Why isn't the Whole World Screaming?

The Wicked Quartet

The Three Stooges was the name of a hilariously funny movie featuring three idiotic men who each kept doing something more stupid than the other. This movie is a metaphor for the four stooges who were the chief influence on a clueless President Bush for starting the present needless conflagration in Iraq.

The author of Dead Certain, a new book about the Bush Presidency, is quoted in The Economist as stating a classical understatement about Bush's tragedy producing blunders as President. "Some of the Administration's errors would have been comical if they had not been so serious."

The alarming reality is that the most influential nation in the world has a destructive blundering, inept, calloused clown as a President. Yet, the entire world remains mostly tolerant and complacent and much too silent. We are similar to a person with an annoying mosquito buzzing around our head and we are simply waiting for it to fly away, though we do intermittently but ineffectively wave our hands at it. But if Muslims and Christians were to take the clear teachings of Scriptures seriously, rage against the wickedness represented by George Bush's policies toward Iraq would be the prevailing mood in our interconnected world. Especially should rage against this clear and prevalent evil characterize the attitudes among the entire world's Islamic and Christian communities.

Of course the world's agnostic and atheistic communities should be enraged as well as all the members of all other religious and non-religious communities. For instance, evil circumstances at the Jewish temple of worship in Jerusalem caused so much indignation and rage in ALLAH's Messiah, that he hand wove a whip of cords. Then he charged into the area, liberating caged animal sacrifices and turning over the tables of exploitive money changers. Yet, those regretful circumstance that so enraged ALLAH's now risen Bethlehem man were far less consequential than the blunders in Iraq that have now resulted in tens of thousands of needless maimings and deaths.

As only one example, the Messiah's rage at the Temple exploiters which inspired him to drive them out of the temple courtyard with a whip, was a serious and disgusting situation, But the consequences of merchants stealing from worshippers would seem to inspire much less rage from either ALLAH or His Risen Messiah than George Bush and Paul Bremmer criminally neglecting to discuss the disbanding of the entire Iraqi army which would have provided vital stability for the whole Iraqi nation. But instead of stability, instability and chaos were guaranteed with thousands of embittered, hungry, suddenly unemployed but still mostly armed, former soldiers were abruptly dismissed and callously catapulted into the streets of Baghdad to become the backbone of the enraged insurgents.

Regarding the visible absence of effective opposition to the Bush tragedy in Iraq, former NBC's Tom Brokaw is quoted in the Nov. 19, U.S. News and World Report as lamenting: "A lot of people on the left are saying 'I can't believe we have this outrage over what's happening in Iraq, and we just go home at the end of the day and worry about getting our kids in the right schools.'" So even the political left's total outrage is wasted because their domestic preoccupations prevent them from doing anything constructive to deter the American initiated massacre and massive displacement of innocent Iraqi citizens.

Most of us view this serious sin of our doing nothing as complacency. However, ALLAH's ancient Prophet Obadiah, shocks us with a whole different slant on how evil complacency actually is. He calls it, "standing aloof" while someone else is suffering. Obadiah tells us that God views this aloofness as a destructive act of violence for which the perpetrators of this violence will be punished by God.

His stern words are in the one chapter Old Testament book by his name: "Because of the violence against your brother Jacob you will be covered with shame; you will be destroyed forever. On the day you stood aloof while strangers carried off his wealth and foreigners entered his gates and cast lots for Jerusalem, you were like one of them. Obadiah1:10,11

Therefore according to this Prophet of ALLAH, as recorded in His Holy Scriptures, if Muslims and Christians everywhere are aloof and complacent and do not do whatever we can do to expose, to limit or to stop George Bush and Dick Cheney's destructive wickedness, before ALLAH we are with them in doing their wickedness. According to the severe words of Obadiah, we are "like one of them".

Yes, all the members of the U.N. the members of the U.S. Congress, countless international institutions and individuals throughout the entire world are expected by ALLAH to be proactive in counteracting, in a non-violent way, the destructive evil activities of the Bush Administration. The entire world has a responsibility to become enraged as a step toward becoming engaged in some way in screaming out and praying against all wickedness in every form.

A powerful contemporary example of persistently speaking out against many forms of wickedness is the recently martyred South African, Lucky Dube. He sang against apartheid, alcoholism, drugs, promiscuity, racial quotas, crime and even gang violence, before he was murdered in front of two of his seven children in a violent car jack. But his quiet but steady non-violent rage against evil brought much healing to many people in South Africa and did much to reverse apartheid.

