault that has occurred both within the Catholic Church and was ignored by irresponsible authorities outside the Catholic Church? But I gladly acknowledge that Christopher Hitchen's aggresive example provided of needed pro-activity has been exceptionally helpful to me personally in my writing of this fairly confrontive paper.

Yes, this crime is even now having much greater negative consequences for society than the previously discussed crime. This crime which is being perpetrated against GOD Himself is easily the greatest crime to have ever occurred against GOD in the history of GOD-man relations. Nevertheless, despite the crimes' seriousness and the seriousness of the consequences of the crime, there has been a blatant calloused indifference to this crime by both Christian and Muslim authorities throughout GOD's world.

This crime is so great in its magnitude and consequences that this crime surpasses in its rebellion against GOD, the Tower of Babel rebellion; the cold blooded murder of Habel/Abel by his bloodthirsty brother Cain/Cabel; the sexual perversion that brought about the burning inferno that resulted in total destruction to the two cities of Sodom and Gomorrah; the wickedness of the people of Noah's generation that totally inundated that region with water during the massive flood; the Israelis rebellion against GOD which resulted in the destruction of Jerusalem and the Babylonian and Assyrian exiles. Nevertheless, what has been the public response? There has been absolutely no public out cry against this current crime. Yet, this crime has even surpassed all of the monumental historical Biblical crimes against GOD and people that I have just listed?

It is the quiet, covert crime of coldly and callously denying that the greatest tangible expression by GOD of His compassion to man that has ever occurred in history, actually did not even occur. Furthermore, this colossal crime even alleges that the most despicable, anti-GOD crime to have ever occurred in the history of the Jewish people, the calloused, vicious murder of their own Messiah, did not truly occur. And even worse, this crime even alleges that the greatest historical triumph by GOD's Wisdom and Might for surpassing the miraculous Red Sea crossing, GOD raising His Messiah from death to life, also did not even occur.

Of course, there may be millions of Muslims who will protest that what I have just stated about Islam's leaders' denial of the horrible crime of the execution of the Messiah by the Jews is my making on anti-religious frontal attack on the supposedly authoritative statements in the Quran that GOD's Messiah was definitely not executed. Therefore, they will say that since that is what the Quran states, it is supposedly not Muslim leaders who have committed a crime for denying GOD's act of tremendous compassion through His Messiah's suffering and death on the cross. Instead, I will be the one who is accused of a serious crime for appearing to be attacking the supposedly infallible teaching of the Quran about the Messiah's not even dying temporarily so that he was not miraculously raised from the dead by ALLAH's Wisdom and Might.

Yet, the Quran's An-Nisa 4:158 triumphantly proclaims that he was raised by ALLAH. Although I am personally 100% convinced that the supposed infallible Pope is not even 1% infallible, the infallibility of the statements of the Quran is not something that I am at all calling into question. But what I am calling into serious question is the claimed infallibility by Muslim leaders who insist that they are totally correct about their decisions about their interpretation of what the Quran's verse actually means when it states that GOD's Messiah was not killed and not crucified.

For it I am correct in the strong case that I have made in my writing that there is a much more consistent and logical case to be made that the two terms, not killed and not crucified must be understood in a far different way than the way confused, dogmatic Muslim leaders presently demand that these two terms be understood, I submit that it is much more logical that these terms refer to the Messiah not being permanently killed and not being permanently crucified, but that it only appeared to the relieved Jews (Shubbiiha Lahum) that he had been permanently killed and permanently crucified. Nevertheless, despite strong evidence, these close minded Muslim leaders continue to dogmatically insist that GOD's overt act of wonderful compassion never took place. And these same leaders will also insist that neither did the abusive violent crime of the Jews against GOD's love and their wicked assault on the vulnerable body of His Messiah, never took place.

Consequently, the evidence demonstrates that it is not me who is guilty, but it is these Muslim leaders who are now the ones who are very guilty of the eternal crime of blatantly denying not only the compassion of GOD, but also committing the equally sinister crime of inexcusably excusing the very guilty Jews of murdering GOD's very own compassionate Messiah. And since GOD is known by all Muslims as All-Compassionate, and since theologically that compassion by GOD is the very root of GOD's relationship with man as evidenced by the many compassionate names that Muslims give Him, it is Muslims who are presently making a blatant, shameful frontal attack on GOD Himself. They stage this attack both by denying this overt act of compassion occurred and by also denying the Jews dreadful crime against His Compassion.

For those worried leaders to not even allow open discussion about the strong, possibility that the giant lock those Muslim leaders have put on their current understanding of An-Nisa 4:157 and 158 is a lock that is totally displeasing to GOD, and that this extreme displeasure by GOD should cause Muslim leaders to tremble and tremble and tremble.

For you oh Muslim leaders to assume that GOD has given to you the right to dictate to Him how He will be allowed to express His compassion for man is exceptionally dangerous, arrogant, rebellious, and presumptive.

And I will tell you this honestly and up front. I am much more concerned about GOD's attitude toward me and His disappointment with me if I do not faithfully, and consistently warn all Muslims how serious it is for you to continue to rebel against GOD's Compassion by your continuing to deny the Compassion of the Messiah's willingness to die on the cross for us all. So I am much more concerned about my faithfulness in this important matter than I am worried about Muslim extremists twisting my comments so that they may feel justified in killing me because of their wrongly thinking I have spoken against the teaching of the Holy Quran. Because it is definitely their faulty conclusion I am speaking against and am not speaking against the profound wording of the Quran.

The Prophet Muhammad's Perspective on God's Compassion

The following is a quotation about compassion from The Sayings of Muhammad compiled by Sir Abdullah Suhrawardy with a forward by Mahatma Gandi:

"Muhammad asked, 'Do you think this woman will cast her own child into the fire?' Those present said, 'No.' Muhammad said, 'Verily GOD is more compassionate on his own creatures, than this woman on her own child.'"

In light of this vivid teaching on compassion by the Prophet, are you oh Muslims going to honestly assume that GOD denied both Himself and His Messiah the opportunity to vividly demonstrate compassion by His own Messiah compassionately suffering and denying on a man-made wooden cross. Come on, oh compassionate Muslims, and show some logic. Of course, His Messiah temporarily died, but only appeared to permanently die (Shubbiiha Lahum). But the All-Compassionate GOD and His own Messiah most certainly did not deceive everyone with a substitute Messiah which the compassionate GOD and His Messiah supposedly secretly arranged while the Honest ALLAH secretly snuck His Compassionate Messiah away. No! No! A billion times no. That is not what happened. GOD and His Messiah are much too compassionate for the Messiah to complete his life on earth 2,000 years ago through such a shameful, cowardly scenario. Such an awful scenario would reflect so negatively on the Holy Quran, negatively on the Holy ALLAH, and negatively on GOD's innocent, Compassionate Risen Messiah.

Please oh please, oh Muslim leaders. Don't confuse the lack of integrity of the Roman Catholic Church regarding the cover up of massive sexual assaults on children with the true integrity of the Holy Quran, the true integrity of the Holy ALLAH and the true integrity of His innocent, compassionate, courageous Risen Messiah. Such an unreasonable mistake on your part will be exceedingly shameful for sincere leaders of Islam.
