Conspiring to Keep World’s Most Relevant Man IrrelevantHow can I be so certain that leaders and followers live in a world of unreality, if they choose not to make the still alive Messiah, their reference point? So we will discuss that legitimate question because in my extreme dogmatism, in this point I am going against what the recognized writers and thinkers have to say. For instance, yesterday, August 20, 2009, I received the latest edition of both Foreign Affairs and Newsweek. In Foreign Affairs, there were two articles, and both of them were quite relevant to the kind of issues that definitely relate to the Risen Messiah of the world’s three great Monotheistic religions. (However, the Jews do not presently admit that he is their religion’s Risen Messiah). Amazingly, the Messiah was mentioned in neither of the relevant Foreign Affairs articles. He was not referred to in “The Crisis of Islamism”; article by Charles Tripp. Much more shocking was the fact that he was not once mentioned in “Born Again in the U.S.A.” Yet, this article was reviewing a recent red hot book called, God is Back: How the Global Revival of Faith is Changing the World, by Timothy Samuel Shaw. Significantly, this book is mainly about the Christian faith in the U.S. and Christianity’s influences elsewhere in the world. God’s Risen Messiah was not once mentioned in the comprehensive book review, and I assume was also not mentioned in the book that was mainly about Christianity. Supposedly, this Risen Messiah man is the foundation of the subject of the book. So I found that his not being mentioned was disappointing, but not surprising. Regretfully, I find this typical of the way that the still living omnipresent man has been placed in a refrigerator, when there is any scholarly discussion regarding Christianity. Of course it sounds quite unsophisticated to mention that the Risen man himself is taking note of all of this ignoring of his reality. Coincidently, soon after observing how the One God’s only Living Messiah was hidden from view in both of the relevant Foreign Affairs articles, I began reading the most recent Newsweek. There, near the end of the magazine, was a brief article with a half page of bright colored Hindu symbolism, about the loss of influence of Christianity in the U.S. entitled, “We Are All Hindus Now”. It addressed how many U.S. Christians are adopting more and more Hindu beliefs. This is even though there are just over a million Hindus in the U.S. Of course this article, which also featured U.S. Christianity, did not come close to mentioning the Risen man whose revolutionary concepts were at one time vital to Christianity, which 76% of Americans still claim as their religion. The Risen Messiah’s Unrecognized RelevanceAfter reading the two aforementioned articles in Foreign Affairs, I read two more excellent articles from the same journal, which of course did not ever come close to even alluding to Allah’s still living statesman from West Bank Bethlehem. However, neither of these two particular articles involved subject matter, where it would have been considered relevant to mention the Living Messiah. However, from any biased perspective, to discuss the relevance of the Messiah in relationship to the content of both of those other articles, would not have been an over reach at all. For those who may wonder about the appropriateness of my referring to the Risen Messiah as a statesman, I will explain; when the Magi Wiseman from the East followed the unique star in order to find the baby who they identified as the one who would become the “King of the Jews”, they traced the star to far off Jerusalem. There they enquired of the cruel Jewish King Herod, where they could find this new born child, who was born to become a king. When the jealous King Herod hears the trigger words, “born to be King of the Jews”, loud alarm bells immediately went off in his head and he was filled with jealousy. So he immediately made secret plans to murder the infant. King Herod enquired of his advisors where this infant might be. His advisors, being quite familiar with the writing of the ancient Hebrew Prophets, explained to this hateful King that the ancient Hebrew Prophet, Micah, had prophesied that out of Bethlehem would become a ruler. So this ruler would certainly fit under the Statesman banner. Additionally, the Prophet, Isaiah in the 9th chapter of his book said about the Messiah’s future government, “Of the increase of his government and peace, there will be no end.” So this is another testimony to his becoming a statesman. We will now take a brief look at two serious contemporary situations where both could use the leadership of a true statesman. Since no one has even thought of contacting a statesman with the status of the Risen Messiah, please consider the unsolvable, insurmountable complications that current world