Will Muslim Leaders Refuse to Rescue Islam?

No matter what hundreds of million of sincere Muslims have convinced themselves regarding the intent of one profound verse in An Nisa in the Holy Quran, the Quran does actually teach that the First Century nation of Israel did murder Allah's only Messiah. Therefore, if Islam continues to refuse to hold that nation accountable for that deplorable murder, Islam has unwisely chosen to throw justice out the window and to grind the vital concept of the Last Day's Eternal Judgment under the feet of Muslims. If that Last Day's eternal judgment continues to be cast aside by Islam, it is my opinion that this Great religion's very existence has become irrelevant and turned into no more than an empty shell. Yet it may continue to have crowded mosques.

The Prophet Muhammad is a great Prophet but he is the Messenger of Allah and of Islam. But he is not the total foundation of Islam. The main foundational truths of Islam are the facts that Allah is One, the vital role of the Holy Quran in proclaiming truth from Allah and that all humanity is accountable to Allah through His Judgment on the Last Day. Therefore, any false teaching which undermines the vital concepts of justice and judgment also undermine the entire religion of Islam. Alarmingly, because of ignoring and excusing the Nation of Israel's murder of Allah's own Anointed Messiah, Islam is steadfastly pursuing a wrong path which is leading to the sacrifice of Islam as a meaningful religion.

How has this grave situation occurred?

It has occurred due to the Sunni and Shiite leaders of Islam refusing to change their minds about the true intent and true purpose of two profound and key verses in the Holy Quran.

Together, an Nisa 4:157 and 158 fulfill the important purpose of exposing to ridicule the failed, evil attempt by First Century Israeli leaders to forever end the wonderful life of Allah's Anointed Messiah and to stop his positive influence. But their evil plot was totally forever defeated. They were publicly humiliated by the Wise and Mighty Allah when He raised him to new life after his agonizing illegal execution. But, because Allah did raise him to new life as 4:158 victoriously proclaims, verse 4:157 could forcefully state, that in the true meaning of the words, he indeed had not been killed or executed. This was definitely true and cannot be denied. Because a person who been forever killed cannot be alive three day's later.

Therefore, it becomes obvious that the major purpose of these two profound verses is to shut the mouths of the arrogant Jews who had the audacity to actually boast about their shameful crime of killing Allah's own Messiah.

Regretfully, Muslim leaders posses a paralyzed inability to move beyond a rigid, superficial, literal word for word understanding of the true intent of these two amazing verses. Therefore, the entire worldwide Islamic Community has been denied the wonderful opportunity to realize these verses are actually ridiculing Israeli leadership for its total failure to forever end the Messiah's life.

But did the wise Prophet of Islam himself realize the true intent of those two verses? Did he understand that leaders of Israel did actually manipulate the Romans to execute the innocent Messiah in order to permanently end his life?

Yes, I am personally convinced that he knew that deserved ridicule of Israeli leadership was the main intent of these two verses as well as their emphasis on Allah's triumph over evil. But I am also convinced that for the long range good of Islam, the Prophet wisely considered it not to be the best time to reveal these truths about the risen Messiah to other Muslims.

This was due to the events of the death of Isa followed by his triumphant resurrection, being such central beliefs in the much more established religion of Christianity. Thus, he considered it wise to wait until Islam was stronger for these great truths to be revealed.

Because the Prophet wanted to do everything needed in order to protect the central belief in Allah's Oneness, he considered that too close an agreement with Christianity at that time that would accompany a belief in the Messiah's death and resurrection, could endanger Islam's central belief in Allah's Oneness; this was revealed to be a real danger because Catholic Christians actually did appear to believe in three god's; god the father; Mary, Isa's mother; and their son, Isa himself. So the Prophet did not want to take any chances of exposing the vulnerable Muslim community to beliefs which appeared to worship more than one god which is polytheism.

Catholic Christians did then, and still do now, complicate this situation by their title for Mary as Mother of God.

One additional difficulty which must be resolved in An Niso 4:157 is the bizarre explanation of the term shubbiiha lahum, (it appeared to them), that Muslims now insist upon.

The present fantastic explanation of believing that somehow Allah and His Messiah cooperated together in a sort of CIA like operation to covertly sneak Isa away and secretly bring in a look-a-like substitute to take his place on the cross, is not an explanation that the Holy Allah would be involved in. Furthermore, to suggest that such a fantastic scenario is Islam's explanation of shubbiiha lahum is a severe insult to the integrity of Allah; is a severe insult to the integrity of His Messiah; and is a severe insult to the integrity to the great Religion of Islam.

I will not comment further in this paper on this imaginative myth that was invented since I comment extensively in other papers on this insult to the analytical abilities of the leaders of Islam.

The simple, straight forward explanation of the phrase shubbiha lahum that does make much sense is the following. The approximate English equivalent of shubbiiha lahum is "it appeared to them,'' (them being the Jews).

It was the obvious intention of the Jews to manipulate the Roman occupiers to execute the Messiah so that his life would be ended forever. So when his lifeless body was removed from the cross, it appeared to them (the Jews) that they had accomplished their purpose of ending his life forever because they saw that he had been killed by crucifixion, and at that time he was totally without life.

