Hillary Ignores Both the Messiah and the Prophet Ezekiel

Why did the now Risen Messiah say "He who lives by the sword will die by the sword." Or why would he say to the people of the 21st century, "The nation who lives by the power of weapons will die by the power of weapons"?

Or why is it recorded in 35:6 of the Prophet Ezekiel/Hezekial that the GOD of the Prophet was recorded as vividly stating that based on the truth of the Sovereign GOD's very existence, He Himself will deliver to bloodshed the nation which does not hate bloodshed.

""Therefore, as sure as I live, declares the Sovereign Lord, I will give you over to bloodshed and it will pursue you. Since you did not hate bloodshed, bloodshed will pursue you."

In view of these ominous warnings and multiple other vivid warnings from the inspired Scriptures against relying on weapons spoken by both the now Risen Messiah and the Prophet Ezekiel as well as by other Prophets, why do U.S. leaders not only ignore these warnings but brazenly refuse to factor these warnings into their attitudes and their foreign policy? These warnings are virtually screaming to all of mankind that any nation's reliance on weapons and military superiority will ultimately lead to absolute disaster. So the nation which possesses a distorted mind-set which trusts in and idolizes its own military superiority is begging for an accelerated downward slide.

History has again and again proven that it pays to listen and to take these warnings seriously. Yet no nation does. But why has a leader as intelligent and as spiritual as Hillary Clinton, blatantly chosen to ignore such warnings? Is she unable to comprehend that these Biblical warnings are now screaming to mankind that a reliance on weapons to "coerce", persuade, prevent and punish other nations ultimately brings horrible unintended consequences? These dreadful consequences can include overwhelming suffering and absolute destruction for the initiating nation as well as for the attacked nation and even much suffering for other nations in our very connected, interdependent world.

Being familiar with this awful reality but apparently either ignoring or suppressing that familiarity, why did the leading candidate to be next President make the following hawkish statement in his August 2007 interview with Newsweek magazine?

"I have always believed that American force was there as the strongest tool in our tool box for leading the world and pursing American national interests"But I think that the threat of national force backed up by coercive diplomacy is a very strong position for the U.S. to be in""

This coercive, hawkish statement was made by a person who has made many references to how her devout Methodist heritage has sustained her during difficult times. Yet, she appears quite willing to mock the Sovereign GOD of the Scripture who not only "declared" to Ezekiel to warn about the dreadful consequences of shedding blood. But He also directed most of the Prophets to give warning after warning about the tragic consequences which inevitably follow as nations develop a neurotic dependence on weapons, on fortresses (whether they are stationary or floating) or a dependence on an octopus like Military Industrial Complex (which pays high salaries to retired military officers). The warning certainly would also include a nation's dependence on its Pentagon (which is a sort of an advanced prep school to prepare near retirement officers for later high paid positions as advisors, arms salesman lobbyists, etc., and its dependence on its slick, professional, internationally revered military academies which are a literal high tech production line which is designed to produce a culture of committed career military officers.

In vivid contrast to our country's excessive emphasis on its military culture, ALLAH's Holy Scriptures again and again emphasize the absolute wrong-headedness of any nation purposely cultivating the despicable arrogance that is inevitably woven into the fabric of such a horribly destructive attitude where the military and weapons are the nation's main focus.

It is exceptionally significant that when the infectious virus of arrogance first gained a grip on the heart and mind of ALLAH's highly respected King David, ALLAH Himself immediately performed radical surgery in order to totally root out the highly infectious virus. To complete this radical surgery no less than 70,000 (seventy thousand) valuable citizens lost their lives in order to hopefully set a precedent and to establish a serious warning in the heart and minds of all future Israeli leaders that arrogance regarding military superiority is considered both disgusting and dangerous to GOD. And this has already occurred under the reign of a usually stable and wise King David to set a precedent for what should not be allowed to occur under the reign of the unstable and off the wall, King Bush. This lesson of the awful consequences of King David's anti-GOD arrogance during a brief period of spiritual slippage is discussed in the 24th chapter of II Samuel. This chapter is not only exceptionally tragic but it is also a dreadful episode in the life of the renown King David.