leaders have encountered in dealing with only these two isolated political problems among dozens of such challenges. Our first observation will be at the billions of dollars that hundreds of diverse agencies have thrown at solving the sectarian problems of only four million people in the small country of Bosnia. The following is a lengthy quote from Foreign Affairs, September/October 2009, pages 69 and 70, in a Patrice McMahon and Jon Western article. I use these two paragraphs as a vivid illustration of how much of a chaotic mess the best of the secular professional agencies can make of solving sectarian violence and hostility that directly relate to differing perspectives regarding the now Living Messiah. But amazingly, when seeking potential solutions, this always present Living Messiah is never mentioned or even considered as having any connection to either the problem or to any potential solution. Apparently, even mentioning his existence could undermine the sacred reputation of those professional secular problem solvers. They may choose to ignore receiving help from someone as experienced as the Risen Messiah, since solutions could jeopardize their high paying professional positions. So they continue to throw money and resources at the problem, while also continuing to receive their high salaries, totally ignoring the fact that he is the foundation of the problem. Thus, the Living, Accessible, Caring Messiah is counter productively, but predictably locked out of the equation, even though the whole equation is all about him. The Numerous Contributions to Helping Bosnia Fall Apart“The 1995Dayton peace agreement divided Bosnia into two semi-independent entities: the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, inhabited mainly by Bosnian Muslims and Bosnian Croats, and the Serb-dominated Republika Srpska (Serb Republic, or RS), each with its own government, controlling taxation, educational policy, and even foreign policy. Soon after the war’s end, the country was flooded with attention and over $14 billion in international aid, making it a laboratory for what was arguably the most extensive and innovative democratization experiment in history. By the end of 1996, 17 different foreign governments, 18 UN agencies, 27 intergovernmental organizations, and about 200 nongovernmental organizations (NGOS)--not to mention tens of thousands of troops from across the globe--were involved in reconstruction efforts. On a per capita basis, the reconstruction of Bosnia—with less than four million citizens—made the post-World War 2 rebuilding of Germany and Japan look modest. As successful as Dayton was at ending the violence, it also sowed the seeds of instability by creating a decentralized political system that undermined the state’s authority. In the past three years, ethnic nationalist rhetoric from leaders of the country’s three constituent ethnic groups—Muslims, Croats, and Serbs—has intensified, bringing reform to a standstill. The economy has stalled; unemployment is over 27 percent, about 25 percent of the population lives in poverty, and Bosnia remains near the bottom of World Bank rankings for business development. Most worrisome is the instability of the leading political parties to agree on the basic political structure for the country.” I am truly convinced that this Bosnian mess is a fitting tribute to man’s arrogance. We are very proud of getting along quite well without ever involving the relevance of Allah’s Living, Moral, Ethical, Messiah. This type of, go it alone attitude without God’s still alive spiritual statesman, is precisely the kind of arrogant rebellion and stubborn, willful independence from Allah’s Messiah’s moral authority that leads directly to the type of pathetic scenario we see so vividly portrayed in the final New Testament Book of Revelation. In these terrifying, fast approaching symbolic circumstances that could have been avoided, Kings, Presidents, Princess’, Generals, the rich, the mighty all hide in caves and among the rocks of the mountains. In great dread “they called to the mountains and the rocks, ‘fall on is and hide us from the face of him, who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the lamb.’” (Rev. 6:15-17.) Yes, the great important Kissinger and Nixon type leaders may think its fine for hundreds and hundreds of poor Vietnamese to continue to die, so that a self important American President can win a second election. But the values and circumstances will change 180 degrees when God’s wrath reveals itself and rocks are sought by such immoral, murderous, arrogant leaders so that they can hide under then. After reading about the Bosnia tragedy, I read most of the absolutely brilliant article about the past and future of NATO, by Zbigniew Brzezinski. Although it sounds dreadfully simplistic, which it may be, I reminded myself that if we