My Sincere Apology to Arab Muslims

In the summer of 2009, months after President Obama's Cairo speech, I wrote three papers discussing his potential assassination by enraged Israelis. Of course I am overwhelmingly relieved that I believe this danger has past. But, I am ashamed of the reasons for my relief.

I totally underestimated the power of the head-lock the immoral Israeli Lobby has on the U.S. Presidency. My hopes that President Obama would courageously stand up for Justice for Palestinians against Israeli injustice, have been overcome by the power of the Israeli Lobby.

According to an excellent editorial by Hasan Abu Nimah of The Jordan Times of 7/14/10, President Obama has, according to MJ Rosenberg, now earned the title of "the most pro-Israeli president ever."

Why does Abu Nimah believe President Obama deserves this title? He states:

"Netanyahu got away with everything he wanted:
Building more settlements;
Expanding Jerusalem Colonization;
Evicting Palestinians from their homes to build recreation parks for Israelis;
Maintaining a punitive siege on one-million and a half Palestinians in Gaza;
Blocking every effort to resume meaningful talks."

But Tom Griffith (Abu Toma) is shouting and screaming on his website a potentially wonderful reality into the apparently deaf ears of every true Muslim Statesman. There is one wonderful reality that Netanyahu has absolutely no control over; that the evil Israeli Lobby has absolutely no control over; that even the U.S. President and his Israel supporting U.S. Congress have absolutely no control over; which Sarah Palin, Franklin Graham, and James Dobson's radical Christian right absolutely have no control over; which even the most wicked anti-Muslim neo-cons have absolutely no control over.

But what is this wonderful, wonderful reality that will ultimately make a difference in at least partially counteracting Israel's evil immoral domination of U.S. policy decisions regarding Israel and the Palestinians? And the especially good news is that it is only Muslim leaders of integrity who will have virtually total control of taking full advantage of this glorious gift directly from ALLAH. For it is only short-sighted Muslims who will be the ones who will be able to interfere with this once in a century opportunity for Muslims.

This is a sea change ALLAH given opportunity which absolutely no person or Powerful Israeli Lobby will be able to take away from Middle Eastern Arab Muslims. For it is truly a gift directly from ALLAH that truly the only persons who can interfere with this gift is short sighted, partially blind Muslims. This gift is the glorious opportunity to finally set the record straight about what two key verses from the Qur'an, when understood together, actually mean.

And when this ALLAH provided opportunity to set the record straight is soon acted upon, it will mean a virtual cancellation of the harmful effects on Muslims of negative U.S. Policies against U.S. Arab Muslims. Yes, it will be an absolutely necessary correction to the sincere but sincerely mistaken position of Muslim leaders about the true meaning of verses, An-Nisa 4:157 and 158 in the Holy Qur'an.

Their understandable but extensively damaging mistake has been this. They have not realized that when the profound verse 4:157 emphasizes that it appeared to the Jews (shubbiiha lahum) that the Messiah had been killed and crucified, but according to the verse that he had not been killed nor crucified, the difference that is actually being debated is the difference between temporary death and permanent death.

The Jews were saying to themselves that it appeared to them that he was dead forever. They were sure they had totally gotten rid of their pain in the neck Messiah forever. But since killed or crucified definitely means permanence, the Qur'an's legitimate point of view in this verse is this: The Messiah had definitely neither been killed nor crucified. Because of the temporary period of his death due to ALLAH having raised him up after his temporary death, of course it was totally correct and legitimate for this verse to say that he had neither been killed nor crucified. So this verse must be only understood to mean that he had not been killed permanently. Because being killed permanently is the only meaning that killed and crucified actually communicate. So these words in this verse were only intended to mean that he had not been killed permanently, though it appeared to them that he had been killed permanently.

This is because that this verse is aware that it is definite that a permanently killed man and permanently crucified man cannot be raised up alive. But as soon as the believers saw that ALLAH had defeated the laws of nature and had raised him up alive, the appearance that he had been killed forever was only an appearance. Because a truly killed or a truly crucified Messiah is definitely not three days later alive. But, because he had not been forever killed and had not been forever crucified, ALLAH's Eternal Wisdom and ALLAH's Eternal Might empowered him to be walking around alive and speaking with his followers three days later.

(Of course, in these two concentrated verses about what it appeared to his Jewish assassins as to what they thought they had accomplished with the Messiah, there was absolutely no necessity for the Holy Qur'an to fill in the many details of his resurrection that are sufficiently covered in the previous Scriptures/Injeel which the Qur'an instructs Muslims to consult (See Yunus 10:94).

As the next verse so clearly indicates, ALLAH used His Eternal Wisdom and Eternal Might to raise him up alive. So His wonderful Resurrection by ALLAH has no other alternative but to mean that the Messiah was not truly, permanently killed and was not truly, permanently crucified. Why? Because both words, killed and crucified, clearly carry the meaning and weight of permanence. And a Messiah who was truly killed and truly crucified is not joyfully fixing a lake side fried fish breakfast for his surprised followers (See Injeel-John 21).

No Sir, he was not truly killed. No Sir, he was not truly crucified. How can we be certain? Because of the Qur'an's wonderful An-Nisa 4:158. Allah used His Eternal Wisdom and His Eternal Might to raise him up alive. But this Eternal Wisdom and Eternal Might of ALLAH would definitely not have been wasted on a silly CIA type identity switch. To accomplish such an identity switch definitely would not have required ALLAH's Eternal Wisdom and ALLAH's Eternal Might.