The Wicked Quartet

Much is being said about the exceptionally poor choices that Rudi Guliani would make regarding persons to work with him if he were to win the Presidency. Of course, a major reason for the negativity is his former support for the now severely discredited Bernie Kerik. Yet, in contrast to this partially deserved negativity for Guliani, is the lack of deserved negativity that there should have been for the quartet of extremely questionable characters who were the main cheerleaders for Bush to invade and occupy Iraq and bring near maximum suffering and death to the innocent citizens of that sovereign nation.

When you link together these four negative individuals, the four parts together become much more negative then the individual parts. First you have the effective self-deceived snake oil salesman, Paul Wolfowitz. Then there is the serial prevaricator, Dick Cheney. Next is the wanted-by-the-law in both Lebanon and Jordan, the infamous and wealthy bank embezzler, Ahmed Chalabi. To finalize the four it would be difficult to find a person who would possibly defeat all three in a competition for evilness and deception. But the lying Iraqi asylum seeker and former scientist, (code named Curveball) could compete with anyone with his amorality and skills at deception.

So there you have the incompetent blundering Bush's four chosen pillars on which he based his invasion and occupation of the innocent people of the sovereign Muslim nation of Iraq; four seasoned experts in crime, deception and exploitation. The following are additional brief sketches of the four.

Paul Wolfowitz:
Considered brilliant. However, he has virtually no ability to factor in complexities which do not fit in with his one big idea or grand scheme that he has come up with at a particular time for solving everything in the world. At the time before the Iraq war his big idea was to use the superior economic and military might of the U.S. to force democracy on the Middle East in order to stop the potential for terrorism to be nurtured in non-democratic nations.

If it is possible, he seems to be more amoral than Carl Rove in justifying the use of any means necessary including death and destruction to bring about his particular chosen solution. But he also has a salesman's ability to win over people in positions of power such as George Bush and Dick Cheney to his particular narrow point of view such as democratizing the entire Middle East beginning with Iraq by using the U.S.'s unparalleled military might. So Bush and Cheney bought into his despicable logic and decided to bring democracy to all the nations of the Middle East beginning with Iraq using weapons of mass destruction in Iraq as an acceptable pretense for their invasion. So they grandly imagined that they could use American might and ingenuity to plant democracy in the midst of the fiercely divided people of the complex nation of Iraq. Thus, they were certain that they could solve the complex problems. But they inspired more violence to spring from the Middle East by trying to spread a veneer of American supported and manipulated so-called democracy over the region. For the President to have listened to the grand plan and big idea of Paul Wolfowitz was an unmitigated disaster.

Dick Cheney:
This man has his own set of unique glasses that he wears to help him see the world as he wants to see it. So he sees a different set of realities than anyone else. But he also has the salesman's ability to convert others over to his unique, obsessive point of view. He has succeeded in convincing many that Sadam Hussein's Iraq had a major part in 9-11, though no other officials have come up with verifiable evidence connecting 9-11 with Iraq. But from Cheney's distorted perspective, destroying terrorists in Iraq, which had no terrorists until the U.S. invaded Iraq, is the most effective way of preventing future terrorist acts against the peace loving, innocent but vulnerable people of the U.S. Thus, since he remains so focused on wiping out terrorists in Iraq, which had no terrorists until we invaded, anyone who would dare to offer evidence that would interfere with what he has decided to accomplish must be either discredited, neutralized, marginalized or wiped out. Therefore, he considered it totally ethical and moral in his warped view of ethics, to send his hatchet man, Scooter Libby, out to destroy the careers of a CIA officer and her husband and possibly the lives of her contacts, in order to discredit her husband's evidence that Cheney was wrong about alleged evidence that supported his case for the invasion of Iraq. Bush's listening to Cheney has been another unmitigated catastrophe.

Curveball:
Respected columnist, George Will, writing for the Washington Post and quoted in The Week magazine, reminds us of this Iraqi defector, code named (Curveball), whose lies to German agents and were recognized as lies by German agents, were irresponsibly and even stupidly used by the eager and utterly disingenuous Bush Administration to justify a preemptive war in Iraq in order to eliminate the imaginary mobile biological weapons laboratories invented by the resourceful, deceptive mind of Curveball. Furthermore, due to the fertile imaginations of the impressionable, anxious to please CIA agents, based on the outlandish lies from Curveball who was seeking justification for asylum in Germany, the CIA agents began making giant leaps of faith with the wrong information that they had gathered second hand from the lying clown Curveball.