as nations had our priorities straight with God’s Moral Living Messiah and honored a spiritual union with him, the majority of these complicated balance of powder alliances that are dependent on a NATO type organization, would not need to be man’s main vulnerable peace mechanism. But because we have in arrogance rejected Allah’s own anointed peace negotiator, we are stuck with these fragile alliances in order to prevent nations from bringing great harm to other nations, due to our conflicting and competing self interests. Yes, we need to acknowledge and also look to God’s only Risen man, the New Testament’s (Injeel) only Risen man, the Holy Quran’s only Risen man, and the only Risen man who the prestigious authors of the world will not even dare to acknowledge his existence in their books and articles. So he is deliberately frozen out of exerting his influence and authority among us in our very necessary and unavoidable international relations. However at this time, the One True Allah/God is allowing man to exercise our free will and make lousy choices. One such lousy choice is to choose persuasive weapon’s salesmen to be our spiritual priest/advisors and de facto imam middle men as we feverishly prepare for war and not for peace. In contrast, if our leaders recognized that even now we have a victorious Risen, Moral Messiah spiritually living among us, world conditions would be quite different because his character is to be a peace maker and not a war maker. But in order to honor the authority he has received from God, our power hungry leaders will need to surrender their arrogance and their need to project their self reliant images. But they pretend to be too sophisticated to honor this supposedly simplistic concept. They will not acknowledge what their own respective Holy Books of the Quran and the New Testament emphatically proclaim. That there is truly a Living Messiah who even appeared in bodily form on this earth for forty days (see book of Acts), after his temporarily deceased body had been raised alive. So he obviously has spiritual authority that is well beyond Catholic Priests, Greek Orthodox Priests, and Coptic Priests pronouncing blessings on babies. And his authority far exceeds the authority of people such as the Reverend Billy Graham, who was swayed and influenced by the power and prestige of the Presidential office. So he prayed with the first U.S. President Bush in the oval office the night before the President gave his order to start dropping bombs on Iraqi Muslims to begin the first Gulf War. Regrettably, this Graham lack of judgment gave the Muslim world the horrible wrong impression that U.S. Christianity’s self appointed High Priest had given his spiritual blessing to a war that our own oil interests had manipulated into occurring. This was a needless ugly war that could have been avoided and which Senator Ted Kennedy opposed. Yes, it is time that all international leaders realize that when their own hearts and minds surrender their own wills to the ethical and moral Risen man from Bethlehem, they do not need the historical claim of a special class of priests or Imams or Baptist ministers, or Popes, or anyone else to lead them into the presence of God through prayer. Rather, it is they themselves who have immediate access into His presence through the dynamite death and triumphant resurrection of Allah’s only Living Messiah. I quite deliberately chose the explosive world dynamite to describe his death. Because the enemy of man, Shitaan, has sought to erect impenetrable barriers between God and man. Thus, every time we do something against God’s will, or fail to do something that is His will for us to do, we erect dark barriers of sin between ourselves and our Holy Allah. Nevertheless, when our Messiah was raised by Allah from death, he was like dynamite blowing a mighty hole in the barrier of disobedience we had erected between ourselves and Allah. Therefore, with that access to the forgiveness of God created by the demolition of our disobedience through Allah’s symbolic mighty sacrifice, spoken of in the Quran symbolically as Allah’s great/azim sacrifice of His Messiah. (See Al Soffat 37:107). “And we ransomed him with a great/azim sacrifice.” And John 1:29, “and the next day Yahya/John saw Isa coming toward him and said, ‘behold the Lamb of Allah who takes away the sin of the world.’” So we ignore Allah’s great/azim, dynamite sacrifice to our own great peril. U.S. Turn’s Back on Allah’s Azim/Great SacrificeWhen the ALMIGHTY Allah Himself provides a great sacrifice for a person or a nation, for that nation to turn arrogantly away from that great foundational sacrifice is a grave, dangerous error. And this is what we observe occurring in the Foreign Affairs, September 2009 article entitled, Decline if Power, by Josef Joffe. However, Mr. Joffe’s eyes have apparently been