Precious Women

There are wonderful persons,
Whose voices we seldom hear.
Whose faces we never see,
Yet, each of them is known to Thee.

In this land they are held in high esteem,
In a way, each one is a queen.
To protect them is a beautiful ideal,
But, how do they really feel?

Following the West's example is not wise,
With their own culture they should keep strong ties.
The family should continually be
Their highest priority.

Yet, how difficult for many it must be
To observe women from across the sea.
Some who go to extremes,
But many who live in dignity.

So isn't there a way to preserve
The dignity of the women here?
Yet, allow and encourage each one to be
The very precious person created by Thee.