Based on their own CIA satellite images of Iraq and further based on what the lying Curveball had fed to German agents, (Significantly, Curveball was never once interviewed by U.S. agents though we used his information to convince the U.N. to approve our invasion of Iraq.) that Sadam Hussein had cleverly moved his biological weapons program into mobile labs. So the eager CIA agents went wild and began identifying Iraqi farmer's chicken coops and their cylindrical corn drying drums as hidden missiles. Tragically, this whole variety of blatantly false information the CIA had magically invented, based on Curveball, "sent Secretary of State, Colin Powell, to the U.N. with (supposed) photographic evidence of chemical munitions depots, weapons factories and other threats - all of which existed only in the analyst's fevered imaginations". So President Bush giving another documented liar credibility in order to justify a war he so desperately wanted to justify, was one more unmitigated disaster.

Ahmed Chalabi:
It is impossible to top these other three key precipitators and facilitators of the tragic war and occupation of Iraq. Still, the exceptionally clever Iraqi bank swindler and con artist ranks among the top in the world in his evil craft of deception. Ahmed Chalabi not only successfully manipulated U.S. officials to overlook his considerable bank embezzlements in both Lebanon and Jordan, but he also influenced them in other areas that fit into the administration's definitive plans to both invade and exploit Iraq. He convinced key U.S. officials including President Bush and Vice-President Cheney that since Sadam Hussein had so greatly alienated the Iraqi people, the majority of the Iraqis would welcome America as liberators. So there would be little resistance to either the American invasion or to the U.S. establishing democracy in Iraq in order to be a wonderful example of democracy to the whole Arab world. Just as remarkably, this amoral embezzler of elderly people's life savings and highly successful con artist had convinced key powerful people in the State Department and Pentagon that he was the right Iraqi to be the new American supported leader of a new liberated and democratic Iraq. One more wicked con artist who should never have been listened to.

Your Necessary Response

Please, oh citizens of the international community, whether you are Muslims or Christians or anything else, whether you are leaders or followers or in-betweeners, please cry out against the wickedness being perpetrated by the Bush Administration. That the U.S. invaded Iraq with more or less U.N. approval after being strongly influenced toward the illegal invasion by such a discredited group of con artists is an absolute disgrace of tragic proportions. ALLAH Himself is quite aware that the people of Iraq did absolutely nothing to deserve the destruction and suffering that George Bush with these specific enablers and many other enablers, have visited upon the innocent, mostly Muslims in Iraq. He will never forget their wicked bloodshed.

The Sinking of the Titanic

Perhaps there is at least a partial explanation for why the entire world is not screaming more about the extensive wicked injustice that the U.S. has visited on Iraq. Yet, this reason may be more at the subconscious level rather than the conscious level. It is that much of the world for many years has deeply resented the hubris that has so sickenly accompanied the relentless hegemony of the U.S. But the world has been incapable due to the lack of power, to take effective steps to challenge the economic and military superiority of the U.S. (Even the most potential President, Hilary Clinton, arrogantly and openly uses the obnoxious term coercive diplomacy to characterize how even a future administration led by her would relate to other sovereign nations.)

So the world in it's heart of hearts realizes that there now exists only one national power on this earth which has the capability to counter the superior strength of the United States in order to begin the dismantling process to neutralize the strengths of its institutions. Significantly, world citizens, the only nation which possesses that unique capability to bring down the U.S. is the U.S.

But in order to carry out this gigantic dismantling project, there has been needed an effective, but at the same time, totally inept Captain at the helm, guiding what a poet has aptly called, “The U.S. Ship of State.” Thus, if a sufficiently incompetent, clueless leader were found to pilot the U.S. Ship of State, this would virtually guarantee a Titanic type, relatively abrupt ship wreck. Therefore, if world institutions such as the U.N. and individual nations were to be too publicly vociferous in protesting the gross injustice of what the U.S. has perpetrated in Iraq under the inept, self-destructive leadership of the amazingly ineffective command and control team of George W. Bush and Dick Cheney, it could actually result in halting the decline of the U.S. For their more outspoken criticism of the U.S. would interfere with the welcome process by other nations of the present self destruction inflicted on their own nation by these two partially blind leaders. To not interfere with the energetic and effective efforts to immobilize itself appears to be the most safe way to achieve the destructive results that so many other nations have been so silently hoping for.