Even though GOD was well aware of the need for King David's young nation to have a strong and respected military, a serious problem developed with the King's attitude. King David temporarily was totally unwilling to recognize the seriousness of his unacknowledged ego problem. He continued in stubborn denial even though his main military officers unanimously confronted him with the serious problems that would be caused by his unnecessarily counting every potential fighting man in his entire nation. (This scenario of the top civilian leader in charge totally rejecting the advice of experienced military officers and thus getting the entire nation into deep trouble should sound quite familiar to both Americans and international observers of America's present eccentric, ego centered leadership.)

The wise military commanders, who were more aware than the King of the almost certain negative fall-out from his ego-centric plan, pleaded with him not to proceed with the extensive numbering campaign in order to further justify his reasons for braggadocio and arrogance. But the king remained stubborn and he insisted that this gigantic numbering of every able bodied young man in his entire nation continue since he the decider had decided. So he refused to be influenced by wise advice because he had learned at Yale, I mean he had learned in the green pastures while herding sheep, that a decider must be decisive. 

Predictably, after his foolish nation wide emphasis on military preparedness was completed the whole sorry ego driven affair back fired. No less an experienced authority than the Sovereign GOD revealed that He Himself was extremely displeased with the reckless, irresponsible decision of the decider. But tragically, like most bad decisions by ideology driven ego inflated leaders, it was the nation's people who would pay the horrible consequences for the leader's ill advised decision. (This horrible scenario of a leader creating a catastrophic situation in the sight of a Holy GOD after foolishly and callously rejecting wise advice should be readily recognizable to especially those parents, friends and relatives of those unnecessarily slain and maimed in Iraq, whether they be Iraqis, Americans or others. And this whole bloody fiasco in Iraq has very little to do with fighting terror, (there were no terrorists in Iraq before the war in Iraq to rid Iraq of terrorists.) but very much to do with the ego needs of an arrogant, insecure man who loves to wield authority and demand that others dance to his tune. And after he leaves office this shameless man wants some of his twisted admirers to pay him $75,000 to hear him boast about how he and his hero Harry Truman saved so many American lives by killing foreigners.

After King David's  Arrogant Pride Project had been completed GOD's Face the Consequences Project was ready to begin. Therefore GOD sent His courageous Prophet Gad to inform the now conscience stricken, grieving King of the three alternatives he must choose from to be the three punishments for what he foolishly had done. Undoubtedly, the punishment was made even more severe due to all the positive advice that the King had stubbornly ignored. (It should be noted by American leaders that GOD considered it necessary that both the King as well as his kingdom receive severe punishment even though what King David did was much less consequential than what George Bush has done in Iraq. Yet, David was conscious stricken for the evil that he had done. In total contrast to the King's contrition, the self righteous Bush who thinks that he has only done wonderful things in Iraq, will shamelessly charge people $75,000 a speech to hear about all the blood he shed to punish the horrible persons who disagree with his "freedom" agenda.

Even before the Prophet Gad confronted King David to give him his three punishment options, it is written that: "David was conscious-stricken after he had counted the fighting men."

"So he said to the Lord, €˜I have sinned greatly in what I have done. Now, O Lord, I beg you, take away the guilt of your servant. I have done a very foolish thing."

(If President Bush's prayers have revealed a similar attitude, he has certainly hidden any contrition very effectively.) The very next morning, even after GOD had heard this humble prayer of confession, the GOD who created the universe still sent the Prophet Gad to present to the already contrite King David his three punishment options.

"So Gad went to David and said to him, €˜Shall there come three years of famine in your land? Or three months of fleeing from your enemies as they pursue you? Or three days of plague in your land? Now think it over and decide how I should answer the One who sent me.'"