But wait a minute! The Holy Quran saw what the Jews' human eyes could not see. In reference to what they had intended to accomplish with their illegal crucifixion, he had neither been truly killed nor had be been truly crucified. To assume so was only wishful thinking on their part. Or in other words - it was conjecture. Because as the next verse so emphatically and triumphantly indicates, Allah used his own Wisdom and Might to raise him up alive. So of course he had not been truly killed nor had he been truly crucified.

Simply put, the Jews were looking at the events of the execution minute by minute, hour by hour, and event by event. One moment he was on the cross. A few hours later he was dead. A few hours after that he was in a borrowed tomb of a wealthy man being guarded by Roman soldiers.

But the Quran does not see the illegal execution spectacle from a minute by minute, hour by hour, event by event perspective. The Quran does not dwell on the process or on details. But instead the Quran has an enlightened perspective that concentrates on the victorious end result. And that end result was as though there was definitely no killing and definitely no crucifixion. Because through Allah's Wisdom and Might, His Messiah was later totally alive. And him being totally alive was all that counted.

Yes, according to the earlier Scriptures which the Quran repeatedly states that it confirms, and according to the enthusiastic, triumphant proclamation of the Holy Quran itself, Allah totally defeated the evil plans of the Jews to end his life forever, because Allah used His Wisdom and Might to raise him up alive. (SEE AN NISA 4:158)

So this simple, straight forward explanation of the true intent of shubbiiha lahum "it appeared to them" that his life had been forever ended, was not true because his life had not been forever ended.

It had not been forever ended because three days later he was very much alive. And this is the only explanation to shubbiiha lahum that makes sense. Yes, it did appear to them that he was forever dead but he was not. That he was permanently dead was only wrong conjecture on their part.

The Destruction of Justice

Yet, if Muslim leaders continue to insist that the Nation of Israel did not at least temporarily kill Allah's Messiah, they are risking virtually destroying the fact that Islam is based on justice. And they also destroy the important fact that Allah definitely holds all persons and even nations accountable on the last Day's Judgment for their crimes which have abused Justice.

Therefore, if the leaders of the Nation of Israel are not held accountable by Islam for the most deplorable crime that has ever occurred in the history of man, it is as though Islam has thrown justice out the window. Israel committed this crime against Allah Himself when its official leaders publicly murdered the Almighty's publicly anointed Messiah. It is also extremely significant that the only man who Islam publicly and blatantly excuses Israel of murdering is honored by the Holy Quran with the title of Messiah eleven times. So it should be inconceivable to Islam's leaders that they would allow the Jews to get away with the brazen murder of the Holy Quran's own Messiah.

So if justice is publicly trampled under the feet of Islam's leaders by their denial of Israel's blatant murder, they have unintentionally made Islam's concept of the last Day Judgment a farce and a joke. Thus, by insisting on the validity of this grave error, they have virtually made the great religion of Islam irrelevant to Allah.

In order to correct this grave and regrettable situation created by refusing to hold the Nation of Israel accountable for this state sponsored murder, Islam must take immediate steps to remedy this unintended error. It must officially and publicly hold Israel responsible for their scandalous murder.

It is the height of irony that the current great risk of Islam loosing its status before Allah as a major religion would be caused by such preventable and regrettable circumstances as allowing Israel to get away with murder. But with wise leadership this very negative situation is reversible and correctable. Quite strangely, Muslim leaders have been willing to openly violate truth presented in both the Holy Quran and in the previous Scriptures, in order to totally clear the Nation of Israel of valid murder charges relating to their First Century state sponsored murder.

This unjust clearance has taken place even though the U.S. favored Nation of Israel is even today blatantly stealing the land of Muslim and Christian Arab Palestinians, severely abusing them and often murdering them. Even in the midst of these deplorable crimes, confused Muslim leaders openly jeopardize the credibility of their entire religion by clearing this guilty nation of the bloody stain of brutally murdering the entire world's totally innocent Messiah. And it becomes even more shocking that these leaders would continue to excuse Israel of murder in the light of their contemporary shocking abuse and even murder of today's exploited and robbed Palestinians.

Undeniably, the irresponsible actions of confused Muslim leaders to potentially lethally damage their own religion of Islam in order to excuse and exonerate Israel for the worse crime in man's history, is both irrational and totally indefensible. To sacrifice an entire great religion's tradition and concept of Justice and concept of Eternal Judgment in order to defend the guilty Nation of Israel for an awful historical crime which that nation boldly and shamefully committed, does not make sense. This counterproductive and counter intuitive decision by Islam is totally against reason, and against ALLAH's justice.

To use one profound, complex verse in the Quran as an excuse for such confused and irresponsible leadership is no longer acceptable. Furthermore, this excusing the guilty is itself a blatant act of injustice by Islam which is highly offensive to Allah. He Himself does hold Israel accountable for that blasphemous murder, whether Islam will hold Israel accountable or not. If Islam truly desires to have credibility with ALLAH, it can only achieve that credibility by holding Israel accountable for its brutal, shameful murder of ALLAH's own Messiah, and the Holy Quran's own Messiah.