So standing back and allowing these two incompetent, calloused, myopic leaders to continue to steer their out of control Ship of State toward their chosen ice berg which is Iraq, fulfills the desires of dozens of nations who are certain their own nations have been consistently exploited. So they welcome the opportunity for the clueless captain to be the main man of destiny to guide his ship of state into the turbulent waters which represent the perfect storm. So this one man's advanced, incompetent leadership virtually guarantees the Titanic type unexpected and unpredicted, disastrous sinking of the U.S. Ship of State.

Therefore, the world is not screaming in protest about the degenerate injustice which is currently taking place in a vulnerable, sovereign nation in order to avoid setting into motion effective efforts of damage control by the formerly in control perpetrators. Without fully understanding the dreadful extensive consequences which will be experienced by the U.S., much of the world is giving quiet thanks for the totally inept leadership of the amazingly incompetent team of George W. Bush and Dick Cheney. Like a pair of skilled comedians, they have effectively ushered in the end of the unpleasant and deeply resented twin U.S. H's of hubris and U.S. hegemony. The inevitable abrupt decline under such incompetent leadership has set in motion a mighty destructive ripple effect. It is relentlessly spreading outward from these two clowns' initiated but avoidable choice to invade and occupy Iraq.

For those who may resent my strong language and abusive ridicule of two imposters who are pretending to be responsible world leaders who are supposed to deserve respect, my reply to them is just as strong. When you consider the unnecessary blood and horrible suffering these two men have brought upon the innocent Muslims and Christians of Iraq and also on America, my insulting words do not begin to be strong enough. This is without even factoring in the terrible negative future consequences these two men have brought to their own formerly productive nation and other nations. I am also convinced that if a true Prophet of ALLAH were writing on this same subject, his words would be much more severe than mine but undoubtedly would be stated with considerably more competence.

Here is a short poem that the devious Vice President could have composed. Now he virtually recites it every time he thinks that any one is not patriotic and has the audacity to criticize this Administration's choice to visit bloody chaos on the innocent citizens of Iraq.

Cheney's Excuse

Immorally, this poem's seemingly plausible explanation of why gross blood sacrifices are necessary is often challenged and is accepted as conventional wisdom.

That these depraved blood sacrifices were necessary is a blatant lie. It is an irrational distortion of reality which attempts to put a blood soaked blanket over a brutal national crime against a precious portion of Arab Muslim and Christian humanity.

Significantly, it was a respected Professor at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem who offered a much more humane and quite realistic plan to rid Iraq of Saddam Hussein and his most important associates. But his plan would not have created the bloody chaos and unbelievable displacement and suffering that the U.S. has caused in a large part of that sovereign nation.

In a series of essays by various authors appearing in the book, ”The Right War” writers Elsworth and Rosen extensively refer to this wise, non-ideological driven Professor on his realistic plan to have a Saddam free Iraq. Professor Shlomo Avinera offered pragmatic counsel.

America could have made it clear from the start that Washington had no ambitions in Iraq beyond removing the threat of Saddam's regime and co-opted the UN and the Arab League to create a provisional post-Saddam Government. It would have been possible to communicate to less-discredited members of the old regime-first and foremost the military command-that in return for coming clean on Iraq's programs to develop weapons of mass destruction, cooperating with coalition forces, introducing the rule of law and accepting a broad-based transitional government that would have incorporated Iraqi exile, they could retain influence in the new Iraq. Iraq's neighbors could also have been assured that they had nothing to worry from the American military presence on their borders, as long as they did not attempt to obstruct a U.S. occupation which their benign attitude could help to make shorter.

“Instead the U.S. opted to dismantle the Ba'ath party government altogether without having anything with which to replace it, dissolve the Iraqi army, and proudly pronounced that the liberation of Iraq was just a beginning of a grand democratic transformation of the greater Middle East.”

In addition to the U.S. Vice President being totally wrong that we needed the present Iraq catastrophe to topple Saddam Hussein, the evil Carl Rove must be added to the sinister four very flawed pillars that I previously evaluated as Bush's keys to make the Iraq war happen. When the Rove addition is made the situation becomes even more absurd, tragic and evil. For he is the person who openly employed his considerable amoral, destructive skills to prevent the two much more competent Presidential hopefuls, Al Gore and John Kerry from becoming president instead of the present often disinterested clown who has one more year in that important office. It is reasonable to assume that neither of these two much more competent men would have followed up on 911 with the type of wild, frenetic policies which have caused much more serious problems that what the solutions were supposed to have solved.

