Cancellation of Risen Messiah's Prediction of Future Nuclear DisastersThe Risen Messiah of the New Testament has a wonderful reputation. In fact, all the merchandise which is purchased and given as presents to celebrate his birth is one of the main anchors of the giant U.S. economy. Yet, ironically it is virtually the Kiss of Death for a U.S. intellectual, a statesman, or a scientist to award credibility to certain statements or predictions that GOD's sent Messiah has made. This is partly due to the fact that the written source of his statements is the Bible. It happens to be politically correct in especially the U.S. for the intellectual community to be highly suspicious of persons who take seriously statements contained in the Scriptures from GOD's own Messiah. That is, unless the context of the Biblical references are a Sunday morning church service or his words being quoted at a wedding or a funeral ceremony. But then his words are a little late for the main person at the funeral. I admit that some of the negative reputation for how Scripture quoters use the Scripture has been deserved due to what appears to be the inconsistency and even hypocrisy in the lives of some of us who use as authority what the Messiah has said. So this cognitive dissonance appears to provide credibility and ammunition to those who are critical of any predictions which the Messiah may have made which are even referred to by those of us who speak of our own prayers and appear to make self serving references to the potential activity of GOD in events in the world. An example of what appears to be dissonance between words and deeds would be the recent President Bush's decision for war against innocent Muslim Iraqi's as a result of his supposed personal communication with his living GOD. This unjust, irrational, internationally illegal decision was made while he was also making a public display of his supposed commitment to Christian values. Or there is the apparent contradiction between word and deed of the self promoting materialistic, militaristic Sarah Palin. Another public example of a gross manipulator of Biblical truth who laughs all the way to the bank is the infamous, wealthy, crying clown, Fox's Glen Beck. Thus, due to the many justified and less justified psychological reasons, many thinkers are quite suspicious of those sometimes known as Bible thumpers. Therefore, to try to avoid this classification I will now cancel and withdraw my main point I made in my Chernobyl Nuclear Warning paper about contaminating radiation in much of the earth's future water supply that will negatively impact the food supply of so many human occupiers of this fragile planet. As evidence of this awful phenomenon I cited the use in one dialect of the Russian Bible's Book of Revelation, also known as Apocalypse, the loaded Russian name Chernobyl for the English term wormwood which has the connotation of bitter. Since I am neither a specialist on the Russian language nor a scientist and am definitely not a theologian, perhaps I have no legitimate right to speak about the brief period of research that I did in 1986 or 1987 at the downtown Seattle Public library. There I discovered that the key English word wormwood used in the 8th chapter of the Book of Revelation was translated in one Russian dialect Bible as Chernobyl. And this word Chernobyl was used in that Russian dialect Bible long before Russian's own Chernobyl's nuclear disaster. So now my point is this. Since I am now a considerably older 78 years of age and still totally computer illiterate, I have no inclination to revisit the downtown Seattle Public Library in order to confirm the legitimacy of my Chernobyl for wormwood discovery of 1986 or 1987. Therefore, I am willing to assume that there is no such translation of the Russian name Chernobyl for the English term wormwood. Yet, I am convinced that honest researchers today would confirm this finding that I made 25 years ago. But I also believe that the heavily funded pro-nuclear reactor establishment would do everything in its power to cover-up this linkage between the Biblical terms wormwood and Chernobyl in one Russian dialect Bible in the Book of Revelation, known as The Apocalypse. But even assuming that I was in err about the Chernobyl-Wormwood-Book of Revelation 8:9, 10-Nuclear Radiation Contamination linkage, today's quote in the Seattle Times was exceedingly shocking even though the next day's paper said the figure wasn't totally accurate. But the accurate figure or the inaccurate figure that was not given in the next day's March 28th, 2011 Seattle Times, should still send shivers up and down the spines of each mother and father who is a member of the well funded, optimistic, over confident nuclear reactor industry. Jump in Radiation: Officials in Japan say the radioactivity in water at a hobbled nuclear plant is testing 10 million times higher than normal. Tokyo Electric Power Company spokesmen Takashi Kurita told reporters Sunday that leaked water in Unit 2 of the Fukishima Dalichi plant measured at 1,000 millisiverts per hour 10 million times higher than the radioactivity level than when the reactor is operating normally. But despite this dreadfully alarming evidence; it is still now my intention in the remainder of my comments to write as if the Chernobyl alert system in Revelation 8:9, 10 from the Risen Messiah's prediction, does not even exist in either Russian, English, Greek, German, French, or any other language into which the original New Testament language has been translated. I take this step of precaution so as not to offend those intellectuals who are suspicious of any evidence or reasoning that may have been supposedly tainted by anything that GOD's Risen Messiah is quoted by the Scriptures as having said. But, because I believe this website of www.alqasas.net may reach many sincere individuals who do not have access to all the not for major profit driven sources that I have ready access to, I still am convinced that I have at least a small responsibility in the name of reality and precaution to offer some quotes which run very counter to what the well financed multi-billion dollar nuclear industry's slick propagandists will be telling the world about how what happened in Japan was a once in a billion fluke confluence of unfortunate events. Furthermore, they say that since the confluence of such events will never be repeated due to future inevitable improvements in technology and safety measures, this comforting reality should adequately lay to rest any future worries about the safety of nuclear reactors as many nations' main replacement of coal and oil as man's main energy sources. So these optimistic propagandists will say in Arabic, Ma Fee Mushqela and in English they will say, No Problem, in reference to the falsely assumed safe future for the nuclear reactor industry. Therefore, in order to counter what I consider to be the well financed irrational self serving optimism of the pro-nuclear reactor establishment. I will now present a series of quotes from what I consider to be the rational anti-nuclear reactor establishment compiled from my own no financial support position. 