God's Gift to the United States

What I will say now will be exceptionally difficult for the majority of America's so-called Bible believing Christians to accept. For they don't buy into my firm conviction that the compassionate Creator of the world is fed up with the degeneration and rejection of spiritual values by the United States that are so deeply entrenched. He is also tired of our arrogance and our using violent coercion to make other nations advance our interests and not theirs that severe judgment is hovering over us like a violent storm cloud.

However, from my perspective, God has now raised up only one man who He has equipped to at least temporarily change the present degenerating course of the United States. Similarly to the way that I was introduced to the living Christ on Okinawa by a very bruised instrument (shortly after this unstable trumpet player introduced me to God's Risen Bethlehem man, he apparently deserted his wife and small child to link up with an Okinawan girl who had been forced into prostitution by the American occupation of Okinawa), Barack was also introduced to the Risen Messiah man by a very bruised, but deeply spiritual man, who has an extremely spiritual name sake, “Jeremiah” Wright.

Whether the instrument of introduction is very bruised or not, Barack's commitment to the living Christ appears to be deeply spiritual and authentic and though his former Pastor is capable of speaking both truth and distortions of truth, to his power, Barack has picked up on the original Prophet Jeremiah's compassion and his ability to receive stern criticism by the way he sees what others do not see and courageously speaks truth to power, as that courageous Prophet did.

So, from my perspective, God has equipped Barack Obama with both unique healing powers and negotiating powers, as well as an understanding that alternatives to coercion and violence must become the main tools of American foreign policy.

Therefore, if at this unique moment of the United States tottering on the edge of a precipice, if Barack Obama is rejected, we will definitely experience a further degeneration to our nation similar to what has occurred under the horrific eight years of Bush and Cheney. And, I personally understand the Bush-Cheney regime as a severe judgment by God on this formerly more righteous and stable nation. So if we reject a good, wise, spiritual man whom God, Himself is providing as a unique gift to our nation, it is very unlikely that we will soon receive a second chance. Thus, we will be fast descending on a toxic slippery slope with no end in sight.

United States leaders have become presumptuous about assuming that the one Almighty God has granted our nation the right to militarily and economically enforce our will on any and all nations of the world. In our leader's minds, it is as though God has made our vast Military-Industrial Complex a mighty hammer and He has made all of the other nations nails. So, when they resist our will, our mighty world-wide force drives them down as a hammer drives down nails.

Ominously, the time has arrived that both God and other nations now see the United States as the nail to be driven down. However, it may already be too late to erase the handwriting on the wall referred to in the chapter of the Prophet Daniel. But, if it is not too late, Barack Obama has, by far, the most understanding of what must be done to save the United States from further tragedy and from becoming a giant nail to be driven down.

Ominously, from the time that God gave the message on the wall to King Belshazzar that his mighty kingdom had been found wanting, and that he would lose it, as explained by the courageous Prophet Daniel, the loss was almost that very night when forces dug underneath the fortified city walls and overthrew one of the mightiest and most arrogant Kingdoms of the ancient world. Significantly, the God who warned King Belshazzar is the same God who is now observing America's arrogant militarism. Do we dare ignore our God's multiple warnings to the United States?