Once the united role in causing the bloody Iraq debacle by these five stooges is recognized, there is little room for debate concerning the darkest, most irresponsible Presidential administration in U.S. history. Is it not a virtual fact that the five very flawed pillars on which equally flawed President Bush chose to lean so heavily to usher in the tragedy of Iraq, has also ushered in the darkest but most avoidable period of U.S. history? Or, can someone suggest a more evil, unnecessary mess than the one Bush and his five fellow thugs have created?

The Seventh Dwarf

I would be guilty of a terrible omission if I did not add one more thug to the list of six; Curveball, Ahmed Chalabi, Paul Wolfowitz, Dick Cheney, Carl Rove and the director of the berserk, out of control marching band of calloused, savage beaters of horrible war drums; President George W. Bush.

Sadly this horrible noise that these men created with their miserable music accompanying their multiple, bloody human sacrifices have been reminiscent of the very worst of Biblical history. It is written of King Mannaseh, the evil son of godly King Hezekiah in II Kings 21:16.

”Moreover, Mannaseh also shed so much innocent blood that he filled Jerusalem (Bagdad) from end to end-besides the sin that he caused Judah to commit so that they did evil in the eyes of the LORD.”

But the main crown of ugly, contemptible gore which King Mennasah proudly wore was his live sacrifice of his own son in the sacrificial fires to the god Baal along with the burning sacrifices of thousands of the children of countless other mothers and fathers. (21:5) As can reasonably be expected, many of the mothers and fathers were overcome with violent emotion while they watched their children being callously rolled down the ramp into the blazing sacrificial fires below. Therefore, to drown out the screams of the terrified children and also the horrible screams of their hysterical parents, the evil human sacrifices were accompanied by the loud and wild beating of drums and the loud blowing of trumpets. This maddening blare of discordant sounds was considered necessary so that the screeching screams could not be heard due to all the distraction created by Fox News, I mean noise created by the President's repulsive band. Please excuse me again. I should have written, the calloused King's repulsive band.

This brings us to the last of the President's thugs or dwarves, whichever metaphor seems most appropriate. Each emotionally suffering person, whether they be Iraqis or Americans or those from various other nations who have had their loved ones sacrificed to the bloody idol of war in Iraq, should realize that it deeply saddens me to make this final observation that I am personally convinced is very close to the perspective of the Compassionate ALLAH regarding the bloody sacrifice to idols occurring in Iraq.

Vice President Dick Cheney and the former Secretary of Defense, Donald Rumsfeld, have been long time professional associates. As we have previously observed, an insightful and calm professor at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem offered a rational plan to stop the cruel tyranny of Saddam Hussein without initiating bloody chaos throughout the vulnerable nation. Tragically, to adopt such a practical, thoughtful plan would not have allowed the Vice President's buddy, Donald Rumsfeld, to prove an evil, ego driven point. And that bloody point was that this evil Secretary of Defense felt compelled to sacrifice the precious blood of thousands of Iraqi's, Americans and others in order to prove to the Pentagon, to the State Department and to the whole gigantic Military Industrial Complex, that like the supposedly brilliant Paul Wolfowitz, that he alone was a superb thinker with a grand vision for his military which disagreed with everyone else's vision. His plan that he was ego driven to demonstrate to all was that the U.S. military must be streamlined under his perceptive direction, So to prove that he was right and all his critics were wrong, he was driven to carry out his immoral war in Iraq in his way, even though it meant offering thousands of human sacrifices to his personal evil idol of ego.

So here we encounter two exceptionally tragic ironies. The first irony is that the intellectual ACLU has successfully managed to keep the Ten Commandments out of government. Yet, Donald Rumfeld's blatantly violating the second commandment about not worshipping idols, has enabled him to make countless blood sacrifices to his own blood idol of ego which is against all the ideals that are important to not only the ACLU but also are important to the majority of the civilized world.

The second irony is this. Much of George Bush's second term election success was due to his support by right wing Christians for his being so strongly against stem cell research and same sex marriage. Yet, this supposedly dedicated Christian man stubbornly supported one mentally unbalanced man's policy in a war that was designed to offer thousands of innocent blood sacrifices to this one tiny calloused man's zealous, single-minded devotion to his own evil idol of ego.

Oh Merciful ALLAH, will you ever forgive the blatant wickedness of our supposedly Christian nation?