blinded as to the true source of power. Consequently, this foreign policy scholar, from the prestigious Freeman Spogli Institute at Stanford, does not believe the U.S. is declining in power because he uses biased criteria to measure the source of stability and power for the U.S. nation. To his well trained secular mind, Allah/God and compassion are not factors for determining a nation’s strength. Rather, for this Stanford man, who must be considered one of the best and the brightest, it is the classic superiorities that insures that a nation will continue to lead all the other nations of the world. Apparently, for him issues such as values apparently would have little to do with a nation sustaining its superior status. It is significant to note the particular words and rhythms he uses in his attempt to contrast his firm conviction about the U.S. not declining and falling with the fact that the Roman Empire did definitely decline and fall. So he plays on the words of the Edward Gibbon historical classic, “The Decline and fall of the Roman Empire.” So he proclaims to those whom he derisively labels as the declinists that the U.S. is not declining and is not falling as Rome did. So to use an association with the widely respected historian, Edward Gibbon, Mr. Joffe cleverly states, “Commentators should always hesitate before they prophesy the decline and fall of the United States.” These similar right words of Joffe copying Gibbon were obviously chosen as a tongue in check ridicule of those who would prophesy doom and gloom for the U.S. similar to what was documented to have occurred in ancient Rome by the brilliant Gibbon. But from my perspective, no matter how hard Mr. Joffe attempts to reassure America that our future prosperity is virtually guaranteed, I don’t find his arguments persuasive. This is despite the fact that I think he has done a remarkable job of accentuating the highlights of numerous indicators that the U.S. will continue to prevail as the reigning heavy weight champion of the world. I also give him credit for taking on the main potential challenger, which he identifies as China, and exposing China’s potential weakness as heavy weight contender. But what I do find flawed in his presentation is that he fails to treat the spiritual decay of the U.S. that is rapidly eating away at the foundations of our society and making our nation’s long term survival as the world’s leading power very tenuous. However, before visiting the negative issues he so effectively avoided, we will briefly visit the strengths that he considers to be enduring. We will first take a glimpse at his broad sweeping statement with which it is difficult to argue. “The United States remains first on any scale of power that matters, whether it is economic, military, diplomatic, or cultural.” Yet, I will strongly disagree with his sweeping pronouncement. I am personally convinced that his use of the term, “any scale of power that matters”, is much too arrogant for the living Allah to tolerate. But we will take a look at what I consider to be Allah’s view after we observe three of our invulnerable strengths from our Stanford scholar’s perspective. The U.S. Economy The U.S. Economy is worth $14.3 trillion, three times as much as the world’s second largest economy; Japan. The U.S. has an even larger economy than that of the 16 country Euro zone, which is $13.5 trillion. The U.S. also leads the word with a per capita income of $4,700 per inhabitant. U.S. Military Power U.S. Education It is quite significant that it happens to be the Prophetic tradition of the Prophet Jeremiah on whom Mr. Joffe chooses to place the blame for using a “language of decay”, in order to encourage a U.S. domestic agenda, which would discourage militarism. So it is ironic that those who predict the U.S. decline are considered by him as latter day Jeremiahs. So it is amazing that one of the most powerful and ominous warnings to a nation from God through the words of this Prophet make it appear that God Himself had just read this arrogant, self assured article by this U.S. cheer leader/scholar. Consequently, after His having read the article, He has instructed his Prophet Jeremiah, to warn this scholar that he is playing with fire in contradicting God’s values and His warnings. For in one eloquent statement by God’s Prophet, He incisively warns against each of Mr. Joffe’s proud boasts about U.S. invulnerability. “Let not the wise man (or nation) glory in its wisdom (education), Let not the mighty man (or nation) glory in its Might (militarism), Let not the rich man (or nation) glory in its riches (wealth), But let the nation which glories, glory in this. That I am the Lord which exercises loving-kindness, justice (not pre-emptive was against an innocent nation of a cousin’s religion) and righteousness. For in these values, I delight (get thrilled