"So David said to Gad, €˜I am in deep distress. Let us fall into the hands of the Lord, for his mercy is great; but do not let me fall into the hands of men.'"

"So the LORD sent an epidemic on Israel which lasted from that morning until the time that he had chosen from one end of the country to the other- seventy thousand Israelites died."

Oh ladies and gentlemen of the International jury, yes this severe punishment from Our Holy GOD on this contrite King and his Kingdom for seemingly only irresponsible arrogance shocks us all. But two realities must grasp out attention. The first is that GOD is Holy. He views the foundational sin of arrogance which prepares the way for exceptionally horrible death and destruction as Iraq has demonstrated, is a horrible sin and must receive severe punishment or else it will grow and even cause more horrible suffering and death. Both the Bible and the Quran are very specific about the dreadful consequences of Arrogance.

The second reality is that the arrogance of George Bush and Dick Cheney and other arrogant members of their administration have already wrought much much more death, destruction and unimaginable suffering for others than the judgment God visited on the people of Kind David for his arrogance regarding wanting to prove military superiority.

But oh ladies and gentlemen, please consider with dread and awe the stricken conscience of King David for his minor sin compared with the detestable sin of President Bush. He is unable to admit it but he has brought much greater suffering, displacement and death with his arrogance than did the finally contrite and humbled King David. So what kind of punishment will GOD consider that Bush's nation deserves for the terrible sin of the still arrogant President George Bush and Dick Cheney as well as other still arrogant members of their administration as well as many of his arrogant supporters? Has President Bush offered even one public word of contrition or apology for his crimes against humanity and for the rivers of blood his invasion and occupation has initiated in Iraq? Absolutely not! Instead he has shamefully put on public display his extremely putrid arrogance. As previously noted, he has publicly wondered how many $75,000 speeches he can give to add to the twenty million dollars he already has. Ladies and gentlemen, has our world ever witnessed greater calloused arrogance? Yes, it has. Both Stalin and Hitler exhibited far worse arrogance and so the Middle East community of Muslims can view that as a positive for both George W. Bush and Dick Cheney. Neither of these leaders has yet received the deserved recognition that they each have worked so tirelessly to deserve for not yet reaching the high standards of arrogance achieved by the Russian Stalin or the Austrian, Hitler.

To return to the question of why new President aspirant, Senator Clinton obviously ignores the stern warning from the Scripture that the worship of weapons both backfires on the nation which worships weapons and also severely displeases GOD.

The first answer seems to be that with most all of the Presidential candidates, Republican or Democrat, they view appearing strong and therefore electable, as a much higher priority than taking seriously historic Scriptures that the voters do not take seriously.

It is important to realize that though I singled out Senator Clinton due to her quotable quote where she set herself up for criticism for being a virtual Republican hawk, it is fully accepted by U.S. voters that the next President must ride the present winning horse of military supremacy until it becomes lame or broken and then and not until then will this nation fade.

The mid August 2007 Newsweek magazine with the Senator's picture featured on the cover made one point abundantly clear. That is, to be a successful and re-electable President, you must work within the system and not challenge the system. Ladies and gentlemen, right now whether it is right or not, whether it is going against GOD or not, whether it is going against other nations or not, whether it seriously is the long range or even short range interest of the U.S. as a leading nation, the present system of the U.S. is that "might makes right" and that is the way it is and the way it will continue to be until devastating predictable circumstances change that.

So people of the U.S., it is time to fear and tremble because the U.S. is walking on thin ice in our icy cold relationship with the majority of the nations of the world. And whether we will acknowledge it or not, the thin ice that both the U.S. and the polar bears presently walk on due to the environment getting much warmer and the ice getting much thinner will not much longer be able to support either us or the polar bears. The trouble is, the supposedly less intelligent polar bears seems to sense their danger. But the supposedly more intelligent Americans are soon going to be saying, "What happened?" unless the unchangeable present system changes. Prayer for mercy and frantic preparation of the life boats seem to be the only viable options during this vulnerable, myopic, naive period of denial.