Please, O Muslim leaders, consider this. Do you think rabidly anti-Muslim Neo-cons are going to be pleased when they find out that a majority of Muslims are now showing commitment to their own Qur'an's Risen Messiah who both defeated the plans of the Jews and death? And the Qur'an's Messiah is the New Testament's Messiah.

Or, do you truly think the manipulative Israeli Lobby wants Muslims to now take a public stand with their very own Risen Messiah who two thousand years ago totally defeated them and made them look ridiculous when they couldn't get rid of him?

Or, do you really think the Israeli manipulated U.S. Congress and U.S. Pentagon who see Israel as a stationery U.S. Air Craft Carrier in the Mediterranean, want the Muslim world to have their own Risen Messiah who once defeated their now special Jewish heroes? And do you think Muslim reactionary traditionalists who cannot see further than the end of their noses and who cannot accept the true depth of the meaning of An-Nisa 4:157 and 158, will want Islam to now at last have their own Risen Messiah? They want Islam to continue to receject an authentic non-militarized Messiah who persuasively emphasized that those who live by the sword (of militarization) will die by the sword (of militarization).

O Muslims, each of these truly reactionary entities which I have just listed will have much, much to lose when millions and millions of, especially Arab Middle East Muslims, truly embrace the authentic Risen Messiah and allow the international community to find out that this is what they have done.

Do you truly think Sarah Palin, James Dobson, Franklin Graham, and members of the far right-wing Christian right will be please that a potential majority of 1,500,000,000 Muslims will have their own Risen Messiah in contrast to their own cherished chosen Israel virtually unanimously rejecting him?

That constructive reasonable adjustment by Islam of embracing him will most certainly drive all kinds of the Israeli manipulated entities absolutely nuts/majnoon. Because Israel is very comfortable with the U.S. serving and worshipping an American created highly militarized Messiah. But when you, O Islam, discover that your now Risen Messiah is not only willing to figuratively fix you a lakeside breakfast of fish like he fixed for his disciples 2000 years ago, but also to prepare for you abundant warm Arab bread and the olives of your choice.

O Muslims, he is risen and he is living in your midst. And he is truly yearning for you to warmly embrace him. But believe me when I say that there are many possessive Americans who believe the Messiah is dressed in a red, white, and blue flag, and carries a grenade or controls a killer pilotless drone flying to the tune of the American National Anthem - The Star Spangled Banner. But that is not the character of the Messiah that ALLAH Himself empowered to walk out of a Jerusalem tomb alive three days after one of the cruelest Israeli murders of a Prophet to ever occur.

No! The Risen Messiah who is patiently waiting for Islam to embrace him is compassionate and loving. He is most certainly not the Netanyahu type militarized deceiver and land grabber that so many Israelis would welcome as a Messiah for Israel.

O Islam! There will be extreme jealousy and overwhelming consternation, and possibly the grinding of some Israeli and American teeth, when one magnificent event occurs. This event involves some key, wise, courageous, foresighted Muslim leaders taking only one step regarding one verse out of all of the thousands of verses in the Holy Qur'an. They will be sufficiently wise to make a totally legitimate and justified adjustment to their understanding of one verse in the Holy Qur'an and how it is affected by the next verse. So this whole process involves only the legitimate adjustment of the understandable misunderstanding of the intended meaning of only one part of one verse in the Holy Qur'an.

O Islam! The power is yours from ALLAH. The choice is yours from ALLAH. But are there Muslim leaders who will pray to ALLAH for the wisdom and the courage to make the wise choice?

And do not think for one minute that it is only the justified public relations advantage and change of image for Muslim Arabs in contrast to manipulative Israelis that will be the main positive outcome for ALLAH's beloved Arab Muslims. Islam's vital new acknowledged relationship with ALLAH's living, accessible Messiah will bear both practical and spiritual fruit whose benefits must not be underestimated and thought to be for only Palestinians. And these benefits will not be for only stable Arab Muslim nations. This nourishing fruit will also be for currently struggling nations such as Afghanistan, Somalia and Sudan, whose women and girls especially need the understanding and support of a wise, just and caring Risen Messiah.

But will this new acceptance by Islam of the Qur'an's Risen from Death Messiah have any influence on radical extremist groups such as Hezbollah, Hamas, the Taliban and even Al-Qaeda? Of course the change will have a progressive dynamic effect. Any change which is from ALLAH and contributes to limiting Israel in its evil dominating control of the U.S. will finally lessen the motivation of the region's extremists. They will finally rid themselves of the overwhelming conviction that to resort to violence is virtually the only way to balance Israel's great propaganda and power advantage.

But of course all of the progressive change will not happen overnight. Nevertheless, if there remains doubt whether my explanation is valid that the Qur'an's Messiah was temporarily killed but not permanantly killed because he was raised alive by ALLAH's Eternal Wisdom and Might only three days later, the Qur'an itself contains a worthy stamp of approval of my explanation. An overlooked, but extremely important verse, Al-Imran 3:55 portrays ALLAH Himself giving total vindication to my explanation by Himself authoritatively proclaiming both His Messiah's death and his own raising him alive.

"Behold! ALLAH said, O Isa, I will cause you to die (mutawafiik) and raise you to myself!" In these few short words ALLAH has clearly stated precisely what Islam denies that occurred to ALLAH's Messiah.