1 Time Magazine's Michael Grunwold wrote in his March 28, 2011 article on The Real Cost of Nuclear Power. One lesson of the past decade, in finance as well as in nature, is that perfect storms do happen. When nukes are involved, the fall out can be literal, not just political.' 2 The Nation April 2011 As former Nuclear Regulatory Commission Chairman Peter Bradford put it, 'The phrase; it can't happen here is an invitation to disaster.' 'But remarkably, that is exactly what the pro-nuke crew is now saying.' 3 April 4, 2011 The Nation Christian Parenti Author of Chaos: Climate Change and the New Geography of Violence. The Culture of the industry and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission is pathologically cavalier. The mix of technological hubris with the profit motive has produced a track record of slipshod management, corner-cutting and repeated lying. So far more than half of American's nuclear reactors have received new twenty year operating license renewals. In fact, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has not rejected a single license renewal application. Vermont Yankee is one of the plants up for relicensing, and it has a tritium leak that no one can seem to find or stop. At first, company officials just lied about the problem. They told lawmakers that they did not have the sort of ground pipes that could leak tritium into ground water. But it does. The Nuclear Power Industry is setting our country up for disaster by quietly pushing the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) to relicense and extend the operation of our existing fleet of old reactors. Worse, they are getting power-up rates that allow the plants to run at up to 120% of their originally intended capacity. That means their systems are subjected to unprecedented amounts of heat, pressure, corrosion, stress, and embrittling radiation. Many of these 'up rated' and relicensed plants are leaking or have leaked radioactive, carcinogenic, tritium-polluted water. A quarter of all (104) U.S. reactors have such leaks. 4 Existential terrifying random comments from Jonathon Schell in his April 4, 2011 article in The Nation entitled Hiroshima to Fukushima. " The basic power of the universe was indeed handed over to nuclear power engineers including Japanese engineers. The requirement of burying nuclear waste for the tens of thousands of years it takes for its radioactive materials to decline to levels deemed safe mock our species (ingenuity). The art of nuclear power is to boil water with the incredible heat generated by a nuclear chain reaction. But such temperatures necessitate continuous cooling which require pumps which require conventional power (to which many things can habitually go wrong.) For instance, in Japan the nuclear power industry (as in America) has a record of garden-variety cover-ups, ducking safety regulations, hiding safety violations and other problems. But when the basic power of the universe including the power of the sun is involved, these problems court catastrophe." We have already observed two of the major catastrophes in Japan and Chernobyl and also have documented a vast number of minor leakages of lethal radioactive material throughout the world. The awful reality is that man cannot handle the very power of the universe that is demonstrated in the power of the sun, in a trustworthy way that does not jeopardize humanity's very existence. These last two sentences are my words and are not those of Jonathon Schell. 5 Washington Post's Harold Meyerson sucintly stated as quoted in the March 25, 2011 The Nation, The experts were wrong. 6 The Los Angeles Times Donald Prothero writes as quoted in the March24, 2011 The Week: Several of the faults in our region are over due for major quakes Our two nuclear power plants are designed to withstand 7.0 and 7.5 magnitude earth quakes, but the San Andres fault is capable of exerting much more force. Those who ignore these warnings now will regret it when the next Big One hits. There is little doubt now that earthquakes do tend to occur in clusters; a significant event on one side of a major tectonic plate is often not invariably, but often enough to be noticeable followed some weeks or months later by another on the plate's far side. It is as though the earth becomes like a great brass bell, which when struck by an enormous hammer blow on one side, sets to vibrating and ringing from all over. Now there has been catastrophic events on three corners of the Pacific Plate one in the northwest on Friday; one in the southwest, last month; one in the southeast, last year. That leaves just one corner unaffected the northwest. And the fault line in the northeast of the Pacific Plate is the San Andreas fault underpinning the city of San Francisco Now three events have occurred that might all be regarded as triggering events. Thus, do we take sincere warnings by these who seriously question the integrity and wisdom of the aggressive, wealthy nuclear reactor industry? Or, do we close our eyes to the unpleasant series of facts and hope for the best? Yet, the facts point to potential catastrophic future scenarios both for the U.S. and other nations. Yes, part of the answer to much safer nuclear power plants is to replace the several hundred nuclear power plants around the world, many of which have old technology and wearing out parts, with new technology which means new reactors. But according to specialist Christian Parenti writing in the April 4, 2011 The Nation: The fact is that the amount of private capital required to build new plants is nowhere on the horizon Only governments in places like China and India unconcerned about making a prophet on investments build new nuclear plants. From my old fashioned belief in GOD's perspective or in nature's perspective, as horrible as it may seem, whether GOD or nature or a combination of both have allowed the citizens of the world to hear a dreadfully loud wake up call from the victims in Japan pleading with us to dread what will happen if the governments of the world do not take extremely seriously the warnings which the unfortunate victims in Japan are crying out to us. If the aggressive profit driven world wide nuclear industry combined with the world's desperate need for alternate energy resources, succeeds in blinding our eyes to the inevitable major nuclear catastrophes looming on the horizons, only doom and gloom are the alternatives that await mankind. Will government leaders be seduced by the money and false promises of the wealthy nuclear industry? Or, will sufficient numbers of world leaders wisely face the horribly unpleasant, ominous facts and act responsibly in order to save tens of millions of precious lives?