about) sayeth the Lord.” It is also significant that none of the issues of compassion that the Messiah identifies as making a nation a positive sheep, instead of a negative goat, are even alluded to by scholar Joffe. (See Matthews 25:31-46 for the famous powerful parable of the Sheep and the Goats where meeting the needs of the hungry, the thirsty, the stranger, the sick, the naked, and the prisoners are given the highest priority of the now Risen Messiah who will be our nation’s final judge.) U.S. Christian Heritage in the FreezerThe United States had positive values in its beginning that often reflected a Christian heritage. Yet, that Christian heritage was at least temporarily dumped in the garbage in our exultation of slavery, which resulted in God’s judgment by the bloody, bloody Civil Way. I am not certain how to identify the Judgment that the U.S. experience, due to our despicable treatment of the American Indians and for the land we stole from them. But there is a little chance that our nation, which is riding high right now, will not soon get knocked off our lofty perch by God Himself for our arrogant, bloody foreign policy. When that occurs, all of the prolonged U.S. International leadership predicted by Mr. Joffe will not follow his rosy predictions. I would like to make one more important observation about the misunderstood term, “Christian Heritage.” There would be no Christian heritage without the victorious resurrection from death by the virgin born man from Bethlehem. Consequently, for any person who takes both the New Testament (The Injeel) seriously and the Holy Quran seriously (see Al Quran 4:158), there is absolutely no other explanation for what has happened to the Messiah except for the following explanation. Two thousand years ago, according to both the Quran and the Injeel, Allah raised him up alive. Therefore, he remains still alive today. For the Christians and the Muslims, when they stop to think about it, they all know that he is still physically alive and spiritually alive. This is even though most Muslims do not yet understand the truth of An-Nisa 4:158 that he was indeed raised by Allah from death, his still being alive in and of itself has tremendous significance since he is more than 2000 years old. Consequently, he has accumulated valuable wisdom, as well as receiving so much power from God. But what is ridiculous is this. This vital and relevant fact of his still being alive has been consistently overlooked and even forgotten. The Compassionate, moral, and even altruistic values of the U.S., which have been foundational to this nations greatness, are inextricably linked to both the documented resurrection of not only the New Testament, but also the documented being raised up live of the documented Messiah of the Holy Quran. Yes, that is the teaching of both of these books. They both authoritatively teach that he still remains both spiritually and physically alive today in September, 2009. But very few Muslims, Christians, Jews, Agnostics, or any one else realizes that that is precisely the wonderful reality that both of these books of these two great religions actually teach. There is absolutely nothing that has occurred in the last 2000 years to indicate that the man who participated in such activities as eating fish with his fisherman disciples in his forty days on earth after his resurrection, to stop him from still being today, spiritually and physically alive. And during that 40 day period, he also encouraged both his fisherman followers, and his intellectual followers, to reach out their heavily calloused fingers, or their soft fingers, into the spear wound in his side, and into the nail holes in his hands. And since that miraculous period of time, he has neither died, nor has he modified his compassionate, ethical, moral, or his non-militaristic attitudes. Yet, despite this over 2000 year old man with all this experience, and a memory that does not forget the bad we do, or the good we do, or the good that we fail to do, whether we are a Dick Cheney, a Henry Kissinger, an Ariel Sharron, a Benyamin Netanyahu or a Joseph Stalin. It is this Risen man from Bethlehem that is the ultimate reference point for each of us, whether we are Muslim, Christian, or whatever, no matter how much we ignore him and live our lives as though he does not exist. The Prophet Muhammad said about Allah, “that he is nearer to us than is our jugular vein.” So the same can he said of Allah’s more than 2000 year old Risen Man. Right now, Allah’s Living Messiah is nearer to us than our jugular vein. Therefore, we ignore him to our own eternal peril, which Mr. Joffe and his disciples apparently have chosen to do. back to "Late 2007 - 2010" page __________________________________________________________ _________________________________________ __________________________ _____________ |